Xiao Kai heard Wu Xiaoyin’s call and was about to speak, but Bin noticed Wu Xiaoyin’s careful footsteps and saw his eyes fixed on the giant squirrel not far ahead. He immediately knew what to do, quickly covering Xiao Kai’s mouth and pointing at the giant squirrel ahead. Once he confirmed that Xiao Kai had seen it, he lowered his hand.

So under the guidance of the giant squirrel, Wu Xiaoyin and the others arrived at the giant squirrel’s tree hole. Inside, they saw it stuffed with various nuts and fruits, along with a large portion made up of the giant rice that the giant squirrel had just been holding.

Wu Xiaoyin confirmed that it was indeed giant rice, but Xiao Kai and Bin remained puzzled, only following Wu Xiaoyin since they felt he was always right. Xiao Kai immediately expressed his confusion. He lowered his voice and asked, “Xiao Xiao, why did we follow this giant squirrel here?”

Wu Xiaoyin carefully watched the giant squirrel’s movements. When the squirrel dropped the giant rice into the tree hole and turned around, he quickly pulled Xiao Kai and Bin behind a large tree that could completely conceal them. Then he replied to Xiao Kai, “The giant rice the squirrel was holding is indeed rice, but it’s at least ten times larger than the rice on Earth. That’s why we followed the giant squirrel. It is to find out where this giant rice comes from.”

Upon hearing the words “giant rice”, Xiao Kai nearly exclaimed, but luckily Bin covered his mouth just in time. Xiao Kai gasped, almost choking. He shot a glare at Bin and pushed his hand away, then whispered, “Let’s hurry up and follow it, or we’ll lose track of the giant squirrel.”

While Lei Lu, Kos, and Feng were anxiously searching for Wu Xiaoyin and the others, they spotted the comical sight of three little female following a giant squirrel with their little bottoms sticking out.

However, how could they allow other males to see their adorable females like that? The three males unanimously grabbed their females. Wu Xiaoyin and the others were startled, but seeing the already darkened faces of the males, they realized they had crossed a line. Earlier when they were picking fruit, they were still within the males’ line of sight, but in the blink of an eye, they had lost track of the little females. How could they not be anxious? Their expressions were grim now.

Lei Lu spoke in a deep voice while holding Xiao Xiao in his arms, “How did you end up here? Didn’t you know I’d be worried? Xiao Xiao, hmm?”

Startled by the prolonged “hmm”, Wu Xiaoyin felt a shiver of fear. He knew it was his fault, so he softened his tone and said, “We saw this giant squirrel holding the rice we were looking for, so we ran out of your sight. I didn’t mean to. Please don’t be angry, okay?”

Hearing his soft and charming voice was rare, and Lei Lu felt secretly happy, but his stern face didn’t match his inner joy. He spoke sternly, “Even so, you should have told me. I would have taken you to find it. You three females know nothing in this unfamiliar forest. What if a wild beast suddenly appears and we’re not around? What will you do?”

Listening to Lei Lu’s lengthy scolding, Wu Xiaoyin felt both surprised and warmed by his concern. It was that feeling that someone in the world always centered around you, with their gaze focused on you. He couldn’t help but reach out to touch Lei Lu’s face. He comforted him and made a promise, “Lei Lu, I should have considered this better. I should have told you first, and then we could have looked for the giant rice together. I promise it won’t happen again, okay?”

Lei Lu’s response was to hold Xiao Xiao tightly. He remained silent for a long time.
