The Crybaby Mistress GL - Chapter 40
For days after that night, Luo Jing felt as if she were walking in a dream. Her mind was constantly replaying Chen Xin’s tender words, which made her heart race uncontrollably. Even during class, her attention would drift far away. While the teacher was still lecturing, her thoughts floated off to the clouds.
When class ended, she quickly copied the notes from the whiteboard, stood up, and headed to the cafeteria. As usual, Lu Ting tagged along. He waited until she finished before walking with her, chatting and laughing along the way.
At the cafeteria, Luo Jing bought the cheapest meal set. Lu Ting had already found two empty seats and used his jacket to reserve them. He waved for her to come sit.
Seeing Luo Jing’s choice of meal, Lu Ting frowned. “Will that be enough to fill you up?”
“Of course,” Luo Jing replied as she sat down. As they began eating, Lu Ting saw how satisfied she looked and chose not to say anything further. Instead, he pushed a drink toward her, claiming he bought the wrong one and had extra.
They chatted casually. From a distance, Lu Ting spotted his group of friends heading toward the cafeteria. He raised his hand to signal them to join. However, when they saw him and noticed Luo Jing sitting across from him, they frowned, made a gesture in return, and walked away after grabbing takeaway meals.
Lu Ting found their reaction strange. Luo Jing had her back to them, so she did not notice anything. He decided he would ask them about it later.
Luo Jing remained unaware of any of it. Her mind had long flown back to Chen Xin. After lunch, she found a quiet spot to call her. Only then could she focus on her afternoon classes. Once school ended, she ran straight to the apartment, not even thinking about her teachers or Lu Ting’s friends.
Back home, she cheerfully tidied up and cooked dinner. Chen Xin had said she would come over to eat with her. Luo Jing made sweet and sour dishes she liked. The kitchen soon filled with a tangy, sweet aroma.
As soon as Chen Xin walked in, she wasted no time pulling Luo Jing, still in her apron, into a deep kiss. By the time they sat down to eat, both of their lips were still red. Luo Jing even had to reheat the food.
During dinner, Chen Xin smiled and fed a bite of fish to Luo Jing. They were practically sharing one set of utensils. Chen Xin said, “Will you come out with me tomorrow?”
Luo Jing nodded without hesitation. Her cheeks were puffed up from chewing the flavorful fish. After swallowing, she asked, “Where are we going? Is it a date?” She returned the gesture by placing some food into Chen Xin’s bowl.
Chen Xin frowned at the vegetables Luo Jing had given her. She clearly did not want to eat them. Luo Jing nudged her bowl and said she was not allowed to be picky. Chen Xin had no choice but to eat.
“It’s not really a date,” Chen Xin replied. “We’re going to visit my family’s graves. I want to introduce them to you.”
“Graves?” Luo Jing thought it sounded unusual but was still curious. “Are they close relatives?”
Chen Xin smiled faintly with a touch of sadness. “You’ll see tomorrow.”
Since Chen Xin seemed reluctant to say more, Luo Jing did not press the matter. She quietly placed another piece of food into her bowl.
Chen Xin protested, “I gave you fish, and you keep giving me vegetables.”
Luo Jing spoke seriously. “If I don’t, you won’t eat any. Eat up. It’s good for you.”
She had noticed that Chen Xin would instinctively avoid anything green. Her chopsticks would steer clear of vegetables, so Luo Jing took it upon herself to ensure they landed in her bowl.
Chen Xin had no choice but to eat. This little one really knew how to keep her in line. No one had ever dared to make her eat vegetables before.
As she chewed, she saw Luo Jing enjoying another bite of fish. On impulse, Chen Xin reached over, pulled her close, and kissed her. Luo Jing let out a surprised sound as her lips were sealed. Only the sticky sound of their kiss lingered in the air.
When she was finally released, Luo Jing covered her mouth, her face flushed red. There was a faint sweetness of vegetables on her tongue, but the fish she had just been chewing was gone. Chen Xin licked her lips, clearly pleased.
Fish was still her favorite.
Since they were going out together the next day, Chen Xin naturally stayed the night. The two of them played around late into the night. Even when they finally fell asleep, they remained tangled in each other’s arms.
The next morning, when Chen Xin woke up, Luo Jing was already awake. She was not in bed, but had left behind a pillow still warm with her body heat. Several outfits were laid out on the bed. Luo Jing, dressed only in her underwear, was bent over with her upper body halfway inside the wardrobe, digging through her clothes.
Chen Xin propped her head up on one hand and watched. She had bought Luo Jing plenty of clothes. Several of the ones now tossed on the bed still had tags attached. Yet Luo Jing did not seem satisfied. She continued searching.
Chen Xin silently admired her. From behind, Luo Jing’s curves were accentuated. The edges of her underwear clung tightly to her full thighs, making her look like a ripe peach.
As she stood and bent again, the fabric of her underwear slid into the cleft of her hips, outlining her shape even more clearly.
Only after watching for a while did Chen Xin quietly slip out of bed to wash up. Luo Jing was so focused on her search that she did not notice Chen Xin had woken up. It was only when she held up a final choice and turned toward the mirror that she jumped at the sight of Chen Xin standing silently behind her.
“You’re awake?!” Luo Jing was startled. She turned and patted her chest. “Why didn’t you say anything?”
“You looked busy, so I didn’t want to disturb you,” Chen Xin replied calmly, never admitting she had been admiring Luo Jing’s backside.
She pointed at the pile of discarded clothes. “What’s wrong with those? Don’t like them?”
Luo Jing shook her head. “It’s not that. I just don’t know which one to wear. I want to be respectful when visiting your family.”
“These are all fine,” Chen Xin pointed out a few options.
Luo Jing disagreed. “They’re too bright. I should wear something darker, more elegant and simple… Hmm…”
She tossed aside another one with a dissatisfied sigh.
Seeing her this way, Chen Xin came up behind her and wrapped her arms around her waist. “Why are you so concerned about what to wear?”
“Of course I care. This is my first time formally meeting your family.”
Chen Xin felt a warmth in her heart. So this little one wanted to make a good impression. Even though her family had already passed, Luo Jing still treated it with utmost respect. Chen Xin felt deeply moved and held her tighter.
Luo Jing squirmed awkwardly. “Um… Miss Chen, could you move your hands?”
“No,” Chen Xin said with satisfaction. Her hands began to shamelessly caress Luo Jing’s soft curves. “Our little Jing is too adorable. Let me pamper you a bit.”
Luo Jing’s eyes widened. “Now? But we just did it last night… Ah!”
Before she could finish, Chen Xin had already pulled her bra aside. Luo Jing’s sensitive skin was soon captured by Chen Xin’s lips, her tongue playing and teasing…
Luo Jing tried one last plea. “Don’t mess up the clothes.”
The bed was full of new outfits. She didn’t want them stained before even getting worn once.
“That’s fine,” Chen Xin replied before pushing her up against the wardrobe door. “We’ll do it standing this time.”
