When Liu Shunyi regained consciousness once more,

he found himself in a barren wasteland.

As far as his eyes could see,

there was nothing but endless yellow sand, stretching across a vast desert.

Liu Shunyi swallowed nervously.

“Where has that brat taken me? Is this still within Qinglian Sect territory? What the hell?”

Liu Shunyi was utterly bewildered.

The key issue was that, damn it, there wasn’t a trace of spiritual energy in this place.

“Is that old bastard trying to exhaust and kill me outright?” Liu Shunyi’s expression darkened.

Without hesitation, he began controlling his sword for swift travel.

There was no other choice.

At that moment, what he feared least was depleting his spiritual power.

For one, his enemies constantly replenished him, and even if they didn’t, his Storage Bag contained countless Qi Recovery Pills.

His primary concern now was to swiftly exit this desert.

Liu Shunyi frantically controlled his sword, flying madly in a single direction.

He fully mobilized his cultivation base, complemented by the Blood Combustion Divine Fist technique.

With each burst of speed, he resembled a streak of crimson lightning, vanishing instantly from sight.

However, much to his dismay,
the desert was vast.

Liu Shunyi flew relentlessly for three days and nights,
yet still did not manage to escape it.

Despite this, Liu Shunyi’s initial anxiety transformed into remarkable calmness.
He realized that he wasn’t feeling thirsty at all.

In essence,

he didn’t need to drink water whatsoever.

Meanwhile, Shi Changxin’s name continued to flash brightly on the leaderboard.

Seeing this, Liu Shunyi smiled.

“Ah, I didn’t see that coming!”

There was another reason Liu Shunyi remained unperturbed. Before entering the secret realm, Ji Suying had provided him with a map. On this map, there was information about the very desert he found himself in.

It mentioned that within the Heavenly Fire Secret Realm lies a vast desert. The outer regions of the desert lack any spiritual energy; however, this is because its center hosts a natural large spirit gathering array. Due to the concentration of spiritual energy at the core, the surrounding area has formed into this expansive desert.

Moreover, rumors persisted that if one could locate the desert’s heart, they would discover inexhaustible reserves of Spirit Stones and countless varieties of spirit herbs.

However, this desert was vast.

No disciple could survive within it for long.

Survival itself became a challenge.

Hence, reaching the desert’s center seemed impossible.

But Liu Shunyi was different – he had cheats on his side.

Even better, he didn’t need to advance his Spirit Root.

For someone with such game-breaking abilities, did the quality of their Spirit Root truly matter? Absolutely not.

If he could find the desert’s center, achieving Foundation Establishment would be virtually guaranteed.

With this thought in mind, Liu Shunyi couldn’t help but study the map and set course towards the heart of the desert.

Since he didn’t have to worry about depleting his spiritual power, Liu Shunyi once again ignited his vital essence, even risking the consumption of magical energy, all to swiftly reach the desert’s core.

At that moment, Shi Changxin was frantically drinking water.

Not only was he drinking, but his face had turned deathly pale, almost frightening to behold.

Shi Changxin consumed blood pills while gulping down water.

“Here it fucking comes again!” He felt extremely miserable.

Damn it, this happened multiple times each month, leaving him with an indescribable sense of disgust. However, this time seemed even worse than before.

Not only was his vital essence evaporating inexplicably, but his magical energy was rapidly dissipating as well.

“What the fuck is going on?” Shi Changxin’s expression was utterly bewildered.

Observing Shi Changxin from the side, the crow appeared puzzled and scratched its head with a wing.

“I’ve never seen such a situation before, but somehow, I don’t think it’s related to the Blood Demon Art!”

Frustrated, Shi Changxin asked, “Then tell me, what exactly is happening to me? Don’t say it’s some kind of possession!”

The crow pondered for a moment before responding, “Is there a possibility you truly have been possessed?”

With a weak thud, Shi Changxin slumped onto the ground, feeling drained.

“Don’t bullshit me! Focus on stabilizing my condition first, okay? If we don’t find a solution soon, I might die from excessive blood loss!”

The crow nodded and produced a blood-red stone.

“Absorb and refine this!”

Without hesitation, Shi Changxin swiftly sat cross-legged and began refining the blood stone.

However, something even more terrifying unfolded. As Shi Changxin continued to refine the blood stone, his own blood evaporated at an increasing rate.

To make matters worse, due to repeatedly using the Blood Demon Art to replenish his blood for extended periods, the technique unexpectedly broke through to a higher level.

But with this breakthrough, his blood evaporated even faster.

Shi Changxin stared wide-eyed at the crow.

“You still claim it’s not your Cultivation Technique causing this? My fucking Blood Demon Art just advanced, yet my blood is evaporating at an alarming rate now!”

Even the crow was taken aback, not expecting such talent from Shi Changxin in mastering the Blood Demon Art. No, he should be considered monstrous.

Remarkably, Shi Changxin had reached the second layer of the Blood Demon Art within less than a year of practice.

But why would refining the Blood Demon Art cause blood evaporation? The crow found himself utterly perplexed.

“Hold on, let me think!” With that, the crow handed another blood stone to Shi Changxin.

At this point, Shi Changxin’s lips were parched and cracking.

“Stop thinking for now, first bring me a bucket of water!”

“Ah, okay!”

However, what followed left the crow utterly astonished.

Shi Changxin submerged himself entirely into the water barrel.

The crow observed as Shi Changxin simultaneously refined blood stones to replenish his vital energy and drank water frantically.

“How can you be so thirsty?”

Shi Changxin took a deep breath. “With so much essence blood evaporating, it’s natural that I’m dehydrated!”

The crow nodded. “Hmm, makes sense!”

But then, the crow felt genuinely concerned.

As Shi Changxin suddenly broke through to the third layer of the Blood Demon Art.

His absorption rate of blood stones dramatically increased,

Yet, the evaporation speed of his blood also accelerated once more.

“What exactly is happening here?” The crow was filled with confusion.

Meanwhile, Shi Changxin had become so weak that he could no longer even refine the blood stones.

“Forget this, I’m exhausted. Let it all end!” Shi Changxin resigned himself to despair.

He stopped drinking water; at that moment, death seemed preferable.

Realizing the urgency, the crow swiftly assisted in refining another blood stone.

Shi Changxin truly possessed monstrous talent; his cultivation speed with the Blood Demon Art was unparalleled.

Therefore, the crow couldn’t afford to let Shi Changxin die.

After some thought, the crow produced yet another golden-yellow stone.

“This contains the blood of the ancient Shaking Head Great Monster. Hopefully, it will aid you!”

With that, the crow began helping to refine the golden blood stone.

Instantaneously, a surge of immense vital energy rushed into Shi Changxin’s body.

The previously lifeless Shi Changxin regained color within moments.

Not only did he recover, but he also felt his physical strength rapidly increasing.

Shi Changxin’s eyes widened in surprise, and without delay, he sat cross-legged, fully focusing on activating the Blood Demon Art.

“Boom~”

In an instant, Shi Changxin’s Blood Demon Art broke through once again-or rather, multiple breakthroughs occurred consecutively. Eventually, he pushed the art to its absolute pinnacle.

Although the Blood Demon inside him continued evaporating, now,

At this point, Shi Changxin didn’t care anymore.

He was now completely unfazed by the evaporation of his blood.

In fact, the more it evaporated, the better he felt!
