At this time, Lei Lu finally felt a sense of having moved a rock only to drop it on his own foot. Although he didn’t know the saying, his current mood was full of frustration and helplessness.

He was just wandering around the tribe, and he couldn’t treat his Dad the same way he treated Xiao Kai and Kos and others, or else he would end up getting beaten.

When Lei Lu’s mood remained low, he received a soft and gentle call from his little one, which immediately brought him back to reality. “What’s wrong? Xiao Xiao, do you need me to do something?”

For the first time, Wu Xiaoyin noticed that Lei Lu did not respond promptly to him. For some reason, he felt a bit uncomfortable. “I want you to help me with something. Can you completely crush the giant rice? Of course, using tools.” Then, Wu Xiaoyin drew a larger version of the medicinal mortar with a small burnt wooden stick on a piece of giant sheep skin. He had kept this kind of sketches of tools ever since he drew them before.

Seeing the tool, Lei Lu felt it was not difficult at all. He immediately crafted a larger version of the mortar from leftover stones and crushed the giant rice that Wu Xiaoyin needed. Wu Xiaoyin tried kneading the dough. To his surprise, it really worked? It seemed that everything in this other world couldn’t be judged by common sense!

After kneading the dough, rolling it into strips, and cutting it into small balls, Wu Xiaoyin looked for sticks to use as rolling pins. At this moment, Lei Lu’s role was perfectly displayed, as he used his claws to shape the wood into rolling pins suitable for Xiao Xiao’s use and for his own.

Wu Xiaoyin quickly turned each small ball into dumpling wrappers using the rolling pin, and then he had his Dad and Lei Lu help out. The result was predictable. Lei Lu completely couldn’t manage the high-degree-of-difficulty task of pinching the small dumpling wrapper to make dumplings, so he had to step aside and serve tea and water to Xiao Xiao.

Under Wu Xiaoyin and Xi’s efforts, the dumplings were completed in less than an hour. Lei Yan, who was drawn by the temptation of dumplings, came to join the family for a happy dinner.

Everyone loved the dumplings stuffed with sauerkraut and pickled meat. Lei Lu and Lei Yan even each ate over a hundred dumplings. Each dumpling was as big as double the size of the dumplings Wu Xiaoyin had eaten back on Earth. One couldn’t help but admire the appetites of these two!

The satisfied Xi and Lei Yan took the hats, gloves, and warm bags that Wu Xiaoyin had made earlier.

After cleaning up the dishes, Lei Lu boiled hot water for Xiao Xiao to take a bath in another small room. Wu Xiaoyin, who was soaking in the large wooden tub, was feeling drowsy when he suddenly heard Lei Lu’s somewhat depressed voice, “Xiao Xiao, can you only cook for me next time, okay?”

Hearing Lei Lu’s voice made Wu Xiaoyin understand why his mood had been low all day. The discomfort he had felt from his earlier lack of response vanished. Understanding Lei Lu’s strong possessiveness, he didn’t resist but instead gently replied in line with his words, “Okay, I will cook for you alone from now on, but if Father or Dad or Xiao Kai come over, how about you cook for them?”

Lei Lu happily nodded but then remembered that Xiao Xiao couldn’t see, so he raised his voice a bit and replied, “Okay, from now on, Xiao Xiao will teach me how to cook, then when Father and others come, I’ll cook for them.”

After a long time without hearing Xiao Xiao’s voice, Lei Lu felt a bit worried. He thought of the differences between males and females, but as soon as he remembered Xiao Xiao’s situation, he couldn’t care about those things. He lifted the curtain to see that Xiao Xiao had already fallen asleep in the bath.
