All day long, Xin Keke waited for Li Yue to apologize. However, Li Yue acted as though nothing had happened. She continued to chat and laugh as usual, behaving as if she had never heard the warning.

During a break in the afternoon, students headed to the locker room to change into their sports uniforms for physical education class. Only Li Yue went to the restroom. Xin Keke had been watching her closely, so when she saw Li Yue head to the restroom, she followed her.

“Li Yue, did you not listen to my warning earlier?” Xin Keke’s voice carried her growing anger. Li Yue was far too arrogant, acting with complete confidence that no one would dare to oppose her. Did she truly believe that Xin Keke would do nothing?

“Li Yue?”

She entered the restroom and discovered that it was empty.

Xin Keke frowned and knocked on one of the stall doors. There was no response.

Suddenly, she heard footsteps behind her. Her instincts immediately signaled danger. She moved swiftly to the side, and in the next moment, a trash can came crashing down right where she had been standing. She jumped in alarm. Had she not reacted so quickly, she would have been trapped beneath it.

Regaining her balance, Xin Keke turned and looked at the three girls who had appeared. Judging by their uniforms, she recognized them as second-year students. That could only mean one thing.

“Did Li Yue and Yang Mengke ask you to come here?”

When she mentioned their names, Li Yue and Yang Mengke, who had been hiding nearby and observing, stepped out from behind the restroom walls.

Li Yue wasted no time with pleasantries. She issued a direct threat. “Hand over the evidence you have. If you do, I might let them spare you out of consideration for our past relationship. Otherwise, you will be the one to suffer.”

Xin Keke’s expression turned dark.

She stared intensely at Li Yue.

Li Yue grew uncomfortable under that unwavering gaze and turned her face away. “Hurry up. You know how temperamental senior girls can be. If you keep stalling, they will not only take the evidence from you but also beat you up.”

Though Li Yue sounded as if she was offering friendly advice, Xin Keke found her words laughable.

“Li Yue, I told you this was your last chance. If you admit what you did, I will not upload the video.”

“You still want me to admit I was wrong? Why should I? So what if I had someone beat her up? She deserved it, didn’t she?” Li Yue snapped. She was fed up with Xin Keke’s persistence. But then she realized what Xin Keke was really trying to do. She wanted her to admit in front of Yang Mengke that she liked Yan Kuo and that she had attacked Zhan Rao out of jealousy. She was not that foolish. “Just give me the evidence now.”

Xin Keke could now see clearly that this was Li Yue’s true self. There was no intention to apologize. Her disappointment was overwhelming. She stared with unwavering determination and declared, “I will not.”

“You—”

Li Yue was seething with rage. She grabbed a mop from the corner and shoved aside the senior girls who stood in front of Xin Keke. She raised the mop, preparing to strike. The girls nearby gasped. However, Xin Keke reacted quickly. Just as Li Yue swung the mop, Xin Keke slipped into a restroom stall and locked the door behind her.

Seeing her hide only made Li Yue more furious. She began to bang on the door and kick it furiously.

“Xin Keke! Come out here right now!”

“I told you to get out!”

“If you don’t come out, then stay in there forever!”

Li Yue shouted while continuing to kick the door.

There was no trace left of her once sweet and innocent demeanor.

Xin Keke sat calmly on the toilet seat. Despite the chaos outside, she felt at peace. There was no fear in her heart. Her mind was clearer than ever.

Some people, no matter how many chances you give them, will continue to make the same mistakes.

It is better not to offer any more chances. Let them face the consequences they deserve.

Xin Keke lowered her head and sent a message to the P.E. teacher and Jiang Yun. Then she uploaded the video to the school forum.

On the sports field, Class 1 and Class 18 were having P.E. together.

Jiang Yun had just arrived when she received Xin Keke’s message.

Her brows furrowed. She scanned the field and saw no sign of Li Yue. Understanding the situation immediately, she turned and ran toward the restroom beside the locker room.

Class 18 had finished later than Class 1. As Jiang Yun passed the locker room, Zhan Rao and Tong Xue had just come out. They saw her rushing toward the restroom. Zhan Rao immediately followed.

“What happened?”

“Li Yue locked Xin Keke inside.”

The P.E. teacher, having also received the message, realized the urgency and quickly ran over.

Back on the field, students who had been waiting impatiently decided to check the school forum on their phones.

A shout rang out. “Oh my god! Something huge just happened!”

A new post had been pinned to the top of the forum.

Anyone logging in would see it immediately.

[First-year Class 1 student Li Yue colluded with second-year students to trap Class 18 student Zhan Rao, resulting in Zhan Rao being injured and hospitalized.]

The post was only one sentence long. Not a single word was wasted, but it conveyed the situation with perfect clarity. The post included a video.

Students who opened the video heard the following:

“Senior, you really found the right person this time. That girl looked pretty tough.”

A baby-faced girl smiled in satisfaction.

A girl with long hair sounded worried. “Tough? Didn’t she seem terrifying to you? Who hits someone with a hammer like that? What if she kills her?” She tried to stop things. “This is bad. I was the one who brought that person. If something happens to Jiang Yun, I’ll be ruined.”

But the other girl blocked her.

“Senior, why are you scared? Jiang Yun brought this on herself. No one asked her to be there. None of this has anything to do with you.” The baby-faced girl put on an innocent expression.

The more the girl spoke that way, the more frightened the long-haired girl became.

“Yue Yue, let me make this clear. I only agreed to help because I wanted to support you. The idea came from you. If something goes wrong, you will not be able to escape blame.”

“Senior, you really are timid. Don’t worry. Nothing bad will happen.”

The video lasted no more than three minutes.

Although the audio was not very clear, the dialogue was mostly understandable.

Moreover, the story of Zhan Rao’s assault and Jiang Yun taking her to the hospital had already spread throughout the school. The hooligans from Hongye High who had attacked Zhan Rao had been expelled. Everyone at Yinchuan High was aware of the situation.

Most had assumed Zhan Rao had become a target because of her good looks, which stirred envy from a neighboring school.

But now, it appeared there was a hidden truth.

It had been someone from their own school?

And it had been Li Yue, the very girl who had always appeared so innocent and carried such a good reputation?

This was serious.

Nobody wanted to continue with class. It was break time, and phones were out everywhere. Students began flooding the forum post.

1st comment: I can’t believe this. Li Yue is really like that? That’s the Li Yue from Class 1, right?

2nd comment: I’m shocked. Never expected this.

3rd comment: I’m from Class 1. I was in the same class as Li Yue for six years. I had no idea…

4th comment: How deep was the grudge? She brought in second-years and even outsiders to trap Zhan Rao? That’s just twisted.

5th comment: The more I think about it, the scarier it is. She always acted innocent, but secretly did something this cruel.

6th comment: No wonder even her loyal follower Xin Keke abandoned her. She must have realized the truth.

7th comment: Now I’m wondering if Jiang Yun also found out she had been tricked. Is that why she broke off with Li Yue?

The thread grew rapidly with responses.

The more flawless Li Yue’s public image had seemed, the harder it now crumbled.

And still, Li Yue had no idea what was happening.

She continued to kick the stall door in a frenzy, trying to force Xin Keke out. When that failed, she threw a stick over the top of the stall in an attempt to hit her.

There was still no response from inside.

Li Yue’s expression darkened further.

“Go get some buckets and fill them with water. Pour it over the door.”

Even Yang Mengke was frightened by Li Yue’s behavior. While she was used to pushing others around, she had never gone this far.

“Why are you all just standing there? Start pouring!” Li Yue shouted.

When no one moved, she picked up a bucket herself and headed to fetch water.

At that moment, the door suddenly burst open with a loud bang.

“Li Yue! What do you think you’re doing?”

Li Yue jumped in shock. She turned and saw Jiang Yun, Zhan Rao, Tong Xue, a group of students, and the P.E. teacher standing at the door, all staring at her coldly.

The bucket in her hand fell to the floor with a loud clang.

“Teacher…”

“Stand right there!” The P.E. teacher was livid.

A student fight that involved trapping someone and throwing water at them in the restroom was a severe disciplinary issue.

“Teacher, please let me explain. Xin Keke framed me. I only wanted to…”

“You can explain all you want in the principal’s office.”

The P.E. teacher grabbed her arm and pulled her out of the restroom.

Li Yue was stunned. Then she snapped back to reality and began struggling, wailing loudly.

“I don’t want to go! Please, don’t take me there! I wasn’t trying to hurt Xin Keke.”

Suddenly, as if struck by inspiration, she cried out, “It wasn’t me! It was Senior Yang Mengke!”

She broke free and rushed to Yang Mengke, clutching her arm.

“Senior, tell them! It wasn’t me…”

Yang Mengke felt terrible.

She wanted to protect Li Yue, but with so many teachers and students watching, she was too afraid.

“Li Yue, let’s be honest. You were the one who told me to do it.”

“Yang Mengke! How can you say that?!” Li Yue’s expression changed instantly. She screamed, “You’re the one who brought those second-years! What does that have to do with me?! You said we had to get the video from Xin Keke’s phone. Why is it suddenly my fault?!”

Yang Mengke stood speechless.

It was true that she had insisted on getting the video, but that was because Li Yue told her the phone contained proof of the ambush on Zhan Rao.

It had been Li Yue who led her into this. It was Li Yue who suggested trapping Xin Keke in the restroom.

How could she be like this?

Yang Mengke felt like she had swallowed a pile of filth.

Yet no matter how hard she tried, she had no evidence.

The teacher and the crowd of students gave her no space to argue. She was furious and flustered, unable to match Li Yue’s sharp tongue.

Just as she prepared to defend herself, another girl stepped forward.

“Li Yue, stop lying. The school forum already has the video of you and Yang Mengke talking. Go to the principal and explain yourself.”

The speaker was Tong Xue.

She had long disliked Li Yue. Seeing her trap Xin Keke only deepened her anger. She walked over, pushed Li Yue aside, and stood at the restroom door.

She called gently, “Keke, you can come out now. We’re all here.”

“Keke…”

She called twice before the door slowly opened. A small face peeked out cautiously. There was a bloodstain on her forehead where the mop had hit her.

The P.E. teacher saw this and was livid.

“Li Yue, get to the principal’s office now. If you don’t, then leave the school immediately!”

With witnesses, evidence, and a viral video, Li Yue panicked.

She hurried after the teacher with desperation in her voice, pleading for mercy with tearful insistence. But the teacher held her firmly and dragged her away.

The remaining students stood in the restroom, exchanging stunned glances.

“You all head back to the field. I’ll take Keke to get treatment.”

Tong Xue gently held Xin Keke’s hand and led her to the infirmary.

Jiang Yun and Zhan Rao looked at each other and followed. However, as soon as they reached the infirmary door, someone called them to the principal’s office.
