The gourd also inherited his Thunder Rush Sword and Lament Sword abilities.

However, the techniques employed by these two Life Source Magic Treasures were entirely different.

Despite both being variations of the Thunder Rush Sword:

Azure Wandering Sword’s activation involved generating complete sword beams, even forming a vast sword net.

In contrast, the gourd emitted Sword Qi directly through its opening with a rapid “takatakataka…” sound, akin to a Gatling gun.

Moreover, Liu Shunyi integrated his understanding of electromagnetic force into his Life Source Magic Treasures.

This led to an astonishing discovery.

When concentrating electromagnetic force within the gourd to its peak before releasing it,

a colossal beam capable of extinguishing heaven and earth erupted forth.

“Wow, a massive railgun!”

Similarly, when focusing electromagnetic force with the Azure Wandering Sword and unleashing it,

“Boom~”

A gigantic mushroom cloud instantly soared upwards.

“Holy crap, I seem to have developed two extraordinary weapons!”

Liu Shunyi pondered for a moment.

He then placed the Azure Wandering Sword inside the gourd.

Next, he ignited his magical energy, pushing the electromagnetic force to its maximum between them, and finally attempted to launch the combined power.

“Whoosh~”

All Liu Shunyi saw was a flash of white light.

A moment of silence ensued.

“Huh?” Liu Shunyi was bewildered.

What just happened?

The fusion should have resulted in an even more terrifying power, not a misfire. This didn’t make sense.

As Liu Shunyi pondered his confusion, the space before him suddenly shattered. The rift grew larger until, at a certain point, a massive vulture emerged from the fractured dimensions and plummeted to the ground with a thunderous crash.

Liu Shunyi stared in disbelief.

For atop the vulture’s head, lodged firmly, was the Azure Wandering Sword.

He retrieved the sword, gazing thoughtfully at the monstrous creature that had once decimated the Alliance of Sects on the battlefield.

“Am I really this formidable?”

Liu Shunyi then turned his gaze towards Shi Changxin in the distance.

“You’ve truly surprised me. With your soul damaged to such an extent, you’re still coherent enough to summon that monster!”

Shi Changxin looked at Liu Shunyi with shock in his eyes.

“Who… exactly are you? And those two Life Source Magic Treasures, what exactly are they?”

Liu Shunyi did not answer Shi Changxin’s questions but instead smiled warmly at him.

“You’re quite impressive, already reaching orange color!”

Shi Changxin appeared perplexed by Liu Shunyi’s response.

What did he mean?
What colors?

Liu Shunyi chuckled mischievously.

“Actually, my Life Source Gourd is an extraordinary treasure with an additional unique ability!”

Shi Changxin looked utterly perplexed.

Without further ado, Liu Shunyi controlled the gourd and aimed it at Shi Changxin.

“Whoosh… Bang…”

In an instant, Liu Shunyi absorbed Shi Changxin into the gourd.

Just as Ye Yan had described, within the gourd lay a world.

However, it wasn’t just any small world; there were thirty-six distinct worlds inside.

Each world existed independently from the others.

“What an incredible treasure indeed!” At the same time, Liu Shunyi addressed Shi Changxin, “From now on, you’ll serve me forever within this gourd as my tool. Don’t worry, I won’t mistreat you. Whenever I come across something valuable, you’ll be the first to benefit!”

Shi Changxin felt his future plunge into darkness instantly.

“No, Senior, I know I was wrong! Please let me out, I swear I won’t reveal anything about you. I can take an oath!” he pleaded desperately.

Liu Shunyi laughed scornfully. “Your choices are simple: live miserably within my gourd or face death!”

Realizing that pleading for mercy was futile, Shi Changxin decided to self-destruct.

Yet no matter how hard he tried, his spiritual energy showed no response whatsoever.

“You, you devil!” Shi Changxin finally realized his predicament.

Within this gourd, he had lost all control over his fate.

His life or death now rested solely on Liu Shunyi’s whim.

Desperately, Shi Changxin fell to his knees, eyes wide with terror.

“Ha ha ha, ahahahaha…” He erupted into hysterical laughter.

He had gone mad!

Liu Shunyi was taken aback.

“Damn, is your Dao Heart that fragile?”

Quickly, Liu Shunyi fed him a Spirit Awakening Pill with intricate pill markings.

As soon as Shi Changxin swallowed it, clarity returned to his eyes.

“No, how can you still make me lucid? You… Ah…”

Shi Changxin repeatedly banged his head against the rocky walls of the gourd world.

However, for a Nascent Soul cultivator, feigning death was clearly impossible.

Shi Changxin once again crumbled mentally.

Liu Shunyi promptly administered another Spirit Awakening Pill.

Shi Changxin regained consciousness, only to collapse anew.

Feeling helpless, Liu Shunyi continued feeding him more Spirit Awakening Pills.

This time, Shi Changxin remained silent and sat motionless on the ground.

Liu Shunyi sighed deeply.

“Well, it seems impractical to keep you captive like this. Without purpose, knowing the darkness ahead, there’s no reason to continue living. Once the desire for death takes hold, you become truly useless!”

Shi Changxin let out a bitter smile.

“You’re right!”

Finally, Liu Shunyi shook his head.

“Since I have a kind heart, I’ll end it for you!”

Shi Changxin hesitated momentarily before responding, “Thank you…!”

Meanwhile, Liu Shunyi sat cross-legged on the ground.

He began to burn his essence, divine soul, and physical body for cultivation purposes.

With each passing moment, Shi Changxin’s body visibly withered, gradually turning into a desiccated corpse.

Eventually, he crumbled into dust.

As a result, Liu Shunyi’s cultivation base directly reached the peak of the Intermediate Stage Golden Core.

Upon completing his cultivation session, Liu Shunyi observed Shi Changxin’s name fading away, feeling somewhat regretful.

“You could have continued growing, but your excessive killing spree, along with knowing too much, left me no choice but to end this!”

Simultaneously, Liu Shunyi sensed the significant increase in his cultivation base, which astonished him deeply.

By burning the divine soul, essence, and flesh of a Nascent Soul Cultivator as fuel, absorbing spiritual energy from the heavens and earth, it took merely one day to reach the Intermediate Stage Golden Core.

“Hmm, if I continuously consume Nascent Soul Cultivators, couldn’t I rapidly advance to the Nascent Soul stage?”

This thought excited Liu Shunyi.

Immediately, he started seeking new targets.

In the blink of an eye, three years had passed.

Liu Shunyi found himself in another region of Qin Province, somewhat bewildered.

He encountered a significant issue:

“Damn it!”

Not only was there a scarcity of Nascent Soul cultivators, but even finding those at the Golden Core Realm was rare.

Moreover, upon reaching the Golden Core stage, he realized that individuals below this realm didn’t qualify for the Grand Dao Golden Book selection process.

To his surprise, Lin Wu Dao’s name, once orange, had now turned purple.

“What the hell?!” exclaimed Liu Shunyi, preparing to return home.

He finally understood why most cultivators in Qin Province stayed in its northern half; the southern part was genuinely impoverished.

Just as Liu Shunyi was about to leave, a major event unfolded in the southern region of Qin Province.

“The ancient ruins have appeared!” someone shouted, causing a frenzy throughout Qin Province!

Immediately after,

Liu Shunyi witnessed countless rifts opening up in the sky.

Then, sect members on flying boats emerged from these voids.

What astonished Liu Shunyi the most was spotting Qinglian Sect’s flying boat led by Zhao Gou.

The sight of Zhao Gou instilled fear and respect in representatives from other sects alike.

Liu Shunyi, utterly perplexed, could only stare.
