Helping with Adventurer Party Management - Chapter 215
Dear Readers,
Due to a temporary website issue, starting around April 3, all novels started before January 2025 will be temporarily moved to the drafts folder for approximately 3–4 weeks. Unfortunately, this novel is included in that list.
In the meantime, I will be uploading the latest advance chapters to my Ko-fi account for my supporters. Regular updates will resume as soon as the site allows.
Thank you for your patience and support!
In the end, the meeting concludes with the decision that Deacon Michelino will put together a plan.
“Since we’ve resolved the difficult parts, everything should be fine,” he says, which is very reassuring.
Well, he’s an excellent young talent under Father Nicolo, so I can trust his words. He can also handle coordination within the church and negotiations with the nobles.
A competent business partner is indeed a blessing.

A month later, the first pair of shoes for pioneers is delivered to the church.
The shoes, engraved with the church’s seal, will be purchased by the church and distributed to the clergy engaged in the pioneering project.
Since this is also a test of brand management, only about 30 pairs are sold in advance, but the response from the clergy who will be using them is overwhelmingly positive—perhaps too positive.
“Hey Kenji, another priest has come in.”
“Again…? Did you catch their name?”
“Um, I think it was Benedetta… Priest?”
“Got it. I’ll be right there.”
About a week after we start supplying the Pioneer Shoes to the church, clergy who haven’t received their shoes directly begin coming to our organization’s workshop. Apparently, the church has already run out of stock, so they are searching for the production site.
“… Therefore, since we are producing these at the church’s request, we cannot manufacture or sell them independently. I’m sorry, but you’ll need to speak directly with Father Nicolo or Deacon Michelino’s management department.”
“Please, you have to do something! We have the budget, after all! Our church is eager to assist in supporting the rural areas.”
This is the fifth time this week I have had this same conversation.
Since the organization doesn’t have a direct sales function, all the shoes we make are delivered to the church’s brand management department. For brand management reasons, this is the only authorized process. The church procures the pioneer shoes in bulk using its development budget as supplies for distribution to project participants. The trade flow is designed so that the number of deliveries aligns with the church’s budget and the number of clergy involved in the development, ensuring that everything is delivered with time to spare. The production line runs smoothly, with the quantity of pioneer shoes being carefully limited.
So, in theory, there shouldn’t be any problems…
“Your noble intentions are truly admirable. We are doing everything we can to manufacture the shoes and deliver them to the church, so please bear with us just a little longer.”
“That department can be so inflexible! How about five silver coins for a pair? If needed, I could even increase the budget a bit more.”
“No, no, that won’t be necessary. We are receiving sufficient payment from the church. So, please just wait a little longer…”
After a few rounds of this back-and-forth, with me repeatedly bowing and apologizing, the priest finally seems to give up. They leave, looking back at me several times as they walk away.
“I’m exhausted.” With that, I collapse onto the office sofa.
“Thank you for your hard work. Here, have some tea. Be careful, it’s hot,” Sara says, handing me a cup of herbal tea.
One of the perks of having our workshop on Leather Street is that we have access to plenty of heat sources for work, meaning there’s always hot water available.
For a while, I hold the cup in both hands, appreciating the warmth. But as I do, I can’t help but think that I have to come up with a solution for this situation.
