“If you can’t remember for a day, I’ll teach you for a day.”

Ignoring Shiliu’s shocked and embarrassed expression, he rubbed his fingertips over her lower lip, marked with bite marks, and laughed heartly.

No further threats were needed. Li Xuanci merely leaned forward slightly, blocking most of the light and casting a shadow over her eyes, like an eagle soaring in the sky targeting its prey on the ground.

Shiliu couldn’t help but retreat, feeling as if a spider were crawling down her spine, her whole body trembling.

Li Xuanci watched intently as Shiliu clumsily moved back, not making the slightest move to stop her, even wearing a somewhat arrogant smile as he waited to see how she would struggle.

Just as Shiliu, shrinking back, was about to escape his control, Li Xuanci struck like lightning, seizing her ankle. Instantly, Shiliu’s waist gave way, and she collapsed onto the bed.

Panicked and seeing no way out, Shiliu rolled sideways, caterpillar-like, lifting her bottom to crawl away, but Li Xuanci stepped on her ankle, pinning her firmly in place.

Then, a body radiating heat pressed down on Shiliu’s vulnerable spine. One of his hands reached around to the front, enveloping that soft, small bre*st in his palm without any mercy. The scorching temperature, separated only by a thin layer of clothing, kneaded and toyed with the tiny mound.

Shiliu trembled and cried out, but the unfamiliar sob in her own voice made her ears burn with shame the moment it escaped. She quickly bit her lip, finally unable to bear it and begging him, “Your Highness…”

The moment those two words left her mouth, Li Xuanci bit the nape of her neck from behind, his teeth sinking deeply into her flesh, dangerously grinding against the throbbing blood vessel.

“Call me what?”

His scorching breath rushed into Shiliu’s black hair, his body pressing down on her slender spine without a single gap, leaving only her delicate shoulder blades rubbing against his chest, like a cat’s claws scratching, making one’s heart itch.

Shiliu didn’t understand what he meant, so she called out again, “Your Highness.”

In return, Li Xuanci subjected her tender neck to wanton and erotic torment.

“Wrong.” He only taught her this much.

Li Xuanci practically treated Shiliu’s body as prey in his mouth, biting down hard on the nape of her neck, his tongue slowly sucking over her skin, leaving a wet trail.

Not enough. He sucked the fair skin until red marks appeared, like pure lilies bearing wounds, leaving behind ambiguous crimson.

His tongue traced a path downward until it met the thin, soft fabric of her collar, concealing her delicate flesh. But Li Xuanci was utterly unscrupulous, using just the tip of his tongue to part the clothing, his wet, hot tongue piercing through, licking the fine hollow of her shoulder.

It was just licking. She was still clothed, yet it made Shiliu feel as if she were being stripped bare, completely naked and at his mercy.

She finally grew truly panicked. In her Shiliu years of life, she had never experienced such intimacy with anyone.

Her master had held her; her senior brothers had held her too. But no one’s body temperature had ever burned so fiercely it flustered her heart. No one had ever so wantonly tasted the flavor of her body.

Shiliu struggled beneath him, lying prone on the bed, most of her black hair cascading loose, winding over the wrinkled sheets, mingling with her suppressed, burning, and sticky breath. Every inhale and exhale was filled with ambiguous breath.

Pinned beneath him, she still squirmed, trying to escape. Li Xuanci arrogantly used his leg to press down on the back of her knee, and Shiliu became like a fish with its tail pinned. No matter how she thrashed, she couldn’t get away.

“What should you call me?” Li Xuanci’s breath brushed against the back of her ear, both coaxing and threatening.

Shiliu felt like crying but couldn’t. Her mind was a complete muddle, and she still had to fight against the unfamiliar surges of emotion welling up inside her. She could only soften her spine and try to save face.

“Ancestor, have mercy on me, ancestor.”

All sorts of nonsense spilled out.

“Still wrong.” His voice held danger.

“Call me brother.” His voice lowered, slightly hoarse, like warm sand at night.

Shiliu’s ears turned red. However inexperienced she was, she knew there was no reason to call someone “brother” for no cause.

Li Xuanci bullied her, tormented her—she could understand that, could accept it. He was simply a born villain, unable to tolerate any disobedience or neglect. Her pride wasn’t valuable, her backbone wasn’t stiff; she could bend and stretch, not letting anything weigh on her heart.

But it was precisely this—coaxing her to call him “brother” right by her ear—that made Shiliu feel truly ashamed.

This was different. Shiliu knew in her heart, even as foolish as she was, she knew this was different.

She clenched her lips tightly, refusing to make a sound.

Li Xuanci raised an eyebrow. Instead of getting angry, a hint of a smile surfaced.

Found it.

The foolish rabbit’s weakness.

The more Shiliu bit her lip, the more leisurely he tormented her.

The hand pressed against her front began kneading her tender bre*sts with a pressure that was both heavy and light. The heat from his palm, even through the layer of clothing, made her chest flutter with panic.

Not to mention his fingernails scraping against her ni*ples, making the little peaks stand up against the soft fabric. The flesh of her bre*sts was squeezed out of shape, grinding fiercely against his palm.

Shiliu’s legs kicked like a live fish, thrashing wildly in his embrace, finally earning a light laugh from Li Xuanci.

He flipped Shiliu over, his eyes devoid of any leniency, his hands about to tear her clothes.

Those pitch-black eyes made Shiliu feel genuine fear more than anything else.

His hand reached out, casting a shadow before her eyes.

Just before he touched her, Shiliu finally couldn’t hold back and burst into tears. She cried like a child, squeezing her eyes shut, furrowing her brows—not pretty at all, but utterly sincere.

Large teardrops fell from her eyes, glinting with fragmented light, tracing shiny wet paths down her cheeks.

She cried so hard she could barely catch her breath, hiccupping and gasping brokenly.

“You… you bully me. We’re… we’re bound by fate, and you still bully me.”

In such a moment, she childishly tried to reason with him.

Watching the utterly heartbroken Shiliu, a purely primal pleasure surged up Li Xuanci’s spine.

So stupid.

Such a foolish person, crying so unattractively, so laughably.

But it was the first time he had truly broken her spirit, made her cry, made her yield, made her reveal vulnerability and helplessness beneath him.

His desire for conquest roared through his veins, crashing recklessly, even making his temples throb.

“Fine, don’t call out.” He heard himself say.

“Stick out your tongue.”

He ought to collect some interest and leave a mark, he thought.

After all, this was prey that belonged to him alone.
