Thankfully, Lei Li shielded him from their gazes. Lei Lu scanned the crowd with a fierce look to ensure no one lingered too long on him.

Since last year, with the establishment of animal breeding and farming, the tribe’s living standards had improved by a lot. Watching the rosy-faced tribe members around him, Wu Xiaoyin couldn’t help but grumble about how everyone else could feel the effect of eating while he remained unchanged despite eating so many delicious food. He watched as Kos tried his best to keep up, warning Xiao Kai to slow down, while Xiao Kai playfully sped ahead, contrasting with Kos’s cautious look. Kos’s miserable expression looked funny.

Lei Lu’s gaze was fixated on Xiao Xiao. Seeing his eyes wandering towards others, he couldn’t stand it. He subtly claimed his territory and rubbed Xiao Xiao’s waist ambiguously. He thought that Xiao Xiao’s body was almost recovered, except for the weight that hadn’t increased yet. After consulting the priest, he learned that his nighttime activities were normal. Kola translated: “Uncle Xiao Xiao, Lei Dian wants honey-roasted meat and secret grilled fish.”

Lei Huo: “Awooo—”

Kola translated: “Uncle Xiao Xiao, Lei Huo wants sweet and sour pork tenderloin, sauced grilled meat, and steamed silverfish eggs.”

Wu You: “Awooo!”

Kola translated: “Uncle Xiao Xiao, Wu You wants to eat grilled meat on slab stones, potato stew, shredded pork with fish sauce, um… and roasted bird eggs.”

Lei Dian: “Awooo!” (Bad Kola! I only wanted honey-roasted meat. The secret grilled fish is what you want.)

Lei Huo: “Umm, awoooo!” (Stinky Kola! I wanted pan-fried little yellow fish and steamed silverfish eggs. The sweet and sour pork and sauced grilled meat were your additions!)

Wu You: “Awooo!” (You bad and stinky Kola! I wanted roasted bird eggs and honey-roasted meat. Why didn’t you repeat the honey-roasted meat?)

With the cubs’ relentless demands and disagreement, a heated fight of one against three happened. The post-meal activities were abandoned. Lei Lu took Xiao Xiao in his arms and retreated. Kos urged Xiao Kai to leave before they couldn’t get away. After all, pregnant females had privileges of  eating and taking whatever they wanted, and Kos would have to bear the consequences if Xiao Kai didn’t finish the food!

In the end, only Bin and Feng remained to clean up the mess. They dragged the four tired cubs back to the tribe.

It was the first time the three cubs had not spent the night at home. They were worried that their dad didn’t want them anymore because they eat too much, so they pitifully waited at their friend Kola’s house, wondering when their dad would come to take them back.

Meanwhile, Lei Lu and Wu Xiaoyin enjoyed a rare moment of peace together. But it was Lei Lu who truly enjoyed the whole experience, because after enjoying both the gentle rain and torrential downpours, Wu Xiaoyin was now dealing with the unspeakable aftermath.
