- Chapter 92 - Pre-Marital Check-up Play (Part 1)
The process of preparing for the wedding turned out to be more complicated than Qing Lin had expected.
Originally, attending other people’s weddings felt like it only took one evening, but now that it was his turn, he realized there were so many things to do both before and after.
This involved hiring a planner, designing the wedding suits, choosing the hotel, preparing invitations, selecting the venue… so many tasks that it would take months to complete.
Shen Xuzhi paused his work for the next few months to focus entirely on wedding preparations.
Qing Lin officially graduated from Zhejiang University in June. On the day of the graduation ceremony, in his academic gown, surrounded by flowers and endless bright sunshine, Qing Lin, who attended with his fiancé, naturally became the focus for commemorative photos.
He was scheduled to report to Tsinghua for graduate school at the end of August, so they weren’t in a rush to hold the wedding itself. Their main priority was simply to secure the marriage certificate first.
Getting the license required choosing an auspicious date, meeting both sets of parents, and undergoing a pre-marital medical check.
While the check-up wasn’t mandatory, and Qing Lin was confident in Shen Xuzhi’s health, neither of them had a physical examination in years. Jiang Liao suggested they just treat it as an experience and come to his clinic to get it done.
Then Jiang Liao sent over a long infographic detailing the precautions and things to note for the pre-marital check.
[Dr. Jiang Liao: The check-up items are exactly as I told you. The image I sent lists the precautions.]
[Dr. Jiang Liao: I’m sure you both know basics like eating lightly before the check-up or coming on an empty stomach, but you must pay close attention to item number eight.]
[Dr. Jiang Liao: No sexual activity for three days before the check-up! No sexual activity! No sexual activity!]
[Dr. Jiang Liao: Both of you need to abstain properly! Do you understand?!]
Both men were young and passionate. Qing Lin was home for the summer, and Shen Xuzhi had been working from home recently. The two would often start kissing while looking at each other, so things had indeed been a bit frequent.
Jiang Liao didn’t trust them and booked their appointment time in advance, forcing them into three days of abstinence beforehand.
The three-day countdown to the day of the medical check-up quickly arrived.
Shen Xuzhi had an unavoidable magazine photoshoot and had been working out of town for several days. The moment it ended, he rushed home, still wearing the makeup and styling from the shoot.
This time, his look was “wet hair,” combed back with a few strands falling over his forehead, strikingly set against the deep black of his outfit.
Shen Xuzhi looked at the soft person who had just finished showering and was waiting for him at the front door. He lowered his eyes, pulled open his collar, and leaned down, ready to kiss him.
Qing Lin was embraced, and the man’s powerful fingers dug deep into his hair, the pads of his fingers gently massaging his scalp.
But the lips that drew near were suddenly covered by a pair of hands.
Qing Lin covered Shen Xuzhi’s mouth, leaning back to evade him. “Shen Laoshi, abstinence.”
Warm, moist breath brushed against Qing Lin’s heated skin. He kissed Qing Lin’s palm, but still entwined, leaned in again. “Let’s start tomorrow.”
A light breath grazed Qing Lin’s cheek, coaxing a faint blush, yet his voice remained perfectly calm: “No.”
Shen Xuzhi hadn’t touched Qing Lin for several days either. He pretended not to hear, cupped Qing Lin’s bottom, and lifted him up. With his other hand, he loosened his own collar, exposing the clean line of his Adam’s apple, which rolled up and down, as he pressed Qing Lin onto the sofa.
“The check-up with Dr. Jiang was already scheduled.” Qing Lin was amused by his actions, arching his back before being lifted again and held tightly in Shen Xuzhi’s embrace.
Shen Xuzhi licked the corner of his own mouth, his eyelashes lowered, and his gaze softened into a faint shadow.
The heat between them rose gradually. Shen Xuzhi kissed Qing Lin’s collarbone, and Qing Lin instinctively pushed him away again.
“…Shen Laoshi…” Qing Lin gritted his teeth, slumping onto his chest, his warm breath filling the air. “Do you still want to get the marriage license with me?”
Shen Xuzhi froze instantly. “Yes, I do.”
“I won’t move.”
He stood, holding Qing Lin’s gaze for a long moment, then buried his head in his neck, grumbling like a spoiled puppy: “How is anyone supposed to hold back?”
Shen Xuzhi hugged Qing Lin tightly, clinging like a big dog. His short hair brushed against Qing Lin’s face. “You smell sweet after your shower,” he murmured.
“You’re sweet too,” Qing Lin replied, patting his back.
“Oh?” Shen Xuzhi teased.
Qing Lin laughed. “Because people in love smell the same.”
Shen Xuzhi was amused by him. He sat upright while still holding Qing Lin and instinctively leaned in to kiss him.
His lips were mere millimeters away, but he stopped again.
Shen Xuzhi lowered his eyes, his upper lip brushing the full bow of Qing Lin’s lip, and whispered a question. “Can we kiss?”
He added, “I missed you so much.”
Qing Lin couldn’t resist him like this, so he leaned in and pecked him, saying, “Only like this.”
Shen Xuzhi was teased again. He held Qing Lin and kissed the side of his face, thought he was adorable, and lightly bit him. “Qing Lin, can I get a reward afterward?”
Qing Lin was hooked by his persistence, “What do you want?”
Shen Xuzhi didn’t speak, just smiled and looked at Qing Lin, completely silent.
Qing Lin seemed to know what he was thinking, and with a mix of shyness and annoyance, moved his face away. Then, he was completely swept up and carried back to the bedroom.
The day of the pre-marital check-up quickly arrived.
Shen Xuzhi and Qing Lin arrived at the hospital early. The blood tests and X-rays, done on an empty stomach, were completed quickly. Afterward, they ate a small snack and headed to the next department.
“The precautions the hospital gave you, you followed them carefully, right?” the doctor asked.
Shen Xuzhi and Qing Lin nodded.
“Good. Take your containers. I need at least 1.5 ml sample,” the doctor said. “Hmm… can you two share one room? The other one is still being repaired.”
Shen Xuzhi and Qing Lin exchanged a glance. For some reason, Qing Lin suddenly felt shy.
He had a bad feeling.
Sure enough, Shen Xuzhi answered calmly and naturally. “It’s fine, Doctor. We can use one room.”
“Oh, that’s good then. I was worried you young people might feel shy,” the doctor said with a smile. “It’s fine, don’t be nervous. Just let things happen naturally. There are plenty of props inside—they can be helpful.”
Then the doctor led the two men into the room and thoughtfully locked the door.
This was Jiang Liao’s private clinic, and it was certainly well-equipped. This sampling room was indistinguishable from a regular room, with a TV, cabinets, a sofa, and a bed near the window.
However, the TV screen displayed various dazzling short videos, the magazines in the cabinet were a riot of different colors, the sofa and the bed were covered with disposable blankets, and various props were placed on the storage table.
…It was all rather nerve-wracking.
This sampling room often saw things “get out of hand,” and those who understood the situation knew why.
Shen Xuzhi looked at the male model magazines. The thought of Qing Lin getting aroused by those made him feel uncomfortable.
He needed to be the one to do it.
Shen Xuzhi was thinking, just about to turn around and call Qing Lin, when a piece of gauze covered his eyes from behind.
Plunged into darkness, he instinctively held still. His hands were pulled behind his back by Qing Lin, and then tied with something that felt like a necktie.
Qing Lin stood behind Shen Xuzhi, tightened the knot of the tie, and then gave a push, pressing him down onto the bed.
Shen Xuzhi, blindfolded and hands bound, sat on the bed, tilting his head to ask Qing Lin: “What are you doing?”
Qing Lin didn’t speak. Shen Xuzhi only felt the mattress next to him sink deeply as Qing Lin knelt beside his hips.
The younger man stared at him for a long time, waved a finger in front of Shen Xuzhi’s eyes, made sure there was no reaction, then hooked his fingers into the hem of his shirt and slipped them underneath.
Shen Xuzhi tensed, instinctively lifting his head a little.
The overhead light outlined the long, sharp line of his jaw, which disappeared into shadow, extending from the prominent, rolling Adam’s apple down into his collar.
Seeing this reaction, a tingling sensation surged through Qing Lin’s heart. He knelt on Shen Xuzhi’s body, leaned down, and kissed him.
“Be a good boy and don’t move, or it’ll get very dangerous,” Qing Lin was clearly in a good mood, the ending syllable of his words curving upwards.
In the past, Shen Xuzhi was always the one to play these games with him. Now, Qing Lin wanted to take the lead.
Blindfolded and with his hands tied, there was nothing Shen Xuzhi could do.
Unfortunately, the man beneath him was uncooperative, not moving at all. Qing Lin pecked at Shen Xuzhi’s lips, which felt dry and stiffly pressed together. After a while, he went to touch the crease of his lips, gave a quick lick, and then lifted his head to look, feeling like something was still wrong.
Realizing Shen Xuzhi was doing this on purpose, Qing Lin pinched his thigh and said fiercely, “Open your mouth and let me kiss you.”
Shen Xuzhi finally surrendered, opening his mouth to let him kiss wildly. Qing Lin was still so unskilled, his tongue darting haphazardly, occasionally hitting his teeth and causing a tingling sensation.
As he continued kissing, his hand began to undo the buttons of Shen Xuzhi’s pants.
Shen Xuzhi’s breath hitched, and only when he was grasped did he instinctively thrust back a little. Every inch of skin pressed together was steaming with heat, and he let out a ragged gasp, his mind going blank for a moment.
Qing Lin looked at the container in his hand and praised, “Shen Laoshi is very healthy.”
Shen Xuzhi was made dizzy by this little tease, his ears burning scarlet, and his breathing rapid. Seeing Shen Xuzhi was blindfolded, Qing Lin became bolder.
He looked at the man’s face, slick with a thin layer of sweat, and gripped the container in his hand tightly.
He was actually still a bit embarrassed; it was a good thing Shen Xuzhi couldn’t see now, or he would be mortified again.
What Qing Lin didn’t know, however, was that the black gauze he had placed over Shen Xuzhi’s eyes did not block his vision at all.
Every one of his actions and expressions was seen clearly by Shen Xuzhi. His eyelashes were distinctly lowered, the smooth bridge of his nose was tinged with a rosy flush, and his neck shimmered with an alluring glow, the pink color winding its way down and disappearing into the crisp lines of his collarbone.
Shen Xuzhi: “…”
The necktie on his hands had also long since loosened. To play along with him, the bedsheet behind him was already crumpled with wrinkles from his own grip.
Qing Lin lifted himself slightly and glanced down. His head felt fuzzy; even though Shen Xuzhi was blindfolded, he felt more sensitive than usual.
Sounds were magnified, as if the sound of water was overflowing, slowly growing louder and echoing back into his ears.
“Don’t do anything reckless…” Shen Xuzhi stopped him with a choked voice.
Qing Lin lowered his head, holding his shoulder: “Didn’t it just finish?”
This was too tormenting; Shen Xuzhi was afraid he might hurt Qing Lin.
Qing Lin hadn’t stopped. Shen Xuzhi gritted his teeth and whispered, “I’m sorry.”
Qing Lin: “What?”
The next second, his body surged forward. Shen Xuzhi straightened his waist, wrapped his arms around Qing Lin’s back, pressed against his lower back, and tightened the embrace.
Qing Lin was startled: “You!”
“I’m sorry.” Shen Xuzhi lowered his head to kiss him. Qing Lin’s mind was a mess, his breathing completely disrupted, and then he was gently kissed on the corner of his bright eyes.
The color on Qing Lin’s earlobe spread all the way to his face. Only then did Qing Lin realize that the black gauze over Shen Xuzhi’s eyes was completely useless!
“Shen Xuzhi!” Qing Lin was so angry he kicked him, but Shen Xuzhi turned his head back, lowered his head to kiss him into silence. Qing Lin clearly felt his breath.
“You can be angry when we get home,” Shen Xuzhi said. “Can we do it once first?”
Qing Lin bit his lip tightly, his face red everywhere. After a moment of silence, he finally spoke: “Shen Laoshi… do you think you’re the only one who’s been holding back…”
