Helping with Adventurer Party Management - Chapter 5
Dear Readers,
Due to a temporary website issue, starting around April 3, all novels started before January 2025 will be temporarily moved to the drafts folder for approximately 3–4 weeks. Unfortunately, this novel is included in that list.
In the meantime, I will be uploading the latest advance chapters to my Ko-fi account for my supporters. Regular updates will resume as soon as the site allows.
Thank you for your patience and support!
Kimberly, Ginger, Galan, and Gorm formed a party about two months ago.
Kimberly is an archer who just came from the countryside, Galan is from the village, Ginger learned beginner magic from the village mage, and Gorm is dexterous and fast. They were a picture-perfect novice party straight out of the countryside.
But it couldn’t be helped. Novices could only team up with other novices because everyone values their income and life.
Since forming their party, Kimberly and the others have completed 10 quests in two months, but it seems like they’ve hit a plateau. They can’t save any money and can’t upgrade their equipment.
When Kimberly, the leader, asked Sarah, who is also an archer, for advice, Sarah told her she knew someone who might be able to help. That’s why they came to the ground floor of this inn early in the morning.
At a table sat a swordsman-like man who extended his hand.
“I’m Kenji. I offer business consulting for adventurer parties.”
“I’m Kimberly. Sarah recommended you.”
Kimberly had seen Kenji in a medium-level party before. Although the party was not outstanding, she always had the impression that his party’s equipment was well-maintained.
“I’ve heard about it from Sarah, but I want to hear the details from you,” Kenji said.
Adventurers put their lives on the line for a ‘quest.’ Understanding that, Kimberly felt she could trust Kenji’s words.
“So far, we’ve taken about 10 quests. We have succeeded in all of them, but we’re not saving much money. That’s why our equipment isn’t improving. Personally, even if I earn money, the arrows are expensive and wear out quickly. I think I’ve gained a fair amount of experience, but I don’t feel like I’m making any progress.”
Kenji nodded slightly and said, “Leave it to me.”
