Chapter 65: Tendons Extend Half an Inch! The Name of the Divine Fist!

“Delightful!”

As the energy flowed effortlessly through his body, his blood circulated smoothly without obstructions. In an instant, his true energy could travel through the twelve main Meridians to every part of his body. This wonderful sensation made Su Hao unable to suppress a comfortable groan.

Focusing his mind, Su Hao looked inward and saw his Meridians. Each of them was considerably thicker than when he started, exuding a sense of toughness, and they had grown half an inch longer compared to the beginning!

With the tendons extending half an inch, his strength increased by tenfold!

Su Hao could distinctly sense the formidable power contained within his Meridians, that was the “Strength Force,” a power derived from the tendons, similar to muscular strength, but only accessible to Martial Artists who have undergone the Transforming Tendon process!

“One Transforming Tendon session brings me to the realm of ‘Ox Tendon,'” Su Hao thought to himself.

The ox is one of the most resilient animals among common creatures, and the tendons from such animals are often used for the strings of bows, which is why this realm of one Transforming Tendon is named ‘Ox Tendon’!

Feeling the power surging within him, Su Hao could no longer contain himself. He leaped out of the bathtub, landing naked in the yard to practice his punches.

“Crack! Crack!”

The tendons within Su Hao felt like bowstrings tightening, and his fists and legs shot out like arrows. Each punch he threw produced a deafening sound of sonic booms, his strikes striking faster than the eye could see, as if he had grown several more arms and legs!

Every punch was terrifyingly heavy and fast enough to surpass the speed of sound!

“Crack!”

A sweeping kick erupted, like a thunderbolt flashing across the sky, the power exploding with incredible force. Even a tree as thick as a person’s waist could be sliced in half by his kick!

In fact, even from two or three meters away, the flowers and grasses in the garden were uprooted and torn to shreds by the gust of wind created by his kick.

After executing a full set of punches, Su Hao calmly came to a stop, a hint of astonishment reflected in his eyes: “Strong… too strong, is this the change after the Transforming Tendon?”Without using ‘Core Strength’ or ‘Martial Techniques,’ the speed and power of my punches are already comparable to when I previously employed the Void Breaking Divine Fist!”

Originally, Su Hao needed to exert substantial strength to propel his Void Breaking Divine Fist, but now, even without using strength, the power of his fists and kicks was sufficient to rival the Void Breaking Divine Fist.

This was the result of the Transforming Tendon process—‘Tendon Strength.’

Previously, Su Hao had relied on the strength of his muscles and bones, but now he had gained ‘Tendon Strength’!

Muscles, bones, and meridians, the three forces combined could far surpass the simple addition of one plus one plus one!

“Not only that, but my meridians have become wider and more resilient, significantly improving the efficiency of my strength output—meaning the force I deliver will far exceed what it was before!”

Su Hao clenched his fists, feeling the substantial boost in strength output following the transformation of his meridians.

It’s worth noting that if Su Hao’s Core Strength were to increase just a little, its impact would be dramatically enhanced, and if it were to double? That would be the difference between a child and a strong man!

It’s not an exaggeration to say that if Su Hao were to face Wu Yannian again now, even if Wu Yannian was wearing armor infused with Star Pattern Iron, Su Hao could land a heavy punch and crush him into a pulp without resorting to trickery with his Melting Gold Hand!

“The Lower Grade Martial Arts of the Three Gate Perfection Realm have entered the Transforming Tendon Stage; my current strength can be seen as having undergone a transformation!”

Su Hao felt his power steadily improving.

However, he did not become arrogant or complacent, understanding that the world was far bigger than he could imagine. Even now, he could not claim to be the strongest within this county, let alone across the entire Great Yan Dynasty.

“Next, aside from continuing to refine my meridians, I need to practice more profound martial arts, enhance my potential, and make my strength even more pronounced, even to the point of a qualitative change! There are still two initiated-level martial arts at the Yamen that I must obtain!”

Su Hao contemplated his next steps. The pursuit of martial arts knows no bounds; without progress, one regresses. He needed to be diligent and continuously climb to higher peaks!

Previously, as the Blade Catcher at the Yamen, he was already aware that there were three initiated martial arts available for exchange: ‘Void Breaking Divine Fist,’ ‘Dripping Rain Sword Technique,’ and ‘Mad Demon Staff Technique.’

At that time, Su Hao had chosen the Void Breaking Divine Fist, but he also wanted the other two initiated martial arts. Once he found some free time, he could visit Gongsun Xiu to accept the bounties and exchange for the remaining two initiated martial arts!

It had been several months since Su Hao broke through to the Transforming Tendon Stage.

One evening in Evergreen County’s Wushan Town, which serves as a vital route, there was a continuous flow of travelers, making it quite lively.

The weather was frigid, with fine snowflakes falling. Inside a restaurant in Wushan Town, it was packed and bustling, filled with numerous travelers, itinerant merchants, and martial artists enjoying their meals and chatting away.

“Have you heard? Recently, the infamous ‘Blood Fiend Hand’ Duan Youde was killed, and the one who did it was Wen Tailai.”

“Wen Tailai? The Gold Medal Blade Catcher Wen Tailai? I heard this Blood Fiend Hand had likely entered the Transforming Tendon Stage and had killed countless people, including many officials. Yet, he ended up falling to Wen Tailai’s hands?”

A group of drinkers at a table excitedly discussed the recent news they had learned.

“Alas… this world is too chaotic. If only there were more chivalrous figures like Hero Wen, I believe those rampant thieves and evildoers would decrease significantly! What can one Wen Tailai change?”

As they spoke and sighed, these individuals felt that the turmoil in the world couldn’t be resolved by just a couple of so-called heroes!

“Wen Tailai? Just a cowardly little dog!”

The crowd continued to discuss the recently rising Wen Tailai, but just then, a voice of cold laughter rang out, silencing the lively restaurant somewhat.

Everyone turned to see a boyish-looking man. However, he was not a child but a short-statured man who looked somewhat deformed, with mismatched eyes, the very person who had just mocked earlier.

“Who are you to speak ill of Hero Wen? What gives you the right?”

A young martial artist, upon hearing the derision aimed at Wen Tailai, immediately displayed anger. While Wen Tailai was a Blade Catcher, he had taken down many powerful foes and bandits, serving as a bane to evil, commanding a great deal of respect from many. Yet, the other party belittled Wen Tailai as if he were worthless.

“Don’t… don’t speak out, that person seems to be the Blood Child…”

Someone’s expression changed, and they quickly hushed the one who had earlier spoken, recognizing the identity of the boyish-looking man from his features.

“The Blood Child?”

As soon as this was said, not only did the speaker from the Jianghu community fall silent, but others in the restaurant were also taken aback.

The Blood Child, who appeared dwarfish and had an ugly face, possessed formidable strength and was known for his brutal killing methods that sent shivers down people’s spines. He was a member of the Demon Dao!

Clearly, this Blood Child was very displeased with the recently famous Wen Tailai, and upon hearing someone praise him, he mockingly interjected.

“He is… the Blood Child?”

The young martial artist’s face turned slightly pale upon hearing the notorious name. He had heard of the Blood Child’s infamy and never imagined he would encounter him here, especially after provoking him!

The boyish-looking Blood Child, who resembled a dwarf, gazed with a half-smile at the pale-faced young martial artist and chuckled, “Since you know who I am, you should know my methods too. You have offended me. However, I’m in a good mood today. If you kneel down, bow three times, and call me ‘Grandpa’, I might spare your life!”

“Otherwise… I will break your limbs, skin you alive, and let you die in agony!”

As he spoke, the Blood Child licked his lips, a bloodthirsty glimmer flashing in his eyes, and a sinister grin spread across his face.

This made the young martial artist tremble, filled with anger, but more so with fear and dread, because the Blood Child was known for his cruelty and was definitely capable of following through on his threats.

But to kneel and beg for mercy in front of so many people? That would be worse than death!

“Don’t meddle in this…”

A martial artist in the restaurant, outraged, wanted to speak up for justice but was quickly pulled back by his companion. The Blood Child was not an ordinary character; speaking out wouldn’t help at all, and they would only put themselves in danger.

“A gentleman can be killed but cannot be humiliated!”

The young martial artist gritted his teeth fiercely, his eyes slightly reddening, and chose to draw the saber from his waist, willing to fight to the death!

“Very well, then I shall skin you alive and extract your tendons!”

Upon seeing this, the Blood Child’s mouth curved into a grin; he enjoyed killing but even more so torturing people in inhuman ways. The young martial artist’s courage to draw his weapon only meant that the Blood Child would make him regret it.

The atmosphere between the two sides grew tense, and conflict was about to break out.

“Creak!”

At that moment, the door of the tavern, which had been ajar, was pushed open, bringing a chill with the fluttering snow outside, and a figure stepped into the tavern amid the wind and snow.

The newcomer was neither tall nor short, and his appearance was quite ordinary, unremarkable even, but the slight elongation of his eyes gave off a sharp impression.

“You are the Blood Child?” The man scanned the silent hall of the tavern and ultimately focused his gaze on the dwarf-like Blood Child, calmly inquiring.

Under the man’s gaze, the Blood Child felt an inexplicable palpitation, as if a mouse had been spotted by a cat!

Seeing the plain-looking man, the Blood Child’s heart jolted slightly, his pupils contracting as he exclaimed, “You are… Invincible Divine Fist Wen Tailai!”
