Yuri Hero and Loli Demon King - Chapter 07-2
A few months earlier, in terms of timeline, this was before Tapfer and Yui met (Chapter 01).
“Saint Yeloin”—this is the name of a large religious organization, internally divided into a “Church” and a “Knights Order.” The reason for mentioning this is because the protagonist this time hails from the Saint Yeloin Knights.
Ψ Ψ Ψ
My name is Kyle, nineteen years old, and I am a member of the first squad of the Saint Yeloin Knights. Simultaneously, I am a devoted warrior of the “Yeloin Church.” Today, I received a summoning notice, instructing me to participate as a secondary vanguard of the first squad of the Knights. For this, I must attend a military briefing at the Grand Cathedral in the afternoon.
For someone like me, who hasn’t achieved anything significant despite being part of the Knights for over a decade, this is an incredible opportunity.
“A few days ago, we at ‘Saint Yeloin’ received an invitation from the Mage’s Guild, ‘Fairy Buttocks’…”
Pope Gregory Deacon Ti, also known as “Gregory IX.” He was explaining the reason for the battle, yet at that point, laughter erupted from the audience.
What kind of ridiculous name is that for a guild?
Countless criticisms and reproaches filled my mind. For a name, this is extremely low-class!
Pope Gregory IX coughed a few times, putting a stop to the commotion below.
“The guild has invited us to join them in defeating the ‘Archenemy’.”
Huh?Many were questioning this, not just me. People around me were either looking at each other or scratching their heads in confusion.
At this moment, someone raised a hand to ask, “Can such an enemy really be defeated with just the power of two organizations?”
“A formidable enemy? Is it the ‘Lupamoroy’?”
“Hey, isn’t that a bit too much to handle?”
It seemed like everyone had already lost their nerve just from hearing the name, and the morale had dropped to rock bottom.
Pope Gregory IX continued, “Besides us, the ‘Rebel Knights’ will also join the battle.”
He tried to boost morale, saying, “Three of the six major human organizations are participating; is there any enemy we cannot defeat?”
But morale can’t be lifted with just a few words, of course. Understandably, everyone remained apprehensive and didn’t dare to raise their heads.
Although this Demon King is said to just be a child and not yet fully developed in power, it’s still claimed to be the mightiest monster, not something easy to handle.
Ah, if only I had the protagonist’s aura, maybe I could take her on one-on-one, but unfortunately, I don’t.
“Aren’t our church and that heretical mage group supposed to be at odds with each other?”
Unwilling to fight, someone indirectly raised a standard opposition question.
The Pope nodded.
“Indeed, but with a great enemy at our door, is there any reason not to cooperate? Moreover, perhaps we can seize the opportunity to eliminate both the ‘great enemy’ and the ‘mage group’ together.”
Does he mean to burn bridges after crossing them?
Pope, are you sure about your comments?
“Furthermore, two humans have previously challenged the Demon King on their own, which might have already attracted the attention of the ‘Seven Kings of the Cardinal Directions’.”
Huh? Is it just that I am ignorant and ill-informed?Why do I completely not understand what the Pope is saying with this sentence?
“Only prevent the wife from dying”? What does that mean? Is that the standard of a good husband? Hey, I’m not even married yet!
Just as I was hesitating over whether to expose my ignorance by raising my hand to ask, someone beside me, a sacrificial lamb of sorts, raised their hand first, asking the very question I had in mind.
Oh, God! Thank you for protecting my image, so I don’t appear as foolish as that guy next to me.
“The so-called ‘Seven Kings of the Cardinal Directions’, simply put, are the kings (BOSSes) of seven races each occupying a territory. They represent entities closest to the pinnacle (Level 100).”
The Pope offered a somewhat detailed explanation to clarify.
I’ll just do a brief summary here:
To become a ‘King of the Cardinal Directions’, two conditions must be met: one must have a territory, that is, occupy a piece of land; and, secondly, be close to the pinnacle (Level 100).
As for who these seven kings are: they consist of the leaders of the following races—Dragons, Dragons (again), Vampires, Undead, Beastmen, Monsters, and Fairies.
The reason the Pope fears the attention of the ‘Seven Kings of the Cardinal Directions’ is that a significant portion of them belong to the ‘Demon Clan’, which means they are nominally under the ‘Demon King’. Dragons, Undead, Monsters, and Fairies basically all count as such.
Once they show interest and intervene in this matter, facing the Demon King in the future will only become more difficult!
“If we delay the crusade against this great enemy any further, it will become a grave threat in the future!” the Pope asserted confidently.”Don’t worry!”
Seeing that the morale was still incredibly low, a knight stepped forward to encourage everyone: “God will surely bless our army and lead us to victory!”
The speaker was a woman in her twenties, with shoulder-length blonde hair. She was dressed in heavy armor, which could be made of either iron or steel. Beneath the armor, a bit of Western-style indigo clothing was visible. On the chest of the armor was the “Six-Winged Cross” symbol that represents the Yeloin Church.
She was the captain of the vanguard for this battle, none other than Bodolu Simon Peter, the head of the Saint Yeloin Knights.
Although it’s not very important, it should be noted: her name order is contrary to the usual practice; Bodolu is her surname, and Simon Peter is her given name.
“Oh, it’s ‘Thunderous Simon Peter’!”
“Great! The captain, who possesses the ‘Holy Sword of Thunder,’ is also joining the battle!”
“Well said! God bless our army!”
“Captain, I love you!”
With this sudden rise in morale, Pope, you should reflect on this!
By the way, was there an unnecessary comment just now?
Bodolu Simon Peter is referred to as “Thunderous Simon Peter” because she possesses the top-notch thunder-attribute weapon, the Holy Sword “Donar.”
It’s not a weapon that an ordinary person can freely wield; it’s a “special weapon” that only a select few can use. However, Simon Peter herself seems to have admitted that she can’t fully realize the weapon’s full potential.
Ah, I’m really envious of special weapons.
“After the meeting, I’ll drop by your place, Kyle.”
While I was filled with envy, I overheard her saying this as she brushed past me.
Huh? Coming to my place?
Whoa, it’ll be hard not to have any wild thoughts about this…

The military meeting, which lasted the entire afternoon, finally ended, and I dragged my exhausted body back home.As I opened the front door, I saw my sister leaning against the cabinet at the entrance, waiting.
For a moment, there was an unreal sensation, as if I was looking at a human-shaped doll.
“…Josiah.”
To shake off this eerie feeling, I hesitantly called out.
No response.
“…Josiah?”
I started panicking: “Hey! Josiah! Are you alright?”
“Why are you shouting so loudly?”
Simon Peter asked first, but after seeing my sister in my arms, she understood the situation a little.
Without saying a word, she took Josiah from me and laid her on the floor to give her CPR.
“Don’t just stand there, go call someone!” Simon Peter ordered.
Just as I was about to run out, my pant leg was suddenly grabbed, stopping me in my tracks.
“Your reaction is inadequate, brother.” It was Josiah’s voice, weak but enough to calm my flustered state.
She sat up, gently touched her pink lips with her fingertips, and said, “Got myself a kiss.”
Hey, hey, don’t say such creepy lines!
As much as I wanted to retort, part of me had to admire Simon Peter’s charm for even winning over my sister. Should I laugh or cry?
“Josiah, I didn’t know you had such preferences.”
“Huh? I initially thought it would be my brother kissing me!”
Is that supposed to be a clarification?
Clarifying that she’s not into girls, but a brother enthusiast!
However, her next statement made me question if she’s into girls after all: “Simon, do you love me?”
Why is she making such outrageous statements!?
I don’t even know where to start on this…
“Yes, of course.”
“Why are you going along with this?!”
Hearing Simon Peter’s response, I shouted out.
Unexpectedly, she shook her head and said, “I’m not just going along with it.”……
…So that’s the kind of relationship you have!
“Simon, tie this around your waist!”
Josiah said as she untied her own belt and handed it to her.
“One cannot be without restraint. You must truly feel the pressure. The restraint is not to immobilize you but to make you aware of your responsibilities.”
“Josiah?”
“I entrust my foolish brother to you, dear leader of the Saint Yeloin Knights.”
“Understood.”
Simon Peter drew the Great Sword of Thunder God, holding the blade upright against her chest: “I, Simon Peter, will surely protect the entire Knights, protect Saint Yeloin, and safeguard the glory of God—!”

In the grand cathedral of Saint Yeloin, Pope Gregory Deacon Ti was in conversation—not merely a conversation, but a secret meeting—with another person.
“The forces of Simon Peter, the magic brigade, and the Knights will participate in this battle. Is there no problem in entrusting ‘that matter’ to you?” the Pope inquired.
“Oh? Are you really okay with this?” Though his words sounded concerned, his face bore a smile: “Simon Peter is your ‘Saint Yeloin’ member!”
“There’s no need for concern.”
The Pope rose from his throne, clasping his hands in front of the wall symbol marked by the six-winged cross of the Yeloin Church: “Her influence is overwhelming and could become a calamity.”
Hearing such a statement from a Pope—a person who should be the holiest—made the other party smirk quietly.
“Is that so? Are you worried her influence surpasses yours?”
“!”
Was that a direct hit?
The Pope’s face briefly showed surprise and anger, but after a deep breath, he calmed down and replaced it with a kind and gentle smile: “How could I be worried about such things?”
“The people revere her, revere Simon Peter more than they revere God, and that is her transgression,” the Pope clarified. “I am not worried about anything; I merely enact punishment on behalf of the supreme God! This is divine will!”
“On behalf of God…?” The other merely chuckled, without further comment.
“Is there no problem entrusting this to you?” the Pope reaffirmed.
“There’s no problem.” The man’s smile was filled with pleasure. “Whether it’s the Demon King, Simon Peter, the members of the magic brigade, or the Knights…”
The book in the man’s hands emitted a holy light, strikingly ironic compared to his actions.
He was aware of this, but what did it matter? In his world, good and evil were absent; he was simply pursuing the most intriguingly amusing course of action.
“I, Carmideus, accept your commission and shall punish the world with the ‘Heavenly Grail Codex’—!”
