Father Qin and Mother Qin felt a bit guilty when he said that.

But soon, they toughened up again and said firmly, “We watched Xiao Cheng grow up. When we were raising him, you didn’t even know where you were. And now you’re saying we can’t go see him. Don’t you think that’s going too far?”

“I didn’t know where? And why didn’t I know where?” Mu Feng looked at her, “Wasn’t it because your wonderful daughter secretly gave birth to the child all by herself and didn’t tell anyone? That’s why I didn’t know where they were, right?”

Mother Qin, “..…”

“But it wasn’t entirely Xiao Luan’s fault either.”

“I’m not here today to hold you accountable for what happened back then,” Mu Feng said calmly, “I’m here to talk to you about Qin Cheng. Qin Luan is your daughter, whatever happens to her, I don’t care. But Qin Cheng is my grandson, and there’s no way I’m going to let you bully him.”

“We haven’t!” Mother Qin retorted, “How could we possibly bully him?! He’s our own grandson. We barely have enough time to love him!”

“Your so-called love is looking at him with dissatisfaction and annoyance at his mother’s wedding. It’s trying to please someone who doesn’t even care about you at all, without the slightest regard for your own grandson’s feelings. It’s having known the child for 7 years, only for him to end up feeling unloved by you, to the point where he can’t even say he likes you. Is that what you call love?”

Mu Feng sneered, “Then my grandson doesn’t need it.”

“My grandson doesn’t need that kind of cheap, superficial, and harmful so-called love that’s not even worth showing off.”

“You—!” Father Qin was furious, “Mu Feng, we’ve shown you some respect for Mu Zheng’s sake, but don’t push it too far.”

“Then I’ll absolutely push it too far,” Mu Feng leaned back in his chair, completely unconcerned, “No need to show me respect on Mu Zheng’s account. What kind of face does Mu Zheng even have? When I was out expanding territories, he wasn’t even born yet. Go ask him, ask him if he thinks anyone should give face to his father for his sake. See if he dares say yes.”

Father Qin, “….”

“I admit we were a bit negligent toward Xiao Cheng in the past,” Mother Qin said anxiously, “but that was because we didn’t know who his father was. Xiao Luan cared about him, but he never considered marriage, and we were worried Xiao Luan wouldn’t be able to get married because of it. That’s why we were a bit neglectful of the child. But now that we know he’s Xiao Zheng’s son, we won’t treat him the same as before.”

“Not necessary,” Mu Feng’s eyes were void of emotion, and his voice was cold, “Now that it’s known he’s Mu Zheng’s child, plenty of people want to treat him well, he doesn’t need the two of you.”

“But we’re his biological grandparents.”

“So what? There are plenty of children in this world who grow up without parents, what difference does it make if it’s just grandparents?”

Mu Feng looked at the two people in front of him, who were struggling to accept the situation as if they truly loved their grandson and found it laughable.

Back when Qin Cheng only had his grandparents around, they didn’t love him. Now that he’s surrounded by people who do, suddenly they want to love him, too. As if whether they love him or not is entirely up to them, and Qin Cheng just has to accept it.

Who do they think they are?

“I’m not here to discuss this with you,” Mu Feng said calmly, “I’m just here to inform you.”

“But you’d better understand two things clearly. First, I’ve never been satisfied with Qin Luan as a daughter-in-law, never. I’ve never approved of this marriage. Second, Mu Zheng is not my only child. It’s because I’m willing and I agree that Mu Zheng is the CEO of the Mu Corporation. If I’m not, then that position can go to someone else at any time.”

“You’re welcome to reject this. You can meet Qin Cheng privately, you can go find Mu Zheng, find your daughter, even complain to Qin Cheng about the unfairness of today. But before you do any of that, think carefully about the consequences. What is it that you really want? To be in-laws of the Mu family, to hold the title of the CEO’s in-laws, or to have your daughter newly married and divorced? Or do you just want Mu Zheng as a person?”

“Think it through and then make your decision.”

“Don’t end up with nothing, losing your grandson and failing in everything else, too.”

Father and Mother Qin looked at him, wanting to say something, but Mu Feng no longer cared to listen. He had never been a patient or mild-tempered man. He had said all there was to say.

Mu Feng stood up and left the private room.

Of course, he wouldn’t really strip Mu Zheng of the CEO title just because of those two fools. But he was betting that, compared to their grandson, the Qin parents valued Mu Zheng’s status more, valued the wealth and power behind the Mu family more. So to him, this was a single-choice question.

Qin Cheng was always going to be the one who got abandoned. With grandparents like that, what right did they have to stay in their grandson’s life?

Qin Luan was their daughter, she couldn’t cut ties with her own parents. But Qin Cheng wasn’t. He was his grandson, and he wouldn’t let his grandson be put in such a difficult position. That’s why he chose to have the grandparents remove themselves from the boy’s life.

This way, his grandson would only have to accept the full and abundant love from those who truly loved him.

He wouldn’t have to endure that shallow, conditional “love” from his grandparents anymore.

Mu Feng walked out of the hotel and got into the car.

He leaned back in the rear seat, gestured for his assistant to start driving, and then took out his phone. In a rare move, he made a call to Qin Luan.

Qin Luan was working on a design draft. When she saw his name pop up on the screen, she quickly answered, “Hello?”

“It’s me,” Mu Feng said, “I just met with your parents.”

Qin Luan was surprised. Mu Feng had always been indifferent toward her parents, why would he have met with them today?

“I told them not to show up in front of Xiao Cheng again, not to contact him anymore. Unless Xiao Cheng wants it, they’d best disappear from his world.”

“And now,” Mu Feng said seriously, “I’m telling you, unless Xiao Cheng wants it, you’d better not take him to see them either.”

Qin Luan was momentarily stunned.

“Qin Luan,” Mu Feng continued calmly, “on Saturday, I asked Xiao Cheng a question. I asked him whether his grandparents liked him. Xiao Cheng didn’t answer.”

“He’s known your parents for 7 years. By all accounts, he shouldn’t have hesitated, shouldn’t have fallen silent, and definitely shouldn’t have been unable to answer. But he didn’t respond. That can only mean one thing, he doesn’t feel that your parents love him.”

“I’ve seen how your parents treat him. Even if it was just once, that wasn’t how loving grandparents should act.”

“Do you think your parents love you?” Mu Feng asked her.

Qin Luan fell silent.

Mu Feng understood.

He said, “You’re their daughter, so I won’t interfere.”

“But Qin Cheng is different. I won’t allow my grandson to go through that.”

“If today, it were Mu Shaoting who fell in love with a man, got pregnant before marriage, insisted on keeping the child, and refused to reveal who the father was, I would certainly be angry and dissatisfied with her actions, but I would never allow anyone to look down on her, and even less so her child.”

“Because no matter who the father is, that child is still Shaoting’s child, my grandchild, and a member of the Mu family.”

“That’s what being a parent truly means.”

“Whether you get married or not, and who you marry, none of that is essential. Saying they were worried you wouldn’t be able to marry, and that’s why they resented the child, is just an excuse. If they really cared so much about you, really loved you, then why would they take it out on your child just because you didn’t get married? Why would they blame you for it? Does not being married mean you’re no longer their daughter? Does that make your child no longer their grandson?”

“That’s not a reason, much less a justification for resenting Qin Cheng.”

As Qin Luan listened, tears welled up in her eyes.

All these years, her parents had always been disappointed in her, always resentful, always quick to scold her once they started talking. She had been scolded so much that she came to believe she was in the wrong, always feeling guilty deep down. But she never expected that they would even extend that disappointment to Qin Cheng, believing that his very existence was what held her back.

Qin Luan didn’t want Qin Cheng to think that way, which is why she moved out with him. But she herself had already been affected, always feeling that she wasn’t good enough, that she was at fault, that she had brought shame to her parents. She thought her parents did it all for her own good.

So even though she moved out, she still kept in contact with them, visiting during holidays and trying to please them. She hoped her parents would forgive her. Even more, she hoped they could be good grandparents and stop being biased against her child.

And now, the heavy knot that had been weighing on her heart for so long was finally released.

Because Mu Feng had said, “This is what parents should do.”

He said, “Those are just excuses.”

He was a parent, too, yet what he said was completely different.

Suddenly, Qin Luan felt a sense of relief, as if maybe she wasn’t so unforgivable after all.

“Alright,” she said without hesitation, “Don’t worry. I won’t take him to see them, unless Xiao Cheng brings it up himself. Otherwise, I won’t let them meet.”

Mu Feng was satisfied and was just about to hang up when he heard her say softly, “Thank you.”

“You’re welcome,” Mu Feng replied.

He hung up and returned home.

The Qin elders could never have imagined that Mu Feng hadn’t come to strengthen ties, but to push them away from their grandson.

The two of them were furious, more they thought about it, the angrier they got. And the angrier they became, the harder it was to let go. But what made it worse was that they were genuinely afraid of their in-law, afraid that what he said might actually be true.

And how could it not be?

Back when Mu Zheng and Qin Luan got married, they had asked Mu Zheng to invite his father to discuss the wedding arrangements. Without a second thought, Mu Zheng refused.

He said, “Xiao Luan and I will handle it ourselves.”

They pressed, “But surely we should at least meet your father?”

Mu Zheng said, “No need.”

At that time, they already knew, Mu Feng looked down on them. Even Mu Zheng, his own son, couldn’t do anything about it.

Later, at the wedding, they finally met their in-law, but Mu Feng didn’t show them the slightest warmth.

He had three sons, and he himself didn’t even look that old, Mu Zheng wasn’t his only option. But for them, Mu Zheng was their only option.

Father and Mother Qin were afraid now, timid and resentful, but they couldn’t swallow their pride. So they turned to their son, figuring they could at least call him, after all, Mu Zheng hadn’t said they couldn’t talk to their own son about it. Qin’s mother dialed the phone, ranting with righteous fury, filled with indignation, practically sounding like she wanted to take Mu Feng out and shoot him the next second…

But as Qin Yuan listened, he was simply stunned.

It hadn’t been long since Qin Cheng found out about his background, and yet his grandfather had already stepped in, laying down restrictions on his parents. Truly swift and decisive.

“You tell me, what kind of behavior is that? What kind of grandfather sticks his hands in this deep? Abusing his power! He’s just using his power to bully others!”

“Well,” Qin Yuan said, “if you really can’t accept it, you could go see Xiao Cheng anyway. Worst case, Xiao Luan gets divorced, or Mu Zheng stops being CEO of the Mu Corporation. He still owns shares, so it’s not like Xiao Luan and Xiao Cheng would starve.”

Mother Qin, “????”

What kind of thing was he saying?! Was that the response she wanted from her son?!

“How can that be?! Your sister finally married into such a good family. If she gets divorced, how could she possibly find such a good husband again?!”

“It’s not like I said she’ll definitely get divorced. There’s still the second option, isn’t there?”

“That won’t work either,” Mother objected even more strongly, “Can you really compare having no real power? If he can be the CEO, why give it up?”

Qin Yuan laughed and said, “Then what are you unhappy about?”

“Sure, the old man of the Mu family is a bit forceful in his approach, but didn’t he give you two options? Yet you don’t want this, and you don’t want that. Mu Zheng is important, and his position is even more important. In the end, isn’t the one who doesn’t matter… just Xiao Cheng?”

“That’s not how you should put it,” Mother Qin said quickly.

“That’s exactly how it should be put,” Qin Yuan replied calmly, “You don’t love Xiao Cheng that much. You’re not upset because you might never see your grandson again, you’re upset because you lost face, because you can’t do anything about it, and that’s what’s making you unhappy.”

“But there’s nothing wrong with that. Didn’t the old man from the Mu family say it? He’s only forbidding you from initiating contact. If Xiao Cheng wants to see you, you’ll still get to see him. Everything depends on what Xiao Cheng wants.”

“How can that be?!” Mother Qin said angrily, “Xiao Cheng is just a child. What does he know?! If he doesn’t see us, he naturally won’t think of us. In the end, he still won’t see us!”

“He knows,” Qin Yuan said plainly, “He’s a child, not a stone. He has feelings, he has thoughts, why wouldn’t he know? Just because he doesn’t see someone doesn’t mean he won’t think of them. When he doesn’t see me, he calls me. He asks me when I’m going to visit. Has he ever called you?”

Mother Qin fell silent. She never knew that Qin Cheng had called her son.

“I’ve told you before,” Qin Yuan continued, “I told you not to scold Xiao Luan in front of Xiao Cheng. And not to criticize him behind his back. I also said, don’t let the relatives gossip around him. You thought he didn’t know that he couldn’t hear. But how could he not hear? With so many people talking, once they get used to it, how could he not know?”

“I told you, but you wouldn’t listen. Xiao Du argued with you, and you still didn’t think you were wrong. Well, now look, Xiao Cheng has his own real grandfather now, and his real grandfather is standing up for him. What do you have to be upset about?”

“You didn’t love him enough. So now you’re upset someone else does?”

Mother Qin was incredulous, “Qin Yuan, how can you talk to me like this?! I’m your mother! And everything I’ve done is for your sister’s good!”

“Then is she okay?” Qin Yuan replied, “You scold her, belittle her son, is she okay? You’ve seen it yourself. Do you really think she’s okay?”

Mother Qin, “….”

“Not everything will go the way you want it to.”

Mother Qin had never felt her son’s voice to be so harsh before.

“Originally, when Xiao Luan gave birth to him and raised him on her own, you and Dad should have been the people closest to him after his mother. He gave you 7 years, 7 years, but you didn’t live up to that. So don’t blame others for taking him away from you.”

“At the very least, his grandfather seems to love him more than you do.”

After saying this, Qin Yuan hung up the phone.

He was a son, and the debt of being raised by his parents weighed heavily on him. So he couldn’t be like the Mu family patriarch, forcefully cutting his parents off from Qin Cheng.

In the earlier years, he had also hoped—hoped that his parents could chanGe their mindset and truly love their daughter and their grandson. But later, when he found out that Qin Luan had moved out, he gave up. Qin Luan didn’t come home except during holidays, and Qin Cheng saw their parents less and less. He thought that was for the best, for his nephew, and for his sister.

No matter what the parents did wrong, the child is innocent. No matter what the child did wrong, once you’ve scolded or punished her, you should let it go and protect her properly. Not tear open her wounds again and again, making her cry time after time.

His parents didn’t not love his sister and their grandson, they just loved them in a very limited, very conditional way.

The Qin elders stared at the ended call, feeling hollow inside. They never expected things would turn out like this.

She had thought her son would stand on her side, would help her denounce Mu Feng, instead, her son was denouncing her?! Only now, on this very day, did they realize, it wasn’t just their grandson who had grown distant from them. Their most pride-worthy son wasn’t what they imagined either.

They had thought we are family, blood is thicker than water. Even if we make mistakes, even if we do something wrong, we’ll still be forgiven, and everything will be smoothed over.

But now, they realized, it wasn’t like that.

The things they didn’t care about were things that others did care about. And once enough of those things added up, distance formed. In the end, the buildup turned into cracks that could no longer be smoothed over.

Mother Qin wiped her tears, feeling wronged and bitter.

That night, before going to sleep, Qin Luan sat under the covers and told Mu Zheng about what had happened that afternoon.

Only then did Mu Zheng realize that the reason Mu Feng asked him to set up a meeting with his in-laws was for this.

“I agreed,” Qin Luan said gently, “I was only bringing Xiao Cheng back to visit them during holidays anyway. From now on, there’s no need even for that. If Xiao Cheng wants to see them, he’ll tell me. If he doesn’t say anything, it means he doesn’t want to see them, and there’s no reason to make him.”

Seeing that she had no objections, Mu Zheng had even less. He never had a good impression of his in-laws to begin with.

“Mm,” he responded.

Qin Luan smiled and said, “Mu Zheng, your father… is a really good father.”

Mu Zheng nodded.

His first half of life had gone smoothly, largely thanks to the excellent material conditions his father provided, and the abundant love and gentleness from his mother. Both were indispensable.

“I’ll do my best to be a good father, too,” he said.

Qin Luan responded with a soft “Mm,” and said, “I believe in you.”

After they finished talking, they turned off the lights and lay down under the covers.

Ye Qingxi, now that she had Cotton Candy, couldn’t wait to share the news with Pei Liang and the others when school started on Monday.

Pei Liang said curiously, “Let me see.”

Immediately, Zhong Yan and Kang Cong’s heads also leaned in.

Ye Qingxi raised his hand and showed them a photo stored on her smartwatch.

Cotton Candy was only 2 months old, still round with baby fat, looking like a chubby little puffball. When it walked, its plump body wobbled adorably, so cute it instantly captured the hearts of the three kids.

“So cute! Xiao Xi, can I come to your house to play with it?” Zhong Yan asked eagerly.

Ye Qingxi didn’t say no, “Sure.”

“Then we’re coming, too,” Pei Liang and Kang Cong quickly added.

Ye Qingxi readily agreed, “Sure, all of you can come!”

So that afternoon, when Mu Shaowu came to pick them up, he found his son surrounded by three little kids, all of whom announced they were coming over to his house as guests.

Seeing the smile on Ye Qingxi’s face, Mu Shaowu didn’t hesitate at all and opened the car door, “Hop in, little princes.”

The four little princes quickly got into the car and headed straight to Ye Qingxi’s home.

The kitten, just 2 months old, was at the fearless stage of early kittenhood. Cotton Candy lifted its tiny chin and looked around with its beautiful blue eyes—glancing at one, then another—before finally lying down at Ye Qingxi’s feet and exposing its belly.

Ye Qingxi bent down, patted its little head, and couldn’t resist gently rubbing its belly.

Cotton Candy, with its good temperament, let him pet it peacefully. Afterward, it leapt up and invited Ye Qingxi to play a game of tag.

Ye Qingxi and Pei Liang and the others joined in and played with it happily.

By the time it got dark, and they had to leave, Pei Liang and the others were still reluctant to go.

Ye Qingxi hugged Cotton Candy, waved its little paw at them, and finally saw them off at the door.

The final result of this whole thing was that Pei Liang, Kang Cong, and Zhong Yan all decided they wanted to raise a cat. Not only that, they even stayed up late researching cat breeds.

Pei Liang wanted to raise a Ragdoll cat. Zhong Yan wanted one just like Cotton Candy, a Golden Point. Kang Cong was the pickiest of all. After much deliberation, he decided he wanted to raise a Maine Coon.

“This one’s the biggest, it can grow really big and looks super cool!” Kang Cong said excitedly.

“Great! Then we’ll all have our own cats,” Zhong Yan said happily.

Ye Qingxi was also very happy.

Since he had grown up moving from set to set, he missed out on a lot of group time with friends. So whatever he did with Pei Liang and the others, he found it all really joyful—even fighting.

Yes, in the third week of school, Ye Qingxi proudly got into a fight—a group fight, no less.

The cause was simple. Ye Qingxi and Pei Liang had gone to the restroom together, and someone horsing around nearby bumped into Ye Qingxi, making him stumble forward. His shoe accidentally hit the heel of the classmate in front of him.

He quickly apologized, “Sorry.”

But the other kid wouldn’t accept it and pointed to his shoe, demanding Ye Qingxi pay for it.

Pei Liang looked at the shoe and said speechlessly, “Isn’t the shoe perfectly fine?”

“He stepped on it just now.”

“I didn’t!” Ye Qingxi retorted, “I just bumped into you a little!”

The kid who had bumped into Ye Qingxi earlier immediately chimed in, “He totally stepped on it. I saw it. If he stepped on it, he should pay.”

Ye Qingxi, seeing that the kid even dared to speak, got angry and said, “If you hadn’t bumped into me first, how could I have bumped into him? Then you should compensate me, too, pay for my clothes!”

“And his shoe is perfectly fine. Why should I pay for it? I bumped into him and apologized. But you bumped into me and didn’t even say sorry!”

“Your clothes are fine! Why should I compensate you?!”

“Exactly!” Pei Liang backed him up, “You still haven’t apologized to Xiao Xi! You owe him an apology!”

“I didn’t do it on purpose! He was the one who insisted on walking this way, it’s not like I did it deliberately!”

The group started arguing like that, and by the end, Pei Liang, quick with words, said, “You two, one bumps into someone and doesn’t apologize, the other demands compensation for an untouched shoe, are you two doing this on purpose? Are you trying to scam us?”

He scoffed in frustration, “If you want money, just say so. Bring a bowl and beg, stop trying to scam people!”

That line immediately escalated the conflict.

The kid who had been bumped by Ye Qingxi stepped forward and swung at Pei Liang. Ye Qingxi quickly reached out to block him. The kid who had bumped into Ye Qingxi earlier, along with his two friends, also jumped into the fray, and the fight broke out in full.

A classmate from Ye Qingxi’s class saw what was happening and ran back to the classroom, yelling to Kang Cong, “Kang Cong, Pei Liang and Ye Qingxi are fighting with other kids!”

Kang Cong and Zhong Yan were startled, Kang Cong rolled up his sleeves and bolted out of the room, charging into the fight.

It was four against four, a heated battle, but Ye Qingxi’s side clearly had the upper hand. He wasn’t actually 5-years-old, after all, and wasn’t just blindly throwing punches out of emotion. Ye Qingxi fought with strategy and sense. He had acted in nearly a hundred films, some of which included action scenes, he knew a move or two. Maybe it wasn’t enough to take on an adult, but against a bunch of little kids, he had no problem dominating.

So while Ye Qingxi protected his three friends like a mother hen shielding her chicks, he also threw out light punches at the other side. What could he do? They were all 6 or 7-years-old, he really didn’t dare go all out.

The fight was soon halted by the teacher, alerted by a classmate’s shout, “The teacher’s coming!”

All eight of them were brought to the office. The teacher looked at the group of little rich kids and felt a massive headache coming on.

“He started it,” Pei Liang spoke up first, “We were just… just…”

“Acting in self-defense,” Ye Qingxi prompted him.

“Yes!” Pei Liang said confidently, “We were just defending ourselves.”

The teacher could only turn to the other three boys, “Is that true?”

“He insulted me! Called me a beggar!”

“If you’re not a beggar, then why are you asking someone else to buy you shoes?” Pei Liang argued logically.

“Because he stepped on my shoe!”

“I didn’t,” Ye Qingxi quickly defended himself, “I just bumped into you a little, I didn’t step on you.”

“Sun Hao saw it!”

“Yeah! I saw it!” Sun Hao added.

The group started arguing again.

In the end, Sun Hao said angrily, “Just you wait—I’m calling my mom right now!”

Zhong Yan scoffed, “You think you’re the only one with a mom? I’ll call mine, too!”

Teacher, “…..”

At this school, all the kids came from wealthy or powerful families, they were all little princes and princesses. Even the teachers didn’t dare reprimand anyone too harshly.

Alright then, the teacher thought. Since parents are getting involved, let them deal with it themselves.

“Go back to class for now. We’ll handle things once your parents arrive,” the teacher said helplessly.

Ye Qingxi nodded and led his group of friends out.

Kang Cong slung an arm around Zhong Yan’s shoulder and asked, “You really calling your mom?”

“Of course. If he’s calling his mom, then I’ll call mine, too!”

“Then I’ll call mine as well!” Kang Cong said loyally.

“I’m calling mine, too,” Pei Liang added.

Ye Qingxi, “…..”

Only then did the little group of friends realize, Ye Qingxi seemed to not have a mom.

“No worries,” Zhong Yan said generously, “My mom’s really pretty, she counts for two. If my mom comes, it’s like your mom came, too.”

Ye Qingxi, “????”

What does your mom being pretty have to do with counting as two?! Is there even a logical connection here?!

Pei Liang immediately chimed in, “My mom loves reading, she also counts as two. I’ll lend my mom to you, too. If my mom comes, it’s like your mom came.”

Ye Qingxi, …Does your mom know you’re just lending her out like that?

Kang Cong scratched his head, thinking hard. After a long pause, he finally came up with something, “My mom can eat! She says one of her meals equals three of someone else’s! So don’t worry, Ye Qingxi, if my mom comes, it’s not just like your mom came, it’s like your mom and someone else came, too!”

Ye Qingxi, …Maybe you should just stop talking. Does your mom know you say things like this about her?

Though he was mentally complaining, Ye Qingxi couldn’t help but smile. Looking at his little group of friends, he felt a warm softness in his heart.

“Alright,” he agreed, “then I won’t call anyone.”

“Mm-hmm-hmm!” The three all nodded quickly in response.

Ye Qingxi happily grabbed Pei Liang and Zhong Yan’s hands, swinging them as he walked forward.

But he had only taken two steps when he suddenly stopped, Kang Cong had reached out and tugged him from behind.

Ye Qingxi turned around, and Kang Cong complained, “Ye Qingxi, why are you holding their hands and not mine?”

Ye Qingxi, “????”

Ye Qingxi, “…..”

Author’s Note:

Xiaoxi: How come I am not dressed like an octopus?

Xiaoxi covered Kang Cong’s mouth: Shut up, it will be over if your mom hears you.

Kang Cong: My mom said it herself.

Kang Cong’s mom: I was hungry that day, I just said it casually, who asked you to remember this!

Kang Cong’s mom was furious!
