Now, he had enemies.

And not just any few, but a whole slew of them.

Liu Shunyi was incredibly exhilarated.

It felt like suddenly becoming immensely wealthy after being impoverished before.

Of course, what Liu Shunyi needed to do immediately was leave swiftly.

After all, nearly every name on the Grand Dao Golden Book turned fucking golden.

He had to urgently find a place for secluded cultivation.

With this thought, Liu Shunyi took off running without delay.

In the blink of an eye, another month passed.

Liu Shunyi felt increasingly puzzled.

Logically speaking, after such a humiliating blow to the Heavenly God Cult, they should have harbored deep hatred towards him.

Yet strangely, during this period, the Heavenly God Cult remained unusually quiet.

“Something’s not right!” Liu Shunyi initially planned to focus on his cultivation, but now he found himself hesitant. With so many enemies at bay, there was no shortage of potential threats. His primary concern was understanding why the Heavenly God Cult hadn’t come after him yet.

His actions had undoubtedly offended the entire cult. However, their lack of immediate pursuit suggested that something more significant must be occupying them.

Realizing this, Liu Shunyi decided it was time to cause some disruption within the Heavenly God Cult’s affairs.

With that thought, he emerged from his hidden cave and ventured out.

As soon as he stepped outside, he was taken aback. The number of people in southern Qin Province had significantly increased. But that wasn’t the most striking aspect; what caught his attention were their serious expressions, with some even looking visibly troubled.

Suddenly, Liu Shunyi spotted someone unexpected – Zhao Qing!

Stealthily approaching her, he whispered, “The tender bud just peeks above the water!”

Zhao Qing looked at Liu Shunyi, disguised with a changed appearance, with surprise and suspicion.

“Lingered by dragonflies before unfurled?”

Liu Shunyi nodded affirmatively.

Zhao Qing glanced around cautiously and responded in a hushed tone, “Let’s find a different location!”

Liu Shunyi agreed with a nod.

Shortly after, Liu Shunyi and Zhao Qing arrived at a secluded teahouse.

They casually ordered some refreshments.

Zhao Qing smiled and said, “I didn’t expect to find you here.”

Liu Shunyi chuckled, “Neither did I think you would be visiting!”

Feeling somewhat helpless, Zhao Qing responded, “With the appearance of the ancient secret realm, as cultivators, how could we not come and investigate? By the way, what is your current cultivation realm?”

Liu Shunyi answered directly, “Intermediate Stage Foundation Establishment!”

Zhao Qing grinned mischievously, “I’ve already reached the Foundation Establishment Great Perfection, just on the brink of entering the Golden Core Realm. Brother Liu, you still have some work to do!”

Liu Shunyi smiled but avoided further discussion about realms.

“By the way, what’s going on with everyone lately? Why do they all seem so grim?”

As this topic arose, Zhao Qing’s expression turned serious as well.

“The emergence of this ancient secret realm holds immense significance. It’s not just the sects from Qin Province that are involved; numerous sects from beyond Qin Province will also arrive,” he explained. “In fact, even the Tianji Holy Land from Central Province is rumored to send representatives.”

Li Shunyi furrowed his brow.

His mind unlocked another new influential force, but for now, he remained silent and continued listening to Zhao Qing’s explanation.

Zhao Qing took a sip of wine before speaking again in a hushed tone.

“Truthfully, the Tianji Holy Land’s presence doesn’t come as a surprise to Qin Province’s Cultivators, nor is there much cause for panic.”

“The real issue lies with the Heavenly God Cult somehow aligning itself with the Tianji Holy Land and becoming their lackeys.”

“With the Heavenly God Cult acting as underlings to the Tianji Holy Land, this secret realm expedition could become unpredictably perilous!”

Liu Shunyi frowned deeply.

“Just how powerful is the Tianji Holy Land? For the Heavenly God Cult to be so formidable merely by being its lapdog?”

Zhao Qing gave Liu Shunyi a peculiar look.

“As a disciple of the Qinglian Sect, shouldn’t you have access to information about the Tianji Holy Land? Haven’t you reviewed it?”

Feeling somewhat at a loss, Liu Shunyi responded:

“Is it possible that even as a disciple of the Qinglian Sect, I wouldn’t have encountered such information?”

Zhao Qing glanced at Liu Shunyi and suddenly remembered something.

“Oh, right! You have a Mixed Spirit Root. I unconsciously assumed you had a similar Spirit Root like me!”

Liu Shunyi looked speechlessly at Zhao Qing’s slightly boastful expression.

“Alright, let’s start with explaining what exactly the Tianji Holy Land is all about!”

Zhao Qing tucked his hands into his wide sleeves, maintaining a composed demeanor as he began to explain.

“In simplest terms, the Tianji Holy Land is akin to a dynasty within the entire cultivation world, although the cultivation world doesn’t formally follow such political structures.”

“As for how powerful the Tianji Holy Land truly is, consider this: even a small, obscure sect that manages to establish a slight connection with them would rapidly transform into another version of the Qinglian Sect in no time!”

Liu Shunyi was astounded.

“So it’s like that!” He pondered over his Grand Dao Golden Book, lost in thought.

“If I were to inscribe the entire Tianji Holy Land into my Grand Dao Golden Book, wouldn’t I become invincible?” A spark of excitement ignited within him, yet he remained remarkably calm.

However, there was one aspect Liu Shunyi couldn’t quite comprehend.

“If what you say is true, wouldn’t it mean that whenever Tianji Holy Land visits, all sects in Qin Province would desperately try to curry favor with them?”

Zhao Qing nodded affirmatively.

“Exactly right.”

Liu Shunyi furrowed his brow.

“Then why did the Heavenly God Cult emerge as the ultimate winner? What did they do differently?”

With a gleeful tone, Zhao Qing replied:

“Instead of directly courting the Tianji Holy Land, it’s more effective to win over the individuals representing them!”

“I’ve heard that the esteemed guest sent to Qin Province has a voracious appetite for both women and men alike.”

“As you know, the Heavenly God Cult went to extreme lengths; not just humans but even slaughtered numerous boars recently, all to satisfy this nobleman’s desires – no easy feat indeed!”

Liu Shunyi remained speechless, realizing the truth in those words.

Moreover, Zhao Qing shared another explosive piece of information with Liu Shunyi.

“Have you heard of Abe Onisha?”

Liu Shunyi nodded.

Smiling, Zhao Qing continued,

“Actually, the reason behind the Heavenly God Cult so swiftly becoming the nobleman’s lapdogs largely stems from none other than this Abe Onisha!”

Liu Shunyi was taken aback.

“How so?”

Zhao Qing involuntarily shuddered.

“That esteemed lord has a penchant for watching twisted performances, especially those utterly depraved.”

“So, Abe Onisha with dogs, Abe Onisha with horses, cows, and even…”

Liu Shunyi listened, completely astounded.

“Damn! Despite being different worlds, these little cherry blossoms still indulge in such perverse activities.”

Of course, Liu Shunyi wasn’t concerned about how the Heavenly God Cult pleased envoys from the Tianji Holy Land. What worried him was the potential trouble that would arise if they became their loyal hounds.

He voiced his concern to Zhao Qing, who hesitated briefly before responding.

“There’s no survival for small sects, and even large sects will face immense difficulties.”

Liu Shunyi pondered for a moment.

“What if someone from the Tianji Holy Land were to meet their demise here?”

Zhao Qing took a deep breath.

“The entire Qin Province would be doomed!”

Liu Shunyi fell silent, contemplating the gravity of the situation.
