Enkar Region:

Located at the northernmost edge of the Oldrand territory in the northern part of the Francesca Kingdom, it’s an outpost area resembling a nearly isolated island on land. Further north lies the vast forest known as the Moltre Forest, which serves as the border with the neighboring Luxen Kingdom.

Monsters appear, making it difficult to construct highways, so the people of the pioneer village gradually dismantled them.

Enkar Village:

A village established by the initial pioneer group. Population exceeds 200.

The lord’s residence where Melfina lives is also located here.

Former serf settlement (Melto Village):

A village established anew after serfs were elevated to free citizens. It is located closer to the forest and newly developed fields than Enkar Village.

Oldrand Capital, Soarasonne:

The largest fortress city in the north, a major city where northern culture and arts converge. It expands radially like the formation of ice crystals, earning it the nickname “Great Flower of the North”.

Other towns and villages:

There are several towns and villages between Soarasonne and Enkar Village, where many procurements of goods, not requiring a journey to the capital, are often settled.

While there are magical attributes, it’s fundamentally a world without wars. Monsters also possess magical resistance, and private fights resulting in fatal injuries are frowned upon by the church and temples.

Magic is treated more like a skill or a certified profession, and nobles don’t usually indulge in it much.

Learning magic is not actively pursued; instead, honing sword skills takes priority. While having “talent” in magic is considered advantageous, it’s often treated as something useful to have but not necessarily utilized.
