Let me know what you think! Rate and comment if you liked it, otherwise, no worries."

Bian Yingning comfortably crossed her legs, her toes tapping lightly in the air.

She leaned lazily against the back of the chair, her injured hand extended to the side, allowing the pouting Shang Qinghui to carefully blow on it.

Shang Qinghui’s face was full of reluctance, her muddled mind only containing a simple equation:

Who bit her+ I bit her = so I should take responsibility.

Blowing on it, was there a problem? No problem.

…Well, not entirely—blowing was tiring.

After blowing for a while, Shang Qinghui’s cheeks ached, so she started slacking off.

Feeling the warm, moist breath disappear, Bian Yingning felt a sharp pain in her wound, whether it was her imagination or not.

“Why did you stop?!” Bian Yingning asked fiercely.

Shang Qinghui’s eyes were full of innocent pity. She tapped her cheek with her knuckles, “I’m tired…”

Seeing the bite mark on her face, Bian Yingning felt guilty.

“Fine.”

She silently retracted her hand, thinking whether she should get a band-aid, and gently touched her chin.

Ouch, it must be broken.

Her smooth, small hand touched the cool skin, sending a shiver down her leg and to her heart.

“What are you doing?!” Bian Yingning, still lost in thought, suddenly shuddered violently and threw away the hand that had somehow found its way onto her leg.

Shang Qinghui frowned at her, showing no embarrassment at being caught. Bian Yingning was momentarily distracted, thinking she had seen the curled edges of the bun again.

“Bian Yingning.”

“Speak!” She wanted to see what explanation she had for her indecent behavior.

“Just now, at the bar, I was sitting there, and I saw a woman sitting a little further away from me, and her hand was actually under my friend’s skirt…”

Shang Qinghui, lost in her memories, mumbled.

“…”

She didn’t know why she was telling Bian Yingning this. Tonight’s sights and sounds made her want to discuss them with someone.

Otherwise, it felt like she had a cat clawing at her heart.

If she were sober, she might have kept these thoughts to herself, but unfortunately, her brain was like mush, her head felt heavy, and her heart felt like it was floating, making her feel lightheaded.

Usually, she would discuss interesting things with her friends, but now… this was about her friend, and she didn’t know who to tell.

Most importantly, her friend seemed to have a… “it wasn’t her first time with a woman” kind of feeling.

While not exactly commonplace, she wasn’t particularly surprised, and even seemed to enjoy it.

Her friend’s expression at the time… was a mixture of indulgence and restraint.

The driver in front had thoughtfully turned on the music.

“What does that have to do with you touching my leg?” Bian Yingning looked at Shang Qinghui, who was looking down, puzzled.

“Bian Yingning, do you think… two women doing that… would be satisfying?” Shang Qinghui asked hesitantly, looking at Bian Yingning intently.

Under her innocent gaze, Bian Yingning held her breath, then swallowed.

Thump—thump—thump—

Damn, whose heartbeat was so loud? Could they control it a bit?

Bian Yingning covered her rapidly beating chest.

She thought she might be drunk too.

Things she had never thought about before were now buzzing in her head like a disturbed hornet’s nest.

“You’re drunk.” Bian Yingning said softly.

Shang Qinghui tilted her head, her pouting lips never going down. She looked ahead, “Maybe.”

Perhaps tonight, everyone was drunk.

…

Idealism says it’s not the flag moving, not the wind moving, but the heart moving.

When you don’t see something, you think it doesn’t exist. When you see it, you recognize it and begin to acknowledge it.

The fact is, it always existed, always definitely existed.

…

“Miss, we’ve arrived at the Shang residence.” The driver’s gentle reminder brought Bian Yingning back from a half-sleep. Looking to the side, she saw they had arrived at the Shang family villa, with lights still on inside.

Bian Yingning hadn’t drunk much, and she was mostly sober now, her mind clear but her body unresponsive, and she felt exhausted.

She looked to the side, Shang Qinghui had fallen asleep at some point.

Her hair was messy, and a large, not-quite-faded bite mark was across her pink face.

“This…”

Sending her back like this wouldn’t do.

But what else could I do?

Bian Yingning reached out and brushed Shang Qinghui’s hair.

Well, although her hair looked like a broom, it felt quite soft.

“Go ring the doorbell,” Bian Yingning told the driver, while supporting the boneless Shang Qinghui.

“Wake up, we’re home.”

Shang Qinghui didn’t even hum, swaying like a puddle of mud, accidentally falling into Bian Yingning’s arms.

Bian Yingning, whose chest hurt from the impact and couldn’t get out of the car, got angry.

She got out of the car first, prepared herself, and then carried Shang Qinghui out like a sack of potatoes.

When the Shang family’s servant opened the door, they saw Miss Bian, her shoes kicked off, her long legs bare, huffing and puffing as she carried their Miss over.

“…”

Outsiders might think she was unloading cargo at the docks.

“Here, take your Miss,” Bian Yingning handed Shang Qinghui to the Shang family’s people, brushed her hair, and waved her hand generously, “Don’t thank me.”

Then she went to the car door, picked up her shoes, got in, slammed the door shut, and drove away.

Shang Qinghui, leaning on the servant, lifted her eyelids and fell back asleep.

…

Returning home with the smell of alcohol, Auntie Zhuo respectfully welcomed Bian Yingning in, her face showing displeasure.

While helping Bian Yingning change her shoes, she reminded her, “Miss, your phone seems to be ringing.”

Bian Yingning listened carefully, and it was indeed ringing.

She walked towards her room, taking out her phone.

Auntie Zhuo followed her, afraid she would fall, and asked, “Should I prepare bath water for you, Miss?”

Bian Yingning replied, “Auntie Zhuo, have you locked your room?”

Auntie Zhuo: “…”

Bian Yingning returned to her room, took out her phone, and saw many missed calls and messages from Hua Cancan.

Lying on the bed, feeling dizzy, she casually called her back. The moment the call connected, Bian Yingning moved the phone away from her ear.

Sure enough, Hua Cancan’s furious roar came from the other end, “I’m so angry! I’m so angry!”

Bian Yingning asked with concern, “What happened? I called you just now, and you… you didn’t answer.”

“You dare ask? Where did you go? Why didn’t you come to save me?!” Hua Cancan exploded again.

Bian Yingning could imagine her jumping and throwing pillows at the bed, “I, I went to the restroom, what happened?”

A shot in the dark, pretending she knew nothing.

Hua Cancan, having vented her anger, finally calmed down, “I’m really done…”

…

She had been having fun at the party when someone came in and said someone was looking for her at the entrance. Hua Cancan went out without thinking.

As soon as she got to the entrance, she saw Hua Jiangrong with her back to her. She didn’t know what would happen next, thinking she had come to find her.

She simply followed her to a corner, and the first thing Hua Jiangrong said was to ask if she knew she was wrong.

Wrong? Even if she knew, she wouldn’t admit it.

“Hua Cancan, how old are you? Do you think you’re still a child? Do you know what kind of party this is?”

“I just came to have fun…”

“Have fun? All falls begin with a little approach, and then it’s irreversible. Use your brain, is this the place you should be?”

“It’s none of your business, you have no right to interfere with my life!”

The two argued, Hua Cancan had drunk and lost control, and then…

“Then, she actually had two bodyguards use towels to cover my mouth and handcuffed me and dragged me back! Can you believe it?!

She planned it, you know? You understand! Otherwise, who would bring towels and handcuffs to a bar? She had already planned to bring me back!”

Hua Cancan touched her butt, swearing that she and Hua Jiangrong would be enemies for life!

“What kind of aunt treats her niece like that? I’m done, aaaaaaaa…” Hua Cancan went crazy on the phone.

Bian Yingning listened with her eyes closed, and when she calmed down, she slowly asked:

“If… if you didn’t have this aunt, would you be happy?”

“If I didn’t… of course I would…” The rest of the words were stuck in her throat.

If her world didn’t have Hua Jiangrong, would she be happy?

Hua Cancan stared out the window in a daze.

Her parents were always busy, her mother was soft-hearted and couldn’t control her. Hua Jiangrong was more than ten years older than her, and most of the time, only the two of them were at home.

Hua Jiangrong had taken care of her since she was a child.

In a way, Hua Jiangrong watched her grow up.

When she was in kindergarten, the person who sent her to school and picked her up was never her parents, but Hua Jiangrong, who was in high school.

She looked forward to school dismissal because her aunt would pick her up with snacks, sometimes a pastry, sometimes a new milk drink, and they would eat and go home together.

When she started elementary school, Hua Jiangrong entered film school but still often came home to help her with her homework.

In middle school, during her rebellious phase, Hua Jiangrong started appearing on TV and became busy like her parents.

Middle school classes were harder, and she knew more people. Everyone was at an age where they had ideas but were fearless. No one helped her with her homework, and no one picked her up from school.

She and Hua Jiangrong changed.

Bian Yingning didn’t wait for Hua Cancan’s reply, and the call ended at some point.

She was sleepy, but suddenly couldn’t sleep.

She sat up, leaned against the headboard, and covered her aching forehead.

The male lead’s dominance began with the weakest Hua family, gradually infiltrating the Shang family.
