Carrying the giant red fruits, Wu Xiaoyin returned to the cave. His arms were very tired after struggling with the weight.

Lei Lu noticed the little female’s gaze. He placed Xiao Xiao on the giant cow skin next to the firepit and picked up the stone pot. Then, he washed it in the water-filled stone basin and poured water into it using the stone jar. He hung the pot on some flexible vines stretched between tree branches over the fire pit. While waiting for the water to boil, he cleaned the prey and the giant cabbage.

When Lei Lu was about to process the cabbage, the little female’s hands reached out. He slowly tore the cabbage into pieces and placed them in the stone pot.

Lei Lu did not stop Wu Xiaoyin’s actions, not only because it was what Xiao Xiao wanted to do, but also because this simple task gave Lei Lu a strange sense of satisfaction, as if they were doing something together as husband and wife. Especially when Lei Lu hugged Wu Xiaoyin while they drank the soup. The usually unappetizing soft cabbage tasted a bit sweet.

Wu Xiaoyin just assumed that there was only one set of tableware in the home since Lei Lu usually cooked and ate alone. He did not realize how intimate their relationship had become. Lei Lu, on the other hand, wished he could always hold Wu Xiaoyin while eating and sleeping until they returned to the embrace of the Beast God.

While drinking the soup, Wu Xiaoyin quietly wondered if the diet on the beastman continent was really limited to this level. Lei Lu seemed to eat meat for all three meals, although the meats were different. And when eating at Xi’s house today, Xi seemed to only add some of giant vegetables to the meat soup, or it could be pure vegetables soup. Aside from that, there was nothing else.

He did not notice any cooking utensils for stir- frying or steaming vegetables, only a few stone pots and a fire pit. If this was the case, changing the diet would be really urgent! The two of them finished their dinner in a peaceful atmosphere. Once Lei Lu was done tidying up, he divided the remaining giant red fruits into smaller pieces for Xiao Xiao to eat. He carried him to the giant rabbit skin and fed him a few pieces. Seeing that his belly was full, he decided to finish the rest himself, even though he did not particularly like fruits.

He then gently massaged Xiao Xiao’s belly and watched as he slowly closed his eyes. After that, Lei Lu fetched water and washed his face, hands, and feet, kneading and rubbing him in various ways until he was satisfied.

The next day, when Wu Xiaoyin opened his eyes, he began learning the common language of the beastman continent. He wanted to avoid the situation of not understanding others and also learn more about the diet. Communicating was the simplest method.
