Chapter 29: Feeling Insecure

Fearing that other universities might poach Chu Zhi Lu, the A University admissions team left their hotel at dawn to wait at the Chu family’s house.

Zhao Xunyu encountered them and, upon learning their identities and purpose, found resolution to his dilemma.

He had to repeat a year!

His girlfriend was the top scorer in the province. If he performed poorly, he would embarrass Chu Zhizhi!

Since it was still early, he didn’t want to wake Chu Zhi Lu, so he quietly chatted with the teachers in the living room. He asked them if Chu Zhi Lu could get into any major she wanted, how many students were in a dorm, how big the campus was, what the previous lowest admission scores were for A University, and if there were preparatory courses.

The admissions teachers knew he was Chu Zhi Lu’s boyfriend and were polite, subtly hoping he would persuade her to choose A University.

Zhao Xunyu chuckled. “If I’m one or two hundred points lower than her, can I tag along?”
