Fu Xiaoyin was full of confidence, thinking that Jiang Jiang would definitely not refuse her, but Jiang Jiang replied with something she didn’t expect.

[Jiang Jiang Doesn’t Eat Ginger: Sister Fu, thank you for your kindness, but you’ve misunderstood.]

Fu Xiaoyin pondered for a long time but couldn’t figure out what this sentence meant. What had I misunderstood?

Could this be Jiang Jiang’s subtle way of rejecting me?

Fu Xiaoyin also knew that her behavior was indeed a bit presumptuous. After all, she and Jiang Jiang weren’t familiar at all, and she had always had a good impression of Ji Xu’an before. It was already generous of Jiang Jiang not to reject her.

Moreover, Jiang Jiang was shy, so how could she take the initiative in this kind of thing?

Thinking this way, Fu Xiaoyin felt even more that she shouldn’t have sent a message to Jiang Jiang. She should have asked Ji Xu’an.

Fu Xiaoyin couldn’t help but slap her head. What was I thinking?

Just as she was about to go to Ji Xu’an, Ji Xu’an sent a message to Fu Xiaoyin first.

[Ji Xu’an: Manager Fu, could you please come to the hallway for a moment?]

Fu Xiaoyin’s hotel was on the same floor as Ji Xu’an’s. Ji Xu’an was asking her to go to the hallway at this time, so she probably had something to say to her. Fu Xiaoyin could even guess what Ji Xu’an wanted to say to her.

She picked up her phone and walked to the door, opening it to see Ji Xu’an standing not far away waiting for her.

Fu Xiaoyin closed the door behind her and walked towards Ji Xu’an, “President Ji.”

Ji Xu’an nodded slightly to her, “Manager Fu, there’s a dinner tomorrow noon. Please come along.”

Her expression was cold and serious, and her tone was very calm when she spoke.

Fu Xiaoyin was stunned for a moment, “Is it a dinner that the partners are treating our company to?”

“Yes.” Ji Xu’an looked down at the time on her phone, “I’ll send you the address later.”

Fu Xiaoyin tsked, as she could see the hidden smugness beneath the calm expression through Ji Xu’an’s unwavering eyes.

“I’m not on the list of business trip personnel this time. I shouldn’t have to go along, right?”

Fu Xiaoyin said this with a hint of malicious glee. After all, Ji Xu’an hadn’t taken her on the business trip.

She was on vacation these two days and couldn’t possibly work overtime!

Ji Xu’an wasn’t annoyed, as if she had expected Fu Xiaoyin’s reaction, “The person in charge on the other side specifically asked you to accompany them, hoping that Manager Fu can spare an hour or two.”

“If you can make the other party happy and make this cooperation smoother, everyone will thank you.”

Fu Xiaoyin: ???

Good heavens, so if I don’t gone, and this deal falls through, it’s all my fault?!

This was a textbook case of PUA!!

Fu Xiaoyin’s blood pressure soared, looking at Ji Xu’an’s face, which was as cold and beautiful as ever. For some reason, she felt that the other party’s face was a bit hateful.

“I’m still on vacation, President Ji. How did the person in charge on the other side know I was here?” Fu Xiaoyin snorted, almost saying Ji Xu’an’s name.

Ji Xu’an’s expression didn’t change, “Maybe they heard it from someone.”

Fu Xiaoyin really wanted to give her two punches. Besides Ji Xu’an, who else would say this, and who was more qualified than Ji Xu’an to say this kind of thing in front of the person in charge on the other side?

“Okay,” Fu Xiaoyin crossed her arms. “You really are worthy of being President Ji. I’ve seen it firsthand today.”

Her bad behavior was so effortlessly charming, utterly devoid of guilt.

Ji Xu’an ignored her sarcasm. She looked down at the time again, and then looked up at Fu Xiaoyin, “Manager Fu, don’t forget to be on time.”

Fu Xiaoyin took a deep breath, “Okay.”

Why hadn’t I noticed before that Ji Xu’an’s words were so infuriating?

Seeing Ji Xu’an turn around and leave, Fu Xiaoyin quickly stopped her.

“Wait a minute, President Ji. I have something else I want to say to you.”

Ji Xu’an said with a faint expression, “Three minutes.”

Fu Xiaoyin gritted her teeth, “Okay.”

Three minutes was three minutes!

“Last time, Miss Xie told me that she and you are just sisters. President Ji, from my observation today, the relationship between you two really doesn’t seem like a couple.”

Hearing this, Ji Xu’an’s calm expression seemed to change for a moment. She stared at Fu Xiaoyin, “What do you want to say?”

“President Ji, you should like Miss Xie, right?” Fu Xiaoyin resisted the urge to rub her arms. Ji Xu’an’s eyes were particularly pressing at this moment, almost making her forget what she originally wanted to say.

Ji Xu’an didn’t answer directly, but said in a cold tone, “That doesn’t seem to have anything to do with you.”

“It can’t be said that it has nothing to do with me.” Fu Xiaoyin smiled deliberately and meaningfully, “If you don’t have any intentions in that regard, doesn’t mean that others aren’t allowed to have them?”

In Ji Xu’an’s ears, this sentence was almost Fu Xiaoyin saying directly that she also liked Jiang Jiang.

Ji Xu’an pursed her lips, and the fingers holding her phone tightened a bit.

“Jiang Jiang doesn’t plan to be in a relationship for the time being,” she said in a low voice.

“Is it that she doesn’t plan to be in a relationship, or that someone doesn’t allow her to be? President Ji, what era is it now? If parents manage too much, children will rebel,” Fu Xiaoyin retorted, not to be outdone.

She really knew how to anger Ji Xu’an, bouncing around on Ji Xu’an’s landmines with every sentence.

The way Ji Xu’an looked at her could no longer be described as indifferent; it was a scrutiny filled with defensiveness and vigilance, “Manager Fu, Jiang Jiang is an independent and free person. Whether or not she wants to be in a relationship can only be chosen by her, and no one else has the right to make decisions for her.”

“To put it bluntly, this is a matter between me and Jiang Jiang. It has nothing to do with you, and you have no right to interfere.”

Ji Xu’an didn’t leave Fu Xiaoyin any face with these words. If it were anyone else, they would have been so angered by Ji Xu’an that they wouldn’t want to talk to her, but Fu Xiaoyin’s brain circuit was different from ordinary people.

“President Ji, I’m just kidding. Don’t be mad,” Fu Xiaoyin watched with amusement as Ji Xu’an’s composure cracked. “I’m not qualified, but I can’t help but meddle.”

“Weren’t you willing to spend 999 yuan to buy that rose tonight?”

Ji Xu’an’s eyebrows furrowed, “It was you?”

She had thought that the little girl’s rhetoric was taught by the adults in her family, but she didn’t expect it to be Fu Xiaoyin.

“What exactly do you want to do?”

Fu Xiaoyin shrugged her shoulders, “I don’t want to do anything. I just think that President Ji, you don’t seem to know how to date. As a caring employee, I just want to help my boss.”

Originally, Fu Xiaoyin didn’t plan to reveal her plan to Ji Xu’an, but who told Ji Xu’an to guard against her so deeply?

Even eating lunch had to be with her, let alone the evening.

“President Ji, Secretary Zhao, that virgin straight man, definitely can’t help. If you don’t understand anything, you can come and ask me!” Fu Xiaoyin patted her chest.

Ji Xu’an was silent, just looking at her with a look of inquiry.

Fu Xiaoyin also knew that her words weren’t very convincing. She could only bite the bullet and make it up along the way.

“Don’t you want to take things further with Miss Xie?”

“Like I said, while I have no feelings for Miss Xie, others might. Aren’t you worried she’ll fall for someone else?”

“I’m very good at dating. If you believe me, I guarantee that you’ll win the beauty!”

Fu Xiaoyin tried her best to sell herself.

Ji Xu’an didn’t answer, just staring at her for a long time, as if observing whether Fu Xiaoyin was lying.

Fu Xiaoyin steeled herself and met Ji Xu’an’s gaze, until the embarrassment became too much to bear and her smile faltered. Ji Xu’an shook his head.

“No need.”

Fu Xiaoyin:……

Fu Xiaoyin said “Oh” softly, “Okay, then pretend I didn’t say anything.”

Damn it! So indifferent!

Fu Xiaoyin was rejected repeatedly, and she was a bit discouraged for a while. She felt like a eunuch beside the emperor. Ji Xu’an and Jiang Jiang weren’t in a hurry, but she was very nosy.

I was being presumptuous, but which shipper wouldn’t be anxious when they saw their CP making no progress?

Moreover, there wasn’t no affection between the CP. They are clearly in love with each other.

Wait!

Fu Xiaoyin suddenly thought of Jiang Jiang’s sentence “misunderstood.”

Could it be that all of this was her wishful thinking? Actually, Jiang Jiang doesn’t like Ji Xu’an now?!

If that was the case, it would be very dramatic!

Fu Xiaoyin’s scalp tingled when she thought of the words she had said.

Seeing her silent, Ji Xu’an reminded, “Manager Fu, don’t do anything unnecessary.”

Fu Xiaoyin was a little guilty, “I know.”

Ji Xu’an closed her eyes, “Okay, don’t forget what I told you just now.”

After she finished speaking, she didn’t give Fu Xiaoyin a chance to continue speaking, and turned around and went back to her room.

It was delayed by two minutes after all. When Ji Xu’an returned to the room, Jiang Jiang had already finished taking a shower and was sitting on the sofa drying her hair.

“Sister.” Jiang Jiang turned to look at Ji Xu’an, her hands still moving, “Where did you go just now?”

“I went to find Manager Fu.” Ji Xu’an didn’t hide it from her, “I said a few words to her.”

Her face seemed to have a look of fatigue, and Jiang Jiang recalled the sentence “take things further” that Fu Xiaoyin had sent, and couldn’t help but ask softly, “What did you and Sister Fu talk about?”

Jiang Jiang’s original intention was to inquire about the news, but Ji Xu’an mistakenly thought that she was worried about her embarrassing Fu Xiaoyin, and the corners of her lips, which were slightly raised, immediately turned into a straight line.

Was Jiang Jiang so concerned about Fu Xiaoyin?

“I told her to remember to attend tomorrow’s dinner.” Ji Xu’an said, her thick eyelashes drooping slightly, “But… Manager Fu said some strange things again, making it hard to understand.”

Jiang Jiang unconsciously stopped drying her hair, and she stared at Ji Xu’an’s face without blinking, asking, “What strange things?”

“She said… she doesn’t want you to be in a relationship with anyone else,” Ji Xu’an probed.

That was indeed what Fu Xiaoyin meant. She seemed very eager to match her and Jiang Jiang together. Ji Xu’an felt that she hadn’t lied, she just hadn’t explained it very clearly.

Ji Xu’an was ultimately provoked by Fu Xiaoyin’s words, and her rationality was gradually leaving.

“Ah?” Jiang Jiang was stunned when she heard this, and her cheeks inevitably flushed a bit after she realized what it meant, “Why would Sister Fu say something like that?”

Ji Xu’an captured the rosy glow on Jiang Jiang’s face, and her heart sank a few inches. There were many kinds of shyness, and Ji Xu’an was afraid that it was the kind she least wanted to see.

“I don’t know.”

She took a deep breath and took two more steps forward, getting closer to Jiang Jiang.

“Jiang Jiang, if Fu Xiaoyin really feels something for you…” Ji Xu’an paused, unable to say the second half of that sentence no matter what.

But Jiang Jiang understood what she meant. She stood up, looking at Ji Xu’an with a face full of surprise, “Sister, you’ve misunderstood. Sister Fu was probably just joking with you.”

Jiang Jiang had indeed used Fu Xiaoyin to provoke Ji Xu’an before, but that was when Ji Xu’an hadn’t loosened her stance yet. Seeing that Ji Xu’an’s attitude had become more and more gentle recently, and it seemed that she vaguely had the idea of turning their fake relationship into a real one, Jiang Jiang didn’t want to involve Fu Xiaoyin anymore.

“And I don’t like Sister Fu.” Jiang Jiang’s blush deepened as she said this, and even her gaze shifted away, no longer meeting Ji Xu’an’s eyes.

Her voice was very soft, but she made sure that Ji Xu’an could hear her clearly.

“How could I fall for Sister Fu so quickly? Sister has spent more time by my side and is more considerate and gentle with me. If I were to like someone, it should be Sister.”

!!!

At that moment, Ji Xu’an’s ears were ringing, and her heartbeat suddenly began to lose control, reaching an unimaginable frequency.

Jiang Jiang wasn’t that she didn’t like her, but Ji Xu’an could feel that it was just a sisterly love, unlike now, the “like” in Jiang Jiang’s mouth clearly didn’t refer to the affection between relatives!

Does she even realize what she’s saying?!

Ji Xu’an’s breathing became rapid, and she stared straight at Jiang Jiang’s flushed cheeks, her limbs stiffening so much that she could hardly move.

The ambiguous atmosphere floating in the air at this moment shouldn’t be only her illusion, right?

Ji Xu’an didn’t dare to be careless at all.

This was the first time Jiang Jiang had given her a signal similar to a heartbeat.

It was as if flowers were blooming in Ji Xu’an’s heart. She thought, in Jiang Jiang’s heart, am I no longer just a simple older sister?

She remembered another thing. When the little girl wished them a long and lasting relationship before, Jiang Jiang didn’t explain, and she accepted the rose that represented love.

Ji Xu’an was only focused on guarding against rivals at that time, and now she belatedly felt regret. She shouldn’t have ruined the atmosphere at that time!!

Ji Xu’an clenched her fists, fighting to maintain her composure. For the first time, she realized how tongue-tied she could be. Faced with this situation, she was completely speechless.

All of this happened too suddenly, completely catching Ji Xu’an off guard, so much so that her brain crashed along with it.

Jiang Jiang didn’t speak either. Ji Xu’an’s lips opened and closed, so anxious that she couldn’t utter a word for a long time.

She was still worried that all of this was just her thinking too much.

Love always makes people cautious, afraid that after crossing the safety line, what they would gain wouldn’t be what they wanted, but drifting further and further away.

Ji Xu’an hesitated for a long time, but in the end, she couldn’t even ask a single word. The thoughts in her mind were very chaotic, and there were too many things she wanted to say, but for a moment, she didn’t know how to reply to Jiang Jiang.

She could only stand there silently, the ears hidden in her hair becoming more and more red, so hot that they were about to burn.

Unfortunately, all of her entanglements and joys couldn’t be accurately conveyed to Jiang Jiang.

Initially, Jiang Jiang expected Ji Xu’an to say something. After all, it was a confession, wasn’t it?

Ji Xu’an was very smart and couldn’t possibly not understand what she meant.

But Jiang Jiang waited patiently for a long time, but Ji Xu’an never spoke.

Jiang Jiang bit her lip, lowered her eyes and fell into deep thought. Was I too impatient, and Ji Xu’an didn’t have any intentions in that regard?

But Ji Xu’an was willing to spend a high price to buy me a rose that represented love. Wasn’t that because she had a good impression of me?

Just now, she questioned me in a hurry. Wasn’t that also because she was jealous?

And before, Grandma sent a message telling me to cheer up, and also said that Ji Xu’an was no longer so resistant to marriage. She encouraged me like this. Wasn’t that because Ji Xu’an had revealed something to Grandma?

Jiang Jiang thought more and more, she lowered her head, and a look of disappointment flashed in her eyes.

Ji Xu’an was still considering her words in her heart. She finally decided to first subtly sound out Jiang Jiang’s intentions and ask clearly what kind of woman Jiang Jiang liked.

Besides being mature and stable, were there any other requirements?

Am I qualified enough?

Ji Xu’an’s mood was very uneasy. She thought, as long as my tone is gentle enough and didn’t seem too purposeful, Jiang Jiang shouldn’t feel uncomfortable, right?

Ji Xu’an prepared herself mentally, but just before she could ask the question, Jiang Jiang suddenly looked up and smiled at her, interrupting the words Ji Xu’an hadn’t spoken.

“No more talking, Sister should go wash up first. I’m a little tired and want to rest early.”

Ji Xu’an moved her lips weakly, the tension and anticipation in her dark eyes disappearing in an instant. She vaguely realized that she seemed to have missed something, and a feeling of suffocation surged into her chest.

“Jiang Jiang…”

“Sister, let’s talk about anything tomorrow. I’m really a little tired.” Jiang Jiang interrupted her again.

She didn’t want to experience hope and disappointment again. The atmosphere just now was so good, everything was just right, but Ji Xu’an didn’t respond to her confession, let alone now.

Thinking back to the scene when buying flowers in the evening, she obediently hugged Ji Xu’an, but Ji Xu’an still had the mind to educate her.

Maybe in Ji Xu’an’s eyes, that flower really wasn’t anything, and neither was that 999, after all, Ji Xu’an was very rich.

And Ji Xu’an herself had said, telling me not to be too easily moved.

The little bit of thought in Jiang Jiang’s heart completely vanished at this moment.

She slowly exhaled, secretly reminding herself in her heart that she knew from the beginning that it was difficult for Ji Xu’an to be moved by others, and the current progress could be considered fast, so there was nothing to be disappointed about.

Besides, what I wanted was never Ji Xu’an’s love.

Didn’t Ji Xu’an herself say that she would marry me, but would never love me?

It was already destined, so why should I force it?

Perhaps some of Ji Xu’an’s actions had given her an illusion, but she forgot that she herself could act out a deep affection, and Ji Xu’an could do the same.

I was too hasty.

Jiang Jiang thought to herself that she still had to start with Grandma.

As long as I could marry Ji Xu’an, it doesn’t matter whether she really liked me or not.

…

Secretary Zhao booked a suite, and Jiang Jiang and Ji Xu’an slept in separate beds.

Ji Xu’an didn’t dare to suggest sleeping with Jiang Jiang again.

Neither of them slept well. Jiang Jiang still slept for a few hours, but Ji Xu’an stayed awake until dawn. When she got up the next day, there were even faint dark circles under her eyes.

She repeatedly recalled the scene last night. Was Jiang Jiang waiting for me to say something at that time?

But my performance disappointed Jiang Jiang, so Jiang Jiang interrupted me and didn’t want to listen at all.

The more Ji Xu’an thought about it, the more she regretted it, but Jiang Jiang didn’t give her a chance to make up for it. By the time she figured out how she should respond, Jiang Jiang didn’t need it anymore.

In the morning, Ji Xu’an wanted to explain to Jiang Jiang several times, but Jiang Jiang acted as if nothing had happened, as if she didn’t take last night’s events to heart at all.

It was her ambiguous attitude that made Ji Xu’an hesitate to take that step.

But Ji Xu’an knew that it wasn’t Jiang Jiang’s fault. After all, liking Jiang Jiang was her own business, and Jiang Jiang might not have meant it at all.

Ji Xu’an exhaled deeply and reached out to clip a fried egg for Jiang Jiang.

“I’m going out to meet the people from the partner company later. Jiang Jiang, if you want to go out for a walk, remember to bring a bodyguard.”

Jiang Jiang took a bite of the fried egg, the oily aroma mixed with the aroma of the egg exploded in her mouth. The soft-boiled yolk inside was very tender, almost melting in her mouth.

After Jiang Jiang finished eating the whole fried egg, she nodded lightly, “I know, Sister, go ahead and get busy, don’t worry about me.”

Her attitude was no different from usual, but Ji Xu’an had sensed Jiang Jiang’s coldness and alienation hidden beneath her calm face.

She gripped her chopsticks tightly, “The people from the partner company are treating us to dinner at noon. Do you want to…”

Jiang Jiang looked up at her, “Does Sister want to take me with you?”

Before Ji Xu’an could answer, Jiang Jiang smiled and joked, “That’s not good, I don’t understand anything, and I’m not a member of Sister’s company.”

Her tone was slow, “Who takes their younger sister along when talking about work?”

Ji Xu’an almost subconsciously wanted to ask, if a younger sister wasn’t okay, then would a girlfriend be okay?

But she held back.

“It’s okay, I also want to introduce you to others.” Ji Xu’an paused, “So that people don’t always say that I don’t value you and don’t want to bring you out to meet people.”

Jiang Jiang put down her chopsticks and wiped the oil stains from her lips with a tissue, “Then if others ask about our relationship, how should I answer?”

Ji Xu’an answered almost without hesitation, “Didn’t we agree before to pretend to be engaged wives in front of outsiders?”

Hearing this, Jiang Jiang finally curved her lips slightly, her smile exceptionally gentle, “Then okay, I’ll listen to you, Sister.”

Ji Xu’an breathed a sigh of relief after getting her affirmative answer.

“Then I’ll have someone pick you up at noon.”

…

Fu Xiaoyin only found out that Jiang Jiang was also there after arriving at the restaurant.

When she entered, she happened to hear Ji Xu’an introducing to others, “This is my fiancée, her surname is Xie.”

Everyone nodded to Jiang Jiang one after another, and Jiang Jiang also greeted everyone with a smile before sitting down next to Ji Xu’an.

Fu Xiaoyin sat on the other side, diagonally opposite Jiang Jiang.

Jiang Jiang was the only new face at the table, and her identity was so special, so the topic inevitably fell on Jiang Jiang.

“When did President Ji get a fiancée? How come there wasn’t any news about it?”

Ji Xu’an turned to look at Jiang Jiang, the emotion in her eyes particularly serious, “We confirmed our relationship not long ago. I’m relatively insecure, so I only let everyone see her now.”

The person who spoke just now showed a surprised expression, “I didn’t expect it. So President Ji also gets anxious when she’s in love.”

Others also made a few jokes.

Ji Xu’an smiled and accepted everyone’s teasing, and Jiang Jiang also cooperated with her, acting like an affectionate wife.

Only Fu Xiaoyin’s expression was strange.

The atmosphere at the table was relaxed and harmonious until someone suddenly asked, “Then will we be able to drink President Ji and Miss Xie’s wedding wine soon?”

Everyone suddenly quieted down.

Even Jiang Jiang’s gaze fell on Ji Xu’an.

Ji Xu’an turned her eyes to meet Jiang Jiang’s gaze. After the two looked at each other for a moment, she suddenly raised her hand and gently held Jiang Jiang’s fingers.

“If possible, I would also very much like to invite everyone to drink my wedding wine as soon as possible.”

As long as Jiang Jiang was willing to agree to be with me.

Ji Xu’an wasn’t forcing Jiang Jiang. After saying this, she quickly changed the subject, but she never let go of Jiang Jiang’s hand.

Jiang Jiang didn’t break free from her hand for some reason, which relieved Ji Xu’an a little.

Her probing stopped there, and Jiang Jiang’s reaction undoubtedly gave her hope.

Ji Xu’an wasn’t this nervous even when discussing business. From last night until now, she had been making mistakes non-stop, so stupid that even she couldn’t bear to look at herself.

Fortunately, Jiang Jiang didn’t seem to be completely angry with her, and she still had a chance.

After eating, the group slowly walked out. Ji Xu’an was talking to the person in charge on the other side, and Jiang Jiang fell behind her two steps, and Fu Xiaoyin took the opportunity to pull her aside.

“No wonder you rejected my help. So you’ve already confirmed your relationship?” Fu Xiaoyin rubbed her palms, “Then pretend I didn’t say anything last night. I was too presumptuous.”

Though she sensed something wasn’t quite right in their dynamic, Ji Xu’an and Jiang Jiang both said so, so it must be true.

It couldn’t be that they were acting in front of everyone, right?

Hearing this, Jiang Jiang glanced at her thoughtfully, “Sister Fu, you’ve misunderstood.”

Fu Xiaoyin: “Ah??”

What had I misunderstood again?

“The relationship between me and Sister isn’t what you think.” Jiang Jiang’s face had a bit of loneliness, “Sister doesn’t like me.”

Fu Xiaoyin almost said bullshit!

If Ji Xu’an didn’t like Jiang Jiang, I would twist off my own head and let them kick it as a ball!

Fu Xiaoyin was anxious, “No, why would you think that?”

Jiang Jiang simply told her what happened last night.

Fu Xiaoyin:……

Fu Xiaoyin was stunned. Ji Xu’an is an idiot!!

It was already like this, what was she still being stubborn about?

Fu Xiaoyin struggled to explain for Ji Xu’an, “Actually, is it possible that she’s embarrassed to say it? She’s just… love is in her heart but hard to express?”

Jiang Jiang shook her head, “Forget it, Sister Fu, you don’t have to comfort me.”

“I hope you don’t tell Sister what I told you. I don’t want her to distance herself from me again.”

Fu Xiaoyin made a zipping motion, “Don’t worry, I definitely won’t tell her!”

Looking at these two entangled people, Fu Xiaoyin had a sense of clarity and anxiety as an outsider.

Suddenly, a thought flashed in her mind.

“Jiang Jiang.” Fu Xiaoyin grabbed Jiang Jiang’s wrist and asked in a low voice, “Are you willing to believe me and try one last time?”

“Tonight, you come with me to a place, and I guarantee you’ll get the answer you want.”

Jiang Jiang frowned, “Where to?”

Before Fu Xiaoyin had time to say the answer, a familiar aura suddenly appeared in front of her.

She turned her head and saw Ji Xu’an standing in front of them, staring at her with a gaze that could be described as deadly.

To be precise, she was staring at the fingers she had circled around Jiang Jiang’s wrist.

Fu Xiaoyin let go of her hand as if she had been electrocuted.

“President Ji, you’ve misunderstood,” she said with a dry laugh.

As soon as the words came out, Fu Xiaoyin almost bit her tongue.

Why did these words sound so familiar?!
