“Do you think we have a feud?” Seeing Shang Qinghui’s persistence, Bian Yingning asked directly, not noticing that her voice had become hoarse.

Shang Qinghui, still slightly dazed, tilted her head, looking at Bian Yingning. Her brow furrowed deeper as she seemed to recall something.

“Bad woman!”

This was what Shang Qinghui said after a minute of thought.

Bian Yingning was startled.

Shang Qinghui, as if agreeing with herself, shouted again, “Bad woman!”

Bian Yingning almost laughed.

She lowered her head, her forehead against Shang Qinghui’s. The light above cast a shadow over them. Shang Qinghui saw Bian Yingning’s face inches away, feeling her breath on her skin.

Bian Yingning’s eyelashes fluttered like cicada wings, her voice soft as she asked, “Why am I a bad woman?”

“Bad women don’t admit they’re bad!” Shang Qinghui declared.

Bian Yingning gritted her teeth, “Fine, I’m a bad woman.”

The next moment, she moved her chin, biting Shang Qinghui’s nose.

Shang Qinghui reacted instantly, feeling the wetness on her nose. She pushed Bian Yingning away, “My nose? Get away! Let go of my nose!”

Shang Qinghui had never been treated like this.

Who argues by biting someone’s nose?

“You’re a sore loser…” But no matter how much Shang Qinghui pushed, Bian Yingning wouldn’t let go. The harder Shang Qinghui struggled, the tighter Bian Yingning’s grip became.

Shang Qinghui couldn’t escape; fearing her nose would be bitten off, her eyes welled up, “Let go…”

Only when Shang Qinghui started whimpering did Bian Yingning release her. Shang Qinghui’s nose was pink, with a bite mark.

Staring at Shang Qinghui for a few seconds, Bian Yingning pulled her into her arms, whispering in her ear, “Call me that again, and I’ll bite your nose off.”

Shang Qinghui touched her nose. It was still there; she was relieved.

“You’re a bad woman! A terrible bad woman!” With her nose intact, Shang Qinghui felt emboldened, stomping her feet and trying to step on Bian Yingning.

“Hiss…” Bian Yingning was caught off guard, though it wasn’t painful, her dignity was hurt.

“Now you’re not only cursing but also stomping on people?” She hadn’t been like this when she was drunk last time. Why so aggressive now?

Shang Qinghui, realizing Bian Yingning was annoyed, used her lower body, ignoring Bian Yingning’s words. Her stubborn nature made her continue stomping on Bian Yingning.

“Stomp the bad woman! For betraying me! For being introverted and shy! For being so capable!”

Bian Yingning held her tightly, fearing she would fall. But Shang Qinghui wasn’t worried about falling; she was like a disturbed hornet’s nest, shouting slogans.

Bian Yingning dodged a few times, but eventually got angry.

“I’m bad? Is that what this is?”

Bian Yingning pinched Shang Qinghui’s face, making her look at her, pulling her against the wall.

“You don’t know how bad women can be,” Bian Yingning said, meeting Shang Qinghui’s dark eyes.

Bian Yingning smirked, “Someone like you, a drunk bun, would be eaten whole.”

She was drunk. Completely drunk.

This thought fueled Bian Yingning’s inner demons.

“Me? A bun?”

Shang Qinghui blinked.

“You. A bun.”

Bian Yingning confirmed.

“???”

But Shang Qinghui didn’t need confirmation.

After a moment, Shang Qinghui reacted, shouting, “You’re the bun!”

She lunged at Bian Yingning, her small fists raining down on Bian Yingning, hitting and pulling.

“I’m cute, pretty, and have a great figure, and you call me a bun! You’re the bad woman! You and your whole family are buns! Buns without filling!”

…

Buns without filling… are steamed buns?

Silly child.

Because of the winter clothes, Shang Qinghui’s punches were more like tickling.

“Is this post-drinking domestic violence?” Bian Yingning, holding her, pondered.

Before Bian Yingning reacted, Shang Qinghui, who had been hitting her, stopped, tired. Leaning against the wall, she confidently put her hands on her hips, “Do you know you’re wrong? Apologize and beg for forgiveness. I might let you go.”

So naive.

Bian Yingning looked at her; a wild beast inside her wanted to break free.

She thought she should leave. She had chosen to let Shang Qinghui start anew, yet Shang Qinghui had come back into her life, making her look foolish.

Bian Yingning released her and stepped back.

Without Bian Yingning holding her, Shang Qinghui swayed. Bian Yingning stopped, allowing Shang Qinghui to steady herself against the wall before moving forward.

“What… what are you doing?” Shang Qinghui blinked, watching Bian Yingning retreat.

Was she creating distance to kick her?

Bian Yingning sighed, trying to keep her voice steady, “Go home.”

Then, she turned and left.

Shang Qinghui stared at her back, then suddenly rushed forward, like a small cannonball, wrapping her arms around Bian Yingning’s neck in a headlock.

“What’s the meaning of this? You want to run after biting me?”

Bian Yingning was forced backward, losing her balance. Shang Qinghui was also unsteady; they swayed in the small restroom.

The bodyguards outside must have heard Shang Qinghui; they rushed in.

…

They saw Shang Qinghui, who they thought was in danger, holding a familiar girl, seemingly assaulting her.

“Help… help me…” Bian Yingning pulled Shang Qinghui’s arm, reaching for the bodyguards.

“Get out!” Shang Qinghui shouted.

So powerful.

The bodyguards exchanged glances and left.

Bian Yingning: “…”

“Hmph, no one can save you.”

Shang Qinghui, mimicking Bian Yingning, whispered in her ear.

Karma.

Warm breath on Bian Yingning’s ear made her soften.

“But… you’re the one who hit me.”

Before Shang Qinghui could react, a hand reached under her clothes, tickling her stomach.

It was cold and itchy; goosebumps appeared.

She couldn’t help but curl up, wanting to laugh.

The next moment, the person who had been holding her let go. She was lifted by the collar; her ear hurt; hot breath made her tremble.

“No one can save you now.”

A low, dangerous voice.

She had planned to let her go, but Shang Qinghui came back. And it was her bodyguards who hadn’t taken her away; if anything happened, it wasn’t Bian Yingning’s fault.

Shang Qinghui’s earlobe was gently bitten; she felt a thrill. She slumped into Bian Yingning’s arms, “Mm… itchy.”

She was dazed, her eyes closed, only aware of the hot breath of the bad woman.

She wanted more.

“Where’s it itchy?”

A soft voice, clear because it was close to her ear.

Shang Qinghui’s heart felt empty and suspended. One moment she was fighting, the next she was lost in a new sensation.

“Here…”

“Mm?”

“You’re so clumsy,” Shang Qinghui said, placing Bian Yingning’s hand on her left breast.

Her heart beat fast, sending tingles through her body.

Bian Yingning paused.

Soft peaks were in her hand.

But the clothes were thick.

“You’re not serious.”

“Serious?”

Shang Qinghui, her mind muddled, didn’t understand.

A wet tongue trailed down her earlobe, across her neck, like a snake exploring its territory.

The familiar scent of roses filled the air.

A spot was chosen; hair was lifted; she bit and gnawed, teeth scraping against the skin, a thrill between lips, tongue, and flesh.

Bian Yingning thought that getting to know each other again was an option.

She didn’t need to know what had happened before. Getting to know each other again might be a good choice.

She didn’t need to feel guilty about her actions or be imprisoned by the darkness of the past.

She was new, and she would get to know Shang Qinghui anew.

“Are… are you a vampire?”

A hesitant question broke Bian Yingning’s thoughts.

“…It’s not itchy anymore?”

Did only she feel this way?

“That’s how it’s shown on TV. When night falls, vampires appear.

They find the prettiest, cutest, most delicate people as prey, biting their necks, sucking their blood, and turning them into vampires!”

It was itchy, but this guess was more important.

“Will I become an immortal, beautiful, elegant vampire?”

Bian Yingning looked up; Shang Qinghui’s eyes shone with anticipation.

“…No, you’ll become a mummy,” Bian Yingning said, smiling broadly.

The anticipation on Shang Qinghui’s face froze; the light in her eyes died out.

“Help…!”

A scream was cut short by lips and tongue.

She stared blankly, feeling the wet, hot sensation.

Then came fierce biting and sucking.
