Helping with Adventurer Party Management - Chapter 24
Dear Readers,
Due to a temporary website issue, starting around April 3, all novels started before January 2025 will be temporarily moved to the drafts folder for approximately 3–4 weeks. Unfortunately, this novel is included in that list.
In the meantime, I will be uploading the latest advance chapters to my Ko-fi account for my supporters. Regular updates will resume as soon as the site allows.
Thank you for your patience and support!
Accompanied by Swiberry, I made my way from the third district to the second district. The residents of the second district included successful adventurers, mid-level merchants, and masters with highly specialized professions.
For top-tier clans like Sword Fangs, they often received requests from wealthy merchants in the first district or nobles residing in the nobles quarter.
However, aside from the clan’s leader Chef, most of the members are residents of the third district.
Moving to the first district required stringent checks at the transit gate, and there were restrictions on carrying large weapons like crossbows or polearms, making it inconvenient in many ways.
Due to these circumstances, despite their strength and financial resources, Sword Fangs had their office in the convenient second district.
As I walked, I couldn’t help but feel that indeed, the atmosphere in the second district was different. The stench of mud and sewage, common in the third district, was significantly reduced here.
While pondering such thoughts as what the rent might be if I were to set up my own office here, I arrived at the Sword Fangs’ office.
On the main street of the second district, it stood on the ground floor. There was a huge sign with a sword and fang motif. In this world without elevators, a first-floor space in an urban area commands a hefty price. I was impressed by the financial prowess of a top-tier clan that could accommodate 30 adventurers.
“Hey, I’m back,” Swiberry said as he opened the door.
“Welcome back!!” shouted more than ten men in deep voices, greeting him all at once.
They all wore simple armor. On one side of the office, there was a reception set for welcoming nobles and major merchants, while on the other side, chairs and tables for the members were casually arranged. Furthermore, all kinds of weapons such as swords, axes, spears, polearms, crossbows, and lances were lined up imposingly along one wall. Perhaps they were organized to be ready to grab their weapons and rush out at the command of their leader.
To someone like me, who had only dealt with amateur peasants, their level of expertise was dazzling. They had financial resources, skill, and high morale. I gained a renewed understanding of what a top-tier clan was.
