Chi Jianyue furrowed her brows, her eyelashes trembling, and let out a disgruntled hum. Then, with great effort, she opened her eyes. As her blurry vision focused and she saw Ting Wan clearly, any annoyance from being disturbed in her sleep dissipated instantly.

“You’re back?” she asked.

Ting Wan nodded, her hair only loosely towel-dried, with water droplets slowly accumulating at the roots and trickling down from the ends as she nodded. Chi Jianyue’s gaze followed those few droplets as they slid along Ting Wan’s neck and into her sleep dress. The woman was slightly damp, her skin cool and fragrant. Chi Jianyue quickly averted her gaze, blinking to clear her mind of the lasc*vi*us thoughts that had arisen.

Ever since she had been with Ting Wan, things had become increasingly strange. No matter what she saw, she couldn’t help but unconsciously think about their intimate encounters.
