Chapter 68: Flesh Bomb! Tiger Among Sheep!

At this moment, outside the courtyard on the mountain, Su Hao followed the Blood Child to this location. The Blood Child shouted for help, which was also a warning to the Blood Daoist that trouble was coming, and Su Hao did not stop him.

“So many people?” Su Hao was a bit surprised as he saw that there were two to three dozen people gathered outside the modest courtyard. Some of them bore similarities in temperament to the Blood Child, while others were strong and robust, exuding a fierce, iron-blooded aura.

Not long after, Su Hao noticed a stir in the crowd as two individuals stepped forward. One of them was an extremely burly man, towering above everyone else by a considerable margin. The other was a middle-aged Daoist priest dressed in a brown robe, looking ethereal and harmless.

“Blood Daoist!”

Su Hao’s eyes brightened slightly. He had accepted a bounty and received the arrest warrant for the Blood Daoist, which included his information and likeness; he recognized that the man before him was indeed his target, the Blood Daoist!

“Who are you? Why do you want to harm my disciple?” The Blood Daoist saw Su Hao and the Blood Child, whose arms hung limply at his sides, and he inquired in a deep voice, wanting to ascertain the identity of this individual.

Before Su Hao could respond, the Blood Child quickly called out, “Master, he is Wen Tailai! He is the Blade Catcher from the Yamen, and he is here for you!”

“Wen Tailai?”

At this mention, both the Blood Daoist and the burly bald man next to him changed their expressions slightly. The Blood Daoist had certainly heard of him; this individual had recently surfaced, and more than one Master skilled in Transforming Tendon had died at his hands—he was a genuinely dangerous figure!

“Brother Jin, it seems this person has some grievances with you as well!”

The Blood Daoist’s gaze was peculiar as he addressed the burly bald man beside him.

The bald man snorted coldly, “I didn’t expect our paths to cross, but it’s just right—let’s shred Wen Tailai into pieces and settle some grudges.”

From his words, it seemed that he held some animosity towards Su Hao.

“Wen Tailai, your strength is decent, but unfortunately for you, today you’re out of luck. With Brother Jin here, you’re going to die a miserable death!” the Blood Daoist said with a light chuckle.

Wen Tailai was undoubtedly a dangerous figure, but he didn’t realize that he had come at the wrong time; the bald man from the Black Deer Army, Jin Bupo, had come just to recruit him.

Jin Bupo, of notable origins, had entered the Transforming Tendon Stage over twenty years ago and had become a master under King Huang. Coupled with his grievances against Wen Tailai, he certainly wouldn’t stand by idly.

Jin Bupo fixed his gaze on Su Hao, his eyes glinting with a sharp, piercing light as he demanded, “Are you Wen Tailai?”

“And who are you? If you’re not involved, get lost immediately; otherwise… you’ll die!”

As his gaze shifted slightly to Jin Bupo, Su Hao could sense the depth of his aura; his strength was formidable. However, Su Hao didn’t know him and merely spoke calmly, not wanting to complicate matters further. Yet if the other side insisted on making trouble, Su Hao had no choice but to let them go down together!

“Hahaha! What a bold claim!”

The bald man, Jin Bupo, burst into laughter, his voice echoing through the mountains and forests, reverberating for miles. The startled birds scattered as he showcased his impressive power.

When the laughter ceased, Jin Bupo said coldly, “My name is Jin Bupo, Chiliarch of the Black Deer Army. The one you killed, Shi Tieshan, was my sworn brother.”

“He’s also from the Vajra Gate? Now serving in the Black Deer Army?”

Su Hao’s heart stirred slightly as he started to understand. The Vajra Gate, being one of the top sects within Evergreen County, was home to many experts. The first Transforming Tendon Martial Artist he had killed had been Shi Tieshan from the Vajra Gate.

Jin Bupo, now serving King Huang of the Black Deer Army and holding the position of Chiliarch, was also a Master from the Vajra Gate and had sworn brotherhood with Shi Tieshan!

“Alright, since you’re Shi Tieshan’s brother, I’ll send you to reunite with him!”

A cold light flickered in Su Hao’s eyes. Understanding that this person was an enemy, there was no point in further discussion; he would simply eliminate him.

“Attack! Kill him!”

The Blood Daoist shouted at this moment.

His subordinates, also clad in Taoist robes but with sinister expressions, a mix of men and women numbering seven or eight, rushed at Su Hao as soon as they received the Blood Daoist’s order.

Swish! Swish!

Two Taoists swung their knives toward Su Hao’s neck, the blade glinting coldly with a piercing sharpness.

However, Su Hao didn’t even glance at them; he simply brought his fingers together to form a palm blade and swept his hand!

“Rip!”

With a sound of flesh tearing, two heads flew into the air. To Su Hao, these minions were no different from common chickens and dogs!

“Hmm?”

Su Hao was slightly surprised because there was no blood spraying out from the severed necks of the two Taoists; instead, it appeared as if they were contracting and drawing inward.

“Explode!”

At the same time, a sinister smile curved on the Blood Daoist’s lips as he muttered a low command.

“Crack!”

In the next moment, the two Taoists’ bodies violently expanded, like an inflating balloon, until they reached their limit and suddenly burst open.

In an instant, a powerful airflow rushed toward Su Hao, carrying fragments of blood and body parts, crashing madly into him.

The Blood Daoist practiced Demon Art, and every Taoist and young disciple under his command had been manipulated by him, serving entirely as expendable resources that could be used as “human bombs” to injure enemies at critical moments, showing an extreme level of savagery devoid of humanity!

Soft Cloud Palm!

Facing the powerful shockwave generated by the explosions of the two Taoists, which was as formidable as gunpowder or explosives, Su Hao remained calm. He condensed his strength, pushing both palms forward as a surging wave of palm energy poured out like clouds and mist.

Whoosh!

The shockwave rushing toward him was forcefully pushed aside by Su Hao’s palms, not harming a single hair on his body!

Just the profound strength demonstrated in Su Hao’s palm made everyone grow serious, realizing he was far from being just a name without merit.

“All together!”

At the same time, Jin Bupo issued a low command. As the Chiliarch of the Black Deer Army, commanding a thousand soldiers, he didn’t bring the entire force to recruit the Blood Daoist; he only brought twenty elite soldiers with him.

“Kill!”

More than twenty Black Deer Army soldiers, armed with knives, spears, and shields, formed a military formation, resembling an impenetrable steel wall, as they closed in on Su Hao with a fierce momentum. In Jin Bupo’s view, even slightly exhausting Su Hao’s physical strength was worth it!

Swish! Swish!

From the gaps in the shields, spear tips and long knives lunged out swiftly and fiercely, striking from different angles and blocking Su Hao’s space for evasion.

Even Martial Artists skilled in Transforming Tendon or Cleansing Marrow were still flesh-and-blood beings, susceptible to being cut or injured by sharp weapons; these well-trained elite soldiers posed a significant threat to an enemy stronger than themselves.

Crack! Crack!

As long spears and knives lunged at him, Su Hao’s fingers glimmered with a metallic sheen, impervious to weapons. With a clap and a pinch of his palms, the sound of metal shattering erupted as he crushed the blades using his bare hands.

Then, Su Hao seemed to gently press both palms against the two shields. The strength in his palms inhaled and exhaled, the soft palm energy turning hard, as a fierce force burst forth, weighing as heavily as a thousand pounds!

Crack!Crack!

The sound of the explosion rang out, as the sturdy shields made of leather, wood, and metal shattered completely under Su Hao’s palm press. The Black Deer Army soldier behind the shield let out a muffled groan as his arm was violently broken and flung away, crashing into his comrades, causing them to tumble over in disarray.

What appeared to be an impenetrable military formation collapsed in an instant. Having refined his body and strength for many days, and having cultivated multiple Lower Grade Martial Arts to perfection, Su Hao’s strength and mastery over it far surpassed his initial grasp of Core Strength.

In his eyes, these so-called elite soldiers were no different from mere chickens and dogs.

“Swish!”

At that moment, a sharp sound of slicing air pierced through the atmosphere. Before the sound arrived, a tremendous pressure bore down on him, as the burly Jin Bupo, unable to contain himself any longer, chose to strike!

“Die! Great Vajra Fist!”

Jin Bupo’s eyes blazed with fierce flames as his massive right fist came crashing down. The impact of his fist against the air created a white mist that surged upwards, resembling a meteor descending from the heavens, capable of shattering and sinking the very ground beneath it.

As Jin Bupo launched his attack, he displayed astonishing might, surpassing even Shi Tieshan from Vajra Gate by a considerable margin.
