Chapter 94: Iron Head Technique! Fierce Man Blocks the Road!
As night fell, Su Hao packed his belongings and, as usual, began flipping through a Martial Arts Secret Book.
“Hm? This martial art… is actually an Initiated Martial Art?”
While casually browsing through a volume, a look of surprise appeared on Su Hao’s face.
The book he held was titled “Iron Head Technique,” with the three bold characters prominently displayed on the cover.
This Iron Head Technique originated from the collection of the All Living Beings Sect, and based on Su Hao’s estimation, it seemed to be a Basic Martial Art just by its name. He had planned to look through it casually later when he had time but didn’t intend to practice it seriously. He wanted to gain a general understanding to broaden his perspective on martial arts.
What Su Hao didn’t expect was that as he read about the Iron Head Technique, he found its profundity to be far beyond a Basic Martial Art; in fact, it was an Initiated Level martial art!
“The Iron Head Technique consists of three parts: the top of the head, the forehead, and the back of the head. While it strengthens the muscles and bones using external force, it also requires the internal strength, Qi, and spirit to fill the brain cavity, working in tandem to succeed…”
With each page he read, flashes of insight sparked in Su Hao’s mind, his eyes lighting up with new colors of understanding.
Unbeknownst to him, the candle had burned down, and the sky gradually brightened.
“This Iron Head Technique requires a calm heart and focused mind, clearing away distractions, with the mind akin to the natural world… It actually involves spiritual cultivation. It… might just be the final piece I need to elevate the Molten Fire Golden Body to the Perfection Realm!”
A genuine smile spread across Su Hao’s face.
The Molten Fire Golden Body is a martial art he created himself, with fire energy already coursing through his limbs and torso, reaching a stage of great accomplishment. However, the head remained the most difficult and risky part to master. A single mistake could lead to disastrous consequences, making it challenging to channel strength to his head.
But this Iron Head Technique sparked an idea in Su Hao. If he could thoroughly comprehend it, he felt there was a high probability that he would complete the final step of the Molten Fire Golden Body, elevating it to the ‘Perfection Realm’!
The Molten Fire Golden Body is the martial art Su Hao developed through refining his own abilities. Although it isn’t perfected yet, it is undoubtedly the most profound and mysterious martial art in his repertoire. Once perfected, it would undoubtedly lead to significant progress in his strength.
“Daylight has arrived; we can practice slowly later, but we need to gather now.”
Su Hao glanced at the sky, suppressing his urge to delve into studying the Iron Head Technique, as the day he had arranged to set off for the Evergreen Army camp was today.
After tidying up, Su Hao didn’t delay and stepped outside the Forging Weaponry Workshop.
Chiliarch Tong Junxiong of the Evergreen Army had already been waiting there with nearly twenty others. They all wore the usual attire of Martial Artists, maintaining a low profile, but each one was an elite under Tong Junxiong’s command.
“Master Su, and to all the other craftsmen, once everyone is here, we’ll set off,” Tong Junxiong said to Su Hao and the other three Blacksmiths, including Chen Yuan Zheng.
“Mm.”
Su Hao nodded slightly and boarded a horse-drawn carriage with Chen Yuan Zheng and the others.
“Let’s go.”
Tong Junxiong waved his hand, and the team of about twenty set off toward the city’s outskirts.
Their destination was a military camp located nearly a hundred miles outside Evergreen City. The journey was quiet, with no conversation among the group.
Although there were some mountain bandits and rogues lurking along the way, they instinctively sensed that this group was not to be trifled with, and no one dared to approach and cause trouble.
“A Hao is really diligent, even reading at a time like this.”
Inside the carriage, Chen Yuan Zheng and the others looked at Su Hao, who was flipping through the Iron Head Technique Secret Book, admiration evident in their eyes.
At such a young age, Su Hao had become the top Blacksmith at the Forging Weaponry Workshop. Besides his remarkable talent, he exuded a sense of hard work and discipline, as if he never grew tired, or perhaps found joy in it.
Even on the steep road, inside the swaying carriage, he remained entirely focused on reading.
By evening, they had already covered a significant portion of their journey.
Suddenly, as Su Hao was engrossed in his book, he felt a shift and closed the book he held.
“There’s something going on…”
A look of seriousness appeared in Su Hao’s eyes, as his keen senses detected several presences entering his awareness!
“Who goes there!”
As expected, within a few breaths, angry shouts from the elite members of the Evergreen Army echoed from outside the carriage.
On the uphill mountain path ahead, four or five figures appeared, completely blocking the narrow road.
Tong Junxiong’s expression darkened, his eyes filled with seriousness. Despite their group not wearing armor but traveling in plain clothes, anyone could sense their extraordinary aura and wouldn’t dare provoke them.
However, the four individuals blocking the road were outnumbered yet daring enough to intercept them; they were either looking for trouble or had a good reason to act so boldly!
“Gentlemen, if you seek wealth, I’m willing to pay to avoid trouble; consider it an invitation for you heroes to share a drink.”
Tong Junxiong surveyed the area and spoke in a deep voice, unwilling to escalate the situation.
But a burly, bald man let out a light chuckle in response: “You are from the Evergreen Army? Immediately abandon this carriage and roll away; otherwise… you will die!”
“Impudent!”
This declaration sent shockwaves of anger through Tong Junxiong and the others. How could they audaciously challenge them, knowing their identity?
“Are they targeting us?”
The others inside the carriage, including Chen Yuan Zheng, were equally taken aback, realizing it seemed the confrontation was aimed at them within the carriage.
A glint of cold light appeared in Su Hao’s eyes, then quickly faded as he decided to assess the situation first!
Tong Junxiong opened his mouth to say something more, but suddenly his expression changed drastically. Leading the four was a tall man with broad shoulders and a stern square face, dressed in blue clothing adorned with exquisite embroidered birds.
“A Nameless Nobody does not deserve to die at my hands! Scram!”
The blue-clothed man coldly spat out these words, and in the blink of an eye, his figure blurred, moving with such speed that it was beyond human perception, appearing right in front of Tong Junxiong. With a flick of his sleeve, he casually struck out.
Tong Junxiong’s complexion changed dramatically; in his perception, the blue-clothed man’s casual swipe felt overwhelmingly powerful, instilling a sense of helplessness. Any attempt to dodge or defend was futile, as an invisible pressure held him in place, leaving him helplessly watching the sleeve approaching his chest!
“Bang!”
When the sleeve struck his chest, it felt as though the soft fabric weighed ten thousand pounds, creating a dull thud, and Tong Junxiong’s tall figure was sent flying backward as if he had been hit by a cannonball.
“Master Tong!”
Two elite members of the Evergreen Army gasped in shock, attempting to catch him, but found themselves knocked over as if he were a projectile, resulting in a chaotic tumble that left them injured and unable to stand!
Tong Junxiong had several bones in his chest shattered, his face turned pale as he struggled to utter a word: “Flee!”
Despite being a Transforming Tendon Martial Artist, he found himself utterly powerless against the blue-clothed man, unable to withstand just a mere flick of the opponent’s sleeve. It was evident that they were facing a Master far beyond their capability to handle; if that person wanted to kill them all, it wouldn’t be difficult at all!
