Helping with Adventurer Party Management - Chapter 19
Dear Readers,
Due to a temporary website issue, starting around April 3, all novels started before January 2025 will be temporarily moved to the drafts folder for approximately 3–4 weeks. Unfortunately, this novel is included in that list.
In the meantime, I will be uploading the latest advance chapters to my Ko-fi account for my supporters. Regular updates will resume as soon as the site allows.
Thank you for your patience and support!
We’ve figured out the manufacturing side. Now it’s all about how to sell them.
“Well, I have some marketing ideas too,” I said.
“Oh really? You’re already… hmm,” Sarah responded with a hint of disbelief.
“Well, you’re an archer, so let me ask you, if you had to pick the best bow, which one would it be?”
“Yeah, you’re an archer, right? If you had to pick the best bow, which one would it be?”
“Well, definitely the Composite Bow from Kwan’s. Oh, and Arganel’s Longbow too! You can aim straight even in the woods, the power behind the arrows is unmatched! They use some special adhesive that makes them strong for their size, and the draw feels just right… There’s even a rumor they use dragon whiskers for the bowstring!”
Kwan and Arganel, mentioned by Sarah, are names of workshops. Both have over a century of tradition and are rumored to supply even the military and royal palace. It must be a lie that the strings are made from dragon’s beard, but that just goes to show how excellent the quality is.
“I was talking to Kimberly the other day! I told her it’d be nice to buy one someday! But they only sell for cash upfront to adventurers, and even if you reserve one, it takes like two years…”
“That’s it, Sarah. That’s how you build a reputable brand. Selling to the palace and military gives them credibility, so they can charge higher prices. More people want to buy them, so the prices go up even more. People who use them think they’re worth every penny, which boosts their reputation. That’s how you sell.”
“But… you’re not selling to the palace or military, right?”
“Exactly. That’s why we sell to adventurers. To be extreme, I could give them to the top adventurers in town for free and have them spread the word.”
“Then it’d be the Fang’s Legion or Dawn of the Swift, right?” Sarah exclaimed.
Both are major clans of adventurers based in this town, each with nearly 30 members, almost like small mercenary groups. Recent records show new recruits breaking away from the beginner’s ranks to join them.
These major clans even have offices in town. I’ll think about my strategy for a bit and then contact them.
