I Became Famous After I Became a Parrot in the Movie Star's House - Chapter 134
Dear Readers,
Due to a temporary website issue, starting around April 3, all novels started before January 2025 will be temporarily moved to the drafts folder for approximately 3–4 weeks. Unfortunately, this novel is included in that list.
In the meantime, I will be uploading the latest advance chapters to my Ko-fi account for my supporters. Regular updates will resume as soon as the site allows.
Thank you for your patience and support!
The moment he says it, Bai Gaoxing regrets it.
Li Pu’s eyes darken almost instantly, his expression hardening slightly. He doesn’t speak but simply unbuttons the top button of his shirt.
The air suddenly grows tense.
Bai Gaoxing leans against the headboard, watching as Li Pu approaches. Shadows instantly engulf his vision, and the mattress beside him dips.
“I didn’t… mean it like that…”
At this moment, the panic in his heart overrides instinct. It’s hard to tell whether he’s begging for mercy or regretting it. Bai Gaoxing nervously lowers his voice and turns his head to avoid Li Pu’s gaze, but his jaw is suddenly lifted.
He could only meet Li Pu’s gaze directly.
Danger.
Li Pu’s increasingly deep gaze sends a shiver from his back to the top of his head. Bai Gaoxing wants to retreat into the corner, but his back can’t find the right direction. His wrist slips, and due to weakness in his hands and feet, he falls into the soft pillows.
This position is too disadvantageous… or rather, from the moment he runs over to “nest,” he has completely placed himself in a dangerous situation.
A gentle kiss is just the beginning.
The familiar breath draws closer, followed by a firm and burning embrace. Bai Gaoxing grips Li Pu’s shoulders tightly, unsure whether to resist or give in. He vaguely feels the corners of his eyes growing wet, his brows furrowing uncontrollably.
His pounding heart drowns out all thoughts, and his ears barely register any sound from the outside world. By the time he regains his senses, only a shirt remains on him.
“I’ll try to be gentle,” Li Pu’s low voice murmurs in his ear.
Try to…?
Before Bai Gaoxing can react, his knees are held apart, and the coolness flowing down makes him shiver with cold.
Looking at the things in Li Pu’s hand, Bai Gaoxing widened his eyes and said in a dry voice, “…When did you buy it?”
Li Pu’s silent chuckle is his only reply.
This action is too shameful. Bai Gaoxing lowers his head, his ears turning red, and tries to close them. Li Pu stops him and begins to explore with his fingers, feeling the coolness.
A strange feeling. Bai Gaoxing is a little panicked and tries his best to retreat, but Li Pu easily pulls him back. He seems to have become the parrot that can only be rubbed casually, unable to escape, and even falling deeper.
“Don’t move.” Sensing his shrinking, Li Pu leans down, close to Bai Gaoxing’s face, and kisses his forehead in comfort.
“No…” Bai Gaoxing pushes back weakly, his eyes gradually filling with tears.
It is too much.
The man’s hands are large and slender, giving Bai Gaoxing the feeling of being completely exposed.
Li Pu’s eyes drop as he endures. When he gradually has room to bend and stretch, he carefully gropes forward again until he can accommodate more.
Spring is so warm that the room temperature rises quickly. The wind blows in from the window, making the gauze curtains ripple.
Bai Gaoxing’s hair is already damp with sweat, his eyes blank. He even feels that even pain would be better than this.
“Enough… hurry…” Bai Gaoxing wants to end this torment, using his fingers to tug at Li Pu’s sleeve, making it seem like he is taking the initiative.
Li Pu then grasps Bai Gaoxing’s wrist and presses it above his head. His adam’s apple bobs slightly. “Wait a little longer, or you’ll get hurt.”
His voice is extremely hoarse.
When it officially begins, Bai Gaoxing has already lost most of his strength. He is turned over and kneels, his cheek pressed against the slightly cool pillow, but the temperature of his back is completely opposite.
Listening to the words that it will be easier the first time, the restraining force slowly increases, carrying an undeniable dominance. Bai Gaoxing’s eyes open wider and wider, and his fingers curl more and more.
He can’t utter any words of rebuttal. His knuckles clench until they lose color, his mind blank, instinctively anticipating yet instinctively clamoring to escape.
But he can’t escape.
The difference in physique and strength means he can only accept it.
The air seems to grow thinner and thinner. Bai Gaoxing’s thoughts become muddled, and he starts to feel dizzy.
“Breathe.” Li Pu frowns, his thumb pressing on Bai Gaoxing’s lower lip, prying his mouth open a crack.
Only then can he breathe with difficulty. Bai Gaoxing feels as if a long time has passed. When he finally recovers a little, his mind only thinks of ending it.
“…Is it done? Is that it?”
But this is just the beginning.
The answer comes from the hand supporting his side: “Leave it all to me.”
He doesn’t know how much time has passed.
Bai Gaoxing’s hands clench involuntarily, his gaze scattered, as if something has gone too far.
The clothes that Li Pu recently tidied and folded to the side have fallen over, and several pieces that haven’t been put away are rumpled and scattered on the floor.
Li Pu’s usual gentleness is replaced with an intensity that makes Bai Gaoxing uneasy. The gauze curtains sway in the breeze, and a wave of dizziness washes over Bai Gaoxing, making it difficult for him to maintain his position. He wants to say stop, but the words catch in his throat.
The pillows, the sheets… the clean and tidy bed is now a mess.
Even during the rest period, Li Pu doesn’t stop, even moving closer, kissing him from top to bottom.
Bai Gaoxing is sobbing uncontrollably, no longer knowing what he is shouting. White light flashes before his eyes, and Li Pu calling his name echoes in his ears, but he can only respond with meaningless sounds. Then, everything goes black, and he completely loses consciousness.
…When he wakes up, he can’t tell if it is night or day.
Beside him is a warm and familiar heat source. Bai Gaoxing curls up weakly in Li Pu’s arms, struggling to lift his eyelids. His gaze drifts aimlessly before he realizes that exhaustion weighs down every inch of his body.
“…” He opens his mouth, wanting to call out to Li Pu, but his throat is so hoarse that no sound comes out.
Not only that—he is horrified to find that his fingers have no strength, and his waist and legs feel so heavy, as if they have lost all sensation.
…It is hard to imagine that he has endured it.
The moment he sees the physical evidence, he is deeply stunned.
Bai Gaoxing moves his neck, feeling a small crack. He must have had his head tilted back for too long while lying in Li Pu’s arms, and now the stiffness in his muscles and joints is setting in.
There’s a faint ache at the corner of his eye.
He blinks sluggishly, his eyelids unbearably heavy, reminding him of how embarrassingly hard he had cried.
Surprisingly, there’s none of the stickiness he expected. Maybe he slept too long, or maybe… he was cleaned up.
Perhaps the movement of his head wakes Li Pu. The hand already around him lifts and strokes his back. “Awake?”
His body remembers before his mind does—he trembles violently.
“…What time is it?” he asks in a hoarse voice, unable to stop himself from coughing a few times.
“Seven in the evening.” Li Pu gets up, picks up the warm water from the bedside table, and helps him up slightly. However, Bai Gaoxing subconsciously tries to sit up, but the moment he puts force on his waist, he grimaces and falls back down.
He stares blankly at the ceiling: It’s over, I’m ruined.
Li Pu sits on the edge of the bed, looking at the lingering redness in the corner of the young man’s eyes, and gently strokes it with his fingertip.
“It hurts…” Bai Gaoxing hisses and turns his head slightly, avoiding Li Pu’s touch.
Li Pu’s gaze is deep. He switches to smoothing the slightly messy hair. Because he doesn’t want to scare the young man, he has been trying his best to restrain himself throughout the whole process, but still ended up asking too much.
It just takes practice, Li Pu thinks. The first time is always clumsy.
“What do you want to eat tonight?” he asks, as if this is the best way to make amends.
Bai Gaoxing raises a hand. “Hot pot.”
“No.”
“Grilled skewers!”
“No.”
“Fried fish then? Fried fish should be okay, right?” Bai Gaoxing looks at him pleadingly.
Li Pu thinks for a moment. “Let’s have porridge.”
“…” Bai Gaoxing protests, “Then why did you even ask me!?”
Li Pu looks at him. “If you want to feel better tomorrow, then be obedient.”
No one is more obedient than me! Bai Gaoxing thinks bitterly, remembering how easily he was manhandled. He clutches his stomach—he still has the ridiculous illusion of being filled.
His face begins to turn red, and he buries himself in the blanket. “From now on, I’m going to focus on studying!”
…
Bai Gaoxing remains in bed until the next afternoon. When he finally gets up, his legs tremble with every step, but at least those restless thoughts have faded, allowing him to focus better on his studies.
…That is, if he ignores the lingering aftereffects.
While washing his face, he looks up at the mirror—only to see the dense marks covering his neck.
“Holy sh*t!”
Lifting his clothes, he finds deep red and bluish-purple finger marks circling his waist.
“Holy sh*t!”
Panicked, he yanks open his collar, eyes widening at the bruises trailing all the way down. Who knows how many more are hidden beneath his clothes?
Bai Gaoxing can’t take it anymore. “Li Pu! Why did you leave so many marks!?”
The bruises on his body never fade easily, and now there are so many. They’re glaringly obvious—who knows how long they’ll take to disappear?
The culprit, after a moment of thought, pulls out a bottle of medicinal ointment he had bought long ago. “Want me to rub it for you?”
Bai Gaoxing refuses on the spot.
No way. If Li Pu gets his hands on him again, who knows what might happen…
Crossing his arms, Bai Gaoxing exhales deeply, trying to suppress the shiver running down his spine.
…
After that one time, the spring restlessness seems to have subsided.
In order to maintain his health and not expend too much energy before the college entrance exams, the two agree to revisit this matter after the exam—though, to be honest, it’s more of a one-sided agreement. Bai Gaoxing gets the feeling that Li Pu’s compliance isn’t entirely sincere.
Bai Gaoxing sits upright at his desk, reviewing. After sitting for a whole morning, he feels a little tired and puts down his pen to take a breather. It is at this moment that a flash of inspiration strikes him, and he suddenly thinks of another problem.
Bird language and mimicking sounds are all influenced by his parrot traits. He hasn’t thought much of it before, but after this heat, he realizes the influence isn’t as light as he imagined.
Then, could there be other influences?
Bai Gaoxing rests his chin on his hand, a tremor in his heart. He has already thought of the issue he cares about most.
He had raised a budgerigar before. From the time it was unfledged to its natural death, it was only a few short years. Those raised better and who lived longer might survive more than ten years.
Then… what about the Wutong Parrots?
Bai Gaoxing can’t imagine not being able to stay with Li Pu. It feels like his long-awaited future is finally beginning, only to be overshadowed by the fear that it might be cut short.
Heart pounding, he quickly opens a search engine and looks up information on Wutong Parrots—a species he knows almost nothing about.
[The lifespan of a Wutong Parrot is similar to that of a human. With proper care, it can even live longer.]
…
Bai Gaoxing’s frown eases.
Then, it’s fine.
Satisfied, he tosses the mouse aside and leans back in relief.
