Qi Yuan is an impoverished honor student at Weilika Noble Academy.
Adhering to the principles of “don’t participate” and “don’t get involved,” he became even more determined in his philosophy after witnessing many of the academy’s iconic chaotic scenes.
For four years, he remained cautious and vigilant. It wasn’t until graduation day that he finally let his guard down.
But not long after, while at home preparing for job interviews, Qi Yuan was ordered by his younger sister to go out and buy groceries. During the trip, he was struck by a speeding sports car and sent flying ten meters away.
Unwilling to die just like that, Qi Yuan used his final breath to memorize the face of the person who killed him, cursing their ancestors for eighteen generations before finally closing his eyes.
Qi Yuan never expected to open his eyes again. Looking at his reflection in the glass, he fell into deep thought.
He realized he had returned to his very first day of enrollment.
He thought he was dreaming, but the pain after pinching himself didn’t feel fake.
Finally resigning himself to fate, he dragged the second-hand suitcase he had scavenged towards the dormitory.
However, that very night, Qi Yuan had a strange dream.
In the dream, he was sitting on a bench by a flowerbed, holding a bottle of water.
Qi Yuan was confused, thinking he had transmigrated again. Just as he stood up to leave, a scorching hand grabbed his wrist.
He frowned and tried to shake it off, but the other person held on tight.
Qi Yuan was just about to ask what the hell the guy wanted, but the words were blocked before they could leave his mouth.
“I’m sorry, Baby, I’m late. Don’t be mad.”
It wasn’t just the words that stopped him—it was the face.
If he remembered correctly, wasn’t this one of the academy’s famous, high-ranking elites?
“Yu Qinghe?”
Qi Yuan frowned in confusion.
“Baby, it’s me.”
The man’s eyes were red, fine strands of hair hung over his sharp brow bone, and his puppy-dog eyes sparkled while looking slightly pitiful.
In Qi Yuan’s memory, this guy had always been arrogant and unruly. But right now… um…
Qi Yuan suspected he must have gone crazy to dream of Yu Qinghe calling him “Baby,” especially since he was a straight man.
He pursed his lips and struggled again. He managed to break free, failing to notice the hurt expression on the other man’s face.
Then, without saying a word, he turned his head and ran.
Why wouldn’t he run? Staring at each other would just be awkward.
But no matter how he ran, the scenario would eventually repeat: standing up from the bench, getting his wrist grabbed, and being called “Baby.”
After experiencing the loop a dozen times, Qi Yuan was completely numb.
With no other choice, he used his incredibly basic acting skills to soothe the man: “En, I’m not mad.”
Unexpectedly, the next second, the man cupped his face and kissed him.
Qi Yuan: “………”
Ahhh! I’m going crazy! I’m dirty! I’ve been tainted!
He felt like he was cracking apart; he wanted to kill the guy right then and there.
Before he could throw a punch, the dreamscape began to dissipate. When Qi Yuan woke up, the sky was already bright.
Lying on his bed, dead inside, Qi Yuan had absolutely no solution. He could only treat this bizarre dream as a side effect of rebirth.
He thought that having such a dream once would be the end of it. But when darkness fell again and he drifted off to sleep, Qi Yuan felt the familiar dreamscape returning, and he felt like dying all over again.
After that, Qi Yuan frequently had strange dreams.
The target in the dreams would change—it wasn’t limited to just one person—but they all claimed to be his boyfriend.
As the dreams became increasingly absurd, Qi Yuan spent his days immersed in shame. He had no idea that as the days passed, the powerful elites of the academy were secretly searching for someone.
He was even less aware that some sharp-eyed individuals had already found him and were trying to find ways to get close.
【Reading Guide】
- Amateur writing style.
- The plot progression is relatively slow; many plot points haven’t been written yet, these are not bugs.
- In the dreams, there will be scenarios of “two-timing” (dating multiple people), but this will not happen in reality.
- A mindless “everyone loves the MC” (Jack of All Trades/Heartthrob) story. Don’t look for logic, just read for the dopamine hit.
