Recently, a trending topic shot to the top of the cosmic charts:
“Hot topic — the whole world is speaking Chinese!”
Everyone got curious. Turns out, someone was live streaming to promote the Chinese language — and the results were surprisingly good.
But why promote Chinese to that planet?
Come on, they’re still monkeys! Why bother those poor animals?
The guy’s already got a gun to his head — is this really necessary?
Still, the donations were pouring in like never before.
A Long glanced at the comments and the screen full of virtual gifts, speechless and looking to the heavens:
“Why are my fans so two-faced?”
The top donor’s username was short and to the point:
“Goldpatron.”
It was thanks to this sponsor’s massive donation that A Long’s stream skyrocketed to #1.
Looking at all those zeros, everyone was stunned by the sponsor’s generosity.
There was just… so… many… zeros — people started getting other ideas.
“Maybe the sponsor has a crush on A Long? Is that why they’re throwing money like that?”
A Long had accepted a mission:
Promote the Chinese language to the entire world.
She was forced to start streaming.
But why spread Chinese to an uncivilized alien planet?
The mission itself felt shady and totally unreasonable — like someone was just trying to mess with him.
But there was no backing out after accepting it.
Luckily, a lot of rich sponsors liked watching her “spread civilization” and started showering her with money.
A Long’s personality was pretty much: “muddle through life, eat, wait, and die.”
So once she got the sponsor’s cash, she started living it up like crazy.
That money seriously upgraded her whole lifestyle.
But once A Long had everything, she started feeling a little lost.
After partying to exhaustion, she eventually returned to her original mission — spreading Chinese to the world.
When a sponsor gets rich enough, their mindset evolves.
They start doing charity, supporting national campaigns, that kind of thing.
So this particular sponsor became interested in what A Long was doing.
“I like your stream,” they said — even though A Long hadn’t actually started teaching any Chinese yet.
She still got a massive sum of money upfront.
Even when A Long was just goofing off, doing nothing but enjoying herself, the sponsor didn’t mind.
After all, when you have too much money, you just want to see what someone can do with it.
Maybe that’s what rich people find entertaining.
And of course, after that, the sponsor was glued to A Long’s stream every day — constantly sending gifts.
You could say that A Long completing his mission wouldn’t have been possible without the sponsor’s enthusiastic support.
Well, and maybe the system’s random babbling helped a little too.
As for what happened between A Long and the sponsor later on…
