The Movie Queen Always Wants to Kiss Me - Chapter 14 – I’m A Big Fan of Yours
But if she did that, would those clear, water-like eyes, after the initial surprise, show disappointment, disgust, or even revulsion? Would she think Cheng Muye was a pervert and want nothing more than to push her away?
Thinking this, Cheng Muye felt a flicker of hesitation. She withdrew her lewd gaze, glanced at the stains on Tang Anhe’s clothes, and changed the subject. “You said you wanted to swap clothes with me, so why did you run off halfway? Running around in this stained outfit… aren’t you worried it’ll ruin your image as a top actress?”
“Oh, right.” Tang Anhe finally remembered her clothes were still dirty and needed changing. She grabbed Cheng Muye’s hand and headed toward the van, saying as she went, “Let’s hurry, the actor should be arriving soon.”
Still thinking about the actor?
Cheng Muye snorted inwardly, forcing a calm expression on her face.
The two of them walked toward the van, but before they reached it, Song Qiluo called out. Handing Tang Anhe the wedding attire, her voice carried a hint of reproach. “I saw your clothes got dirty earlier. Put on the wedding outfit first.”
Tang Anhe took it with a silly smile, glanced at Cheng Muye, and then turned back to Song Qiluo. “Okay, Sis. You go ahead and handle your work. I’ll change in the car.”
Cheng Muye followed, intending to accompany her, but Song Qiluo stopped her. “Xiao Cheng, come with me for a moment.”
It was clear she didn’t want her to follow.
Was she being cautious? Or had she started to suspect something about her?
Cheng Muye’s heart skipped a beat. Fearing she might notice, she stopped and followed her.
The two of them walked to a spot about five or six meters away from the van. Song Qiluo spoke first, her tone measured. “Xiao Cheng, now that you’re Anhe’s bodyguard, and a girl yourself, I’ve noticed how close you two are. Anhe relies on you a lot, so there are a few things I need to discuss with you.”
Cheng Muye’s heart thumped, but her expression remained calm. She lowered her voice and replied, “Yes, Sister Song. Please go ahead.”
Song Qiluo nodded, her tone growing serious. “People always say a young girl’s feelings are poetic. Anhe is at that age when love is just beginning, and she’s far too innocent. I’m worried she might make mistakes. This entertainment world, for all its glitter and glamour, is full of hidden dangers. One careless step, and she could easily be criticized or taken advantage of.”
“Sister Song, I already know all that,” Cheng Muye said.
“She doesn’t know much about Actor Zheng Ye, genuine feelings are out of the question, but her admiration is real. When he arrives, keep a close eye on her. Don’t let her do anything foolish.”
“Hmmm. I understand.” Cheng Muye replied.
Song Qiluo seemed satisfied with her answer and nodded. After a brief pause, she added, “It’s not just about watching over her today. After the diamond commercial shoot, Zheng Ye, as an investor, will host a small party. Keep an eye on her there too. Don’t let her drink, and don’t let her get too close to him.”
So there was that layer of concern as well.
However, it did align with her own intentions.
Cheng Muye felt a subtle thrill of satisfaction, and a faint note of delight slipped into her calm voice. “I understand. Don’t worry, Sister Song. I’ll take care of it.”
“Then, thank you for your hard work.”
“Sister Song, no need for formalities. It’s part of my duty.” Cheng Muye gave a perfectly official response, then paused, frowning slightly. “But there’s one thing I don’t understand.”
“What is it?”
“It’s clear that you strictly forbid Anhe from dating, even someone like the Emperor of Acting, Zheng Ye. Why? Is it just because Anhe is too innocent?”
This was something she couldn’t wrap her head around.
“Romantic relationships in the entertainment industry don’t always cause problems, some celebrity couples even team up and dominate the industry. Song Qiluo’s extreme measures to prevent it entirely seemed excessive if it was only because Tang Anhe was innocent.
Hearing this, Song Qiluo’s expression stiffened for a moment before she forced a smile. “I can’t explain that clearly right now. You’ll understand in time.”
The ambiguous reply concealed hidden motives.
Cheng Muye didn’t press the matter. She simply nodded as the woman offered an excuse and hurried away.
She watched Song Qilou’s retreating figure and felt a strange unease. At twenty-two, Tang Anhe’s personality was still so childlike. If this wasn’t simply the result of being spoiled, could it be deliberate coddling meant to inflate her ego…?
The thought was unsettling. Cheng Muye shook her head, forcing herself not to dwell on it. She reminded herself not to always assume the worst in human nature… after all, Song Qiluo was her cousin.

Sometimes, Tang Anhe really doesn’t want her to be her cousin.
As she changed into her wedding dress, a sharp warning came from outside the car: “Once you’re done changing, behave yourself. If you ruin the wedding dress, forget about shooting this commercial. The loss will be too huge for you to cover!”
“I know, I’m not a child,” she said with a pout, her reply short and sharp as she pushed open the car door.
She wore a pure white, off-shoulder wedding gown. Pearls encircled her waist, the back was elegantly cut out, and the princess-style skirt cascaded in three layers of sheer fabric, spanning dozens of meters. The long train stretched nearly three meters behind her, giving her a look both luxurious and dreamlike.
Song Qiluo couldn’t help staring—was this a wedding dress commercial or an ad for a diamond ring? A gown of this caliber being ruined would truly be a major loss.
Tang Anhe, fully aware of its value, lifted the hem carefully with both hands as she stepped out of the car. Once she finally stopped, her cheeks flushed, and she asked excitedly, “Sister, sister, how is it? Does it look good?”
It looked effortlessly stunning.
The wedding dress was beautiful, and so was she. Both complementing each other perfectly, as if it had been custom-made for her.
Song Qiluo admired it silently, keeping her expression neutral, letting out only a cold snort. “It’s nice, but the dress is prettier than you.”
Tang Anhe could tell the remark was forced. She murmured to herself, a radiant smile spreading across her face. “Sis, I really love this dress. It fits me so well. Don’t you think, Mr. Zheng… ah, oh no, I really want to get married!”
Seeing her cover her blushing face and drift into a daydream, Song Qiluo rolled her eyes and warned sharply, “Tone it down. There are staff all around. If any pictures of you in this lovesick state get out, your refined socialite image will be ruined.”
What a buzzkill!
Tang Anhe pouted, lowering her head. “Got it,” she replied.
At that moment, Zhao Fenfang stepped out of the car. Quiet and elegant, she mostly remained in the background, barely noticeable when silent.
“Sis Song, should we put the veil on now, or wait until later?”
Zhao Fenfang had helped Tang Anhe with the wedding dress earlier.
“Not yet. Zheng Ye hasn’t arrived. He’ll probably be here in a little while.”
Before she could finish, a black Rolls-Royce drove up.
Tang Anhe’s eyes sparkled at the sight of the flashy luxury car. Excited, she lifted her dress and nearly ran toward it.
Fortunately, Cheng Muye stopped her just in time. After finishing her conversation with Song Qiluo, she walked over, struck by how breathtaking Tang Anhe looked in the wedding dress.
She was about to compliment her when she saw Tang Anhe trying to dash toward the actor.
A flicker of jealousy surged through her. Instantly, she looped her long arm around Tang Anhe’s shoulders, lowered her head, and warned in a sharp tone, “Tang Anhe, you’re the top actress now. Don’t forget your status.”
Song Qiluo, who had been observing Cheng Muye’s rather intimate gesture with faint amusement, curved her lips in satisfaction before turning her gaze toward the luxury car.
The crowd stirred at once, ready to welcome the man they called the Emperor of Acting.
Yet when the car door swung open, it was not Zheng Ye who emerged. Instead, a young man in a white suit stepped out. He was tall, handsome, and refined, carrying himself with quiet elegance. Even before he spoke, a smile had already formed on his lips.
Scanning the crowd briefly, he strode directly toward Tang Anhe, bent down on one knee, took her hand, and pressed a deep, heartfelt kiss to it. “Miss Tang, I’m your devoted fan. My name is Shen Si.”
“Don’t touch her!” Cheng Muye, flustered beyond anyone else, shouted and slapped his hand away.
Shen Si didn’t even glance at her. His gaze remained tenderly fixed on Tang Anhe. “Miss Tang, do you like the wedding dress I designed for you? Please forgive me for taking advantage of this diamond ring ad shoot to meet you and confess my love.”
Tang Anhe stood frozen, staring in a daze. After a few seconds, she looked blankly at Cheng Muye, then at Song Qiluo, and asked, “Sis, has filming already started? I haven’t even put on my veil yet. I still need to touch up my makeup… Oh no, I need to go to the restroom too…”
Song Qiluo covered her face, unwilling to respond.
Tang Anhe’s silly blunder somehow made the moment feel even more awkward. Yet the girl herself didn’t feel the slightest hint of embarrassment.
Shen Si reached into his suit pocket and smoothly withdrew a delicate red box. Opening it, he revealed a dazzling diamond ring, roughly fifty carats. His smile was gentle, and his eyes shone with sincere, deep affection.
“Miss Tang,” he said softly, “forgive my abruptness. I have yearned for you far too long. This ring carries my truest feelings. Please, accept it.”
