Luo Jing applied a thick layer of mint ointment over the love bites on her neck before heading to the cafeteria with her classmates.

Because she felt guilty, she pulled her collar up high, trying her best to cover her neck. Once she found an empty seat in the cafeteria, she began chatting and eating.

Her new friend, Chen Zhi, had a personality quite similar to hers, although she was a bit more outgoing. Like Luo Jing, she was non-confrontational and gentle by nature. Chen Zhi frequently invited Luo Jing to visit places overflowing with feminine charm, such as cat cafes or cake shops. Her hobbies included collecting decorative washi tapes, and her demeanor was always soft and easygoing.

As she munched on her bread, Chen Zhi scrolled through her phone and showed Luo Jing a new coffee shop she had recently found. This time, she was hoping to visit a greenhouse-style café that was perfect for taking photos. It was said they served a star-themed drink, and every picture of it looked dreamlike.

“Where is this place? It’s not too far from City B, is it?” Luo Jing needed to confirm because Chen Zhi sometimes got carried away and took her to places that were far off the beaten path.

“Let me check,” Chen Zhi said, realizing she had forgotten to look at the location in her excitement. When she finally saw the address, her face dropped. “It’s in the mountains of City H…”

That location was incredibly far. Even if they drove, it would take three hours, and Chen Zhi had to take the bus.

No matter how enticing the place might be, it was difficult to justify spending that much time on transportation.

Seeing her friend’s disappointed face, Luo Jing couldn’t help but laugh softly. “Don’t lose hope. There must be other options. Try searching for something in City B.”

With her enthusiasm rekindled, Chen Zhi resumed her coffee shop search. Luo Jing decided not to interrupt and instead turned her attention to her phone, exchanging messages with Chen Xin. She sent an annoyed hamster sticker to express her dissatisfaction, curious to see how Chen Xin would reply.

When Chen Xin received the pouting hamster image from Luo Jing, it was easy to imagine her little face puffed up in frustration. A faint smile appeared on her lips. Now it made sense why Luo Jing had deliberately ignored her call earlier, only to follow it up with a sticker. That was Luo Jing’s classic way of saying, coax me, now.

Her expression was full of anger and urgency as she pointed to someone in the crowd and screamed insults. Her words were harsh and shrill.

On the other side of the crowd stood several girls who usually hung out with her. Although their tone was not as frenzied as Li Cheng’s, their words were equally unrelenting. Li Cheng was arguing alone against a group. It was impossible for one voice to win against so many.

Nearly everything that came out of Li Cheng’s mouth was profanity. No one could make out the core of the argument. However, the other girls made their message loud and clear. They accused Li Cheng of being a “whore who sells herself.”

The crowd was puzzled. No one understood what had caused the conflict. Some students went to get a disciplinary officer, but by then, Li Cheng was already storming toward the cafeteria door, still shouting.

Just then, she caught sight of Luo Jing sitting quietly at the edge of the room. As if possessed, she suddenly rushed over and grabbed Luo Jing by the collar, screaming at the top of her lungs, “It was you! You bitch! Bitch!”

Her hysterical behavior was terrifying. She clutched Luo Jing’s collar so tightly that it became hard for her to breathe. Her face turned red as she struggled. The cafeteria had been full of onlookers, but when they saw that Li Cheng had started physically attacking someone, many people rushed forward to pull her away. No one understood why Li Cheng harbored such intense hatred for Luo Jing. Even as she was being dragged away by several hands, she continued kicking, clearly still trying to land a blow.

Luo Jing’s collar had been torn, and Li Cheng looked even more disheveled. She had worn a short skirt that day, and in the chaos, the skirt had ridden up to her waist. Her underwear was completely exposed to everyone in the cafeteria.

Soon, a disciplinary officer arrived and escorted everyone involved in the incident away. Since the cause of the conflict remained unclear, Luo Jing, Li Cheng, her group of friends, and the students who had tried to intervene were all taken in.

More than ten people were brought in at once. The ones who had only tried to stop the fight were quickly released. Only six or seven students remained. Chen Zhi made a point to accompany Luo Jing, whose collar had been stretched beyond repair. Red marks now covered her neck where the fabric had pressed too hard. Some areas were even scraped open, with thin lines of blood visible.

The disciplinary officer recognized Li Cheng and her group. They had a record of poor behavior, and now they had escalated to physical violence. He slammed his hand on the table and shouted, “What happened? Explain yourselves!”

Luo Jing looked utterly lost. She had no idea what was going on.

Li Cheng had adjusted her clothing and now sat with her mouth twisted into a scowl. She ignored the officer and refused to speak.

After a moment of silence, Chen Zhi spoke up. “We really don’t know. They were arguing when Li Cheng suddenly attacked Luo Jing, causing her to get hurt.” She pointed at the injuries on Luo Jing’s neck, some of which were still bleeding slightly.

The officer frowned and instructed Luo Jing to visit the infirmary next door and apply some ointment before returning.

By the time Luo Jing came back, Li Cheng’s friends had begun to talk. It seemed that someone had posted some images about Li Cheng on the school forum. After a few sarcastic remarks, things had spiraled into a fight.

The officer frowned, believing this to be a minor issue. “What kind of images? Let me see.”

The girls looked at one another, clearly hesitant. When the officer urged them again, Li Cheng snapped, “What the hell do you want to see?!”

Her defiance infuriated the officer. He scolded her and then ordered the other girls to bring their phones.

As soon as he saw the photos, his expression changed drastically.

The images were vulgar and explicit. Every one of them showed Li Cheng in indecent positions.

There were nude selfies where she was exposing herself. Some images showed her mid-act, flashing peace signs. Others were close-ups of her face covered in bodily fluids while smiling. There were also provocative shots of her posing on a bed with cash scattered around.

The images featured different men, including some who were clearly much older.

It was impossible not to suspect these were scenes of transactional s*x.

The officer turned pale and returned the phone. He furrowed his brow deeply and, for a moment, had no idea how to proceed.

Li Cheng’s expression darkened as well. No one could calmly accept having such shameful images leaked to the public. She glared at Luo Jing with hatred. “It was that damn wh0re! She must’ve leaked them! She’s doing this to get revenge on me!”

She shouted and tried to rush at Luo Jing again.

Luo Jing, frightened by her sudden aggressiveness, instinctively backed away. She defended herself. “It wasn’t me… I don’t even have those pictures…”

Chen Zhi also spoke up. “Li Cheng, stop blaming Luo Jing. Who could even get their hands on pictures like that?” She had accidentally glimpsed one or two and was still in shock.

The matter had clearly grown serious. After collecting statements from everyone, it was confirmed that Luo Jing had not participated in the fight and had been attacked without provocation. As a result, both Luo Jing and Chen Zhi were allowed to return to class. The students who had intervened were praised for their actions. The girls who had fought with Li Cheng each received two warnings before being sent back as well.

Li Cheng, however, was ordered to remain. The officer contacted additional school officials and their homeroom teacher. Clearly, this issue required a deeper investigation and appropriate disciplinary action.
