Helping with Adventurer Party Management - Chapter 37
Dear Readers,
Due to a temporary website issue, starting around April 3, all novels started before January 2025 will be temporarily moved to the drafts folder for approximately 3–4 weeks. Unfortunately, this novel is included in that list.
In the meantime, I will be uploading the latest advance chapters to my Ko-fi account for my supporters. Regular updates will resume as soon as the site allows.
Thank you for your patience and support!
The members of the Sword Fangs Legion boast high proficiency as adventurers, but they lack formal education. Discussing new visions or debating reasons is futile. It’s better to have the captain assert himself and make them listen.
How to instill the seed of change in these muscle heads?
After much deliberation, I propose the first step.
“A song. Let’s have the bard compose a song and sing it at a banquet. Even the Sword Fangs Legion holds feasts after completing quests, right? During these gatherings, have them sing a song that praises the spirit and honor of the Sword Fangs Legion. Discuss it beforehand and have multiple songs written. The members will feel proud singing it at the banquet.
The most uplifting song will be chosen again at the next feast. Have a new bard write a song for the subsequent banquet as well. Like gladiators in battle, the song that wins acclaim will be sung at the next banquet. Repeat this, and in two months, the brigade will have its own repertoire of songs. Sing them during training or after victories.”
Who are we? What do we want to be?
Adventurers are fundamentally wanderers. Therefore, they need a story about who they are. Even elite clans like the Sword Fangs Legion are no different. So, let’s prepare a story in song for them.
In the modern world, every military tradition includes military songs. Instead of imposing from above, Let them choose voluntarily through repeated feasts. Adventurers hate being imposed upon more than anything.
“I see, it looks simple, but it’s profound. You understand the temperament of adventurers well. Kenji, you could serve as my deputy here,” Jilboa laughed heartily.
