Extra Chapter: 14/20

Liu Shunyi was genuinely furious.

He had always treated his brother well,

Yet, that very same brother tried to kill him.

If not for being at Hidden Sword Peak,

Liu Shunyi would have unsheathed his sword and ended it there.

“What utter nonsense!” Liu Shunyi seethed with anger.

Shortly after,

Liu Shunyi returned to his assigned room on Hidden Sword Peak.

As he approached,

he heard faint giggles from within.

“Hm?”

Confused, Liu Shunyi checked the disciple badge on his door.

It clearly displayed his name, but what was happening inside?

His fury intensified.

With a loud “Bang!”, he kicked open the door.

“Who’s there?!”

The sudden commotion startled the couple inside, eliciting cries of alarm.

A flurry of rustling sounds followed.

Moments later,

a disheveled disciple emerged.

Seeing only a Qi Refining Fourth Layer disciple, he instantly grew enraged.

“You little punk! You’re courting death, ruining my…”

Before he could finish,

Liu Shunyi slapped him across the face.

The disciple spun uncontrollably,

crashing heavily onto the ground.

“You fucking dare to hit me!” The disciple struggled to rise again.

But as soon as he got up,

Liu Shunyi grabbed his face firmly.

“Crash~”

The disciple’s head slammed into the wall!

Then, yanked out once more.

“Crash~”

Again, viciously pressed against the wall.

And…

Repeating this sequence seven times.

Finally, the disciple couldn’t withstand it anymore,

his eyes lifeless as he collapsed onto the floor.

Meanwhile, the female disciple inside was terrified beyond words.

As Liu Shunyi entered,

she shrank fearfully against the wall.

Enraged by the sight of his bed in disarray,

Liu Shunyi barked, “Clean it up with your tongue!”

The female disciple’s face turned pale.

“Alright, alright!” she stammered.

The next day.

The snow ceased.

The sun emerged in the sky.

Liu Shunyi pondered over a question.

By all logic,

shouldn’t he be able to feel the cold?

Is this normal?

At that moment, Liu Shunyi was immersed within the Grand Dao Golden Book in his mind.

Currently, Shi Changxin’s name still glowed with a purple hue.

Indeed, it made sense.

He had already accessed Shi Changxin’s page.

So why could he still experience the chill?

Isn’t feeling cold considered negative?

After some thought,

Liu Shunyi realized there might be an issue.

It seemed true; he indeed could perceive temperature changes.

Temperature variations aren’t inherently negative.

If that’s the case,

what if an enemy cast a Magic Spell causing extreme temperature rise or drop?

Wouldn’t he potentially perish instantly?

Just as this concern crossed Liu Shunyi’s mind,

he suddenly felt a gentle warmth.

“Hmm?”

Liu Shunyi was taken aback.

At that moment, he hastily stepped outside his room.

“It’s not cold anymore, truly not even a bit!” Liu Shunyi’s eyes sparkled.

“Could it be that some negatives, which I perceive as such, still hold true?”

With this thought, Liu Shunyi pondered:

“My current card cultivation base – isn’t that also a negative!”

However…

There was no ‘however’!

Alright, it indeed seemed quite unrealistic.

Subsequently, Liu Shunyi decided to ignore these concerns for now.

His immediate priority was to swiftly accumulate more merit points.

Last time in Kangzhuang City, he earned a total of one hundred thousand merits.

Unfortunately, that amount wasn’t even enough for a fraction of a Foundation Establishment Cultivation Technique, let alone the Foundation Establishment Item itself.

Hmm.

Although he couldn’t afford the Foundation Establishment Item yet, at least he could go take a look.

With this idea in mind, Liu Shunyi promptly left his quarters and headed straight towards Hidden Sword Peak’s Treasure Pavilion.

It must be said, the Treasure Pavilion was truly expensive.

The Treasure Pavilion was truly ruthless.

Just entering cost five thousand merit points.

Damn!

That’s equivalent to my entire month’s food allowance.

However, upon stepping inside Hidden Sword Peak’s Treasure Pavilion, Liu Shunyi felt it might be worth the price.

The variety of items within was astounding, dazzling with abundance.

“Woah!”

Liu Shunyi rubbed his eyes, questioning if he had misseen something extraordinary.

What did he just witness?

The peak’s treasured artifact at Hidden Sword Peak…

Was fucking a sword.

“The Azure Wandering Sword!”

Is this for real? Liu Shunyi couldn’t believe it.

He even thought that perhaps it was merely a coincidence in names and likely not the same legendary blade he imagined.

But at that moment,

Ji Suying’s voice suddenly echoed.

“Judging by your reaction, you seem quite familiar with this sword?”

Recognizing Ji Suying, Liu Shunyi hastily bowed.

“Greetings, Senior Sister!”

Ji Suying waved her hand dismissively.

“This sword was passed down by our first-generation Peak Lord and is considered the treasured artifact of Hidden Sword Peak!”

“Of course, it’s not for sale. The Old Peak Lord once stated that whoever can draw this sword, shall rightfully possess it…”

With a swift sound,

“Liiing~”

Liu Shunyi effortlessly pulled out the Azure Wandering Sword.

He then stared incredulously at Ji Suying.

“What?”

Ji Suying gazed dumbfoundedly at the Azure Wandering Sword now held by Liu Shunyi.

Feeling uneasy, Liu Shunyi hastily returned the sword to its sheath.

“Senior Sister, what did you say just now?”

Ji Suying collected herself, took a deep breath, and reached out to pull the sword as well.

However, no matter how hard she tried, the sword refused to budge.

“Try again!” Ji Suying urged Liu Shunyi.

Liu Shunyi nodded.

“Liiing!”

The longsword slid smoothly from its sheath.

Then he reinserted it back in.

Liu Shunyi continuously repeated this action, drawing and sheathing the sword with ease!

“Stop! Stop!”

Ji Suying rubbed her temples.

“You can take this sword with you!”

“Oh!” Liu Shunyi didn’t seem particularly thrilled.

To him, there was nothing extraordinary about this sword. If anything, its only uniqueness was being exceptionally long!

Seeing Liu Shunyi’s dissatisfaction, Ji Suying couldn’t resist the urge to give him a good thump.

“The Azure Wandering Sword has one hundred and eight restrictions placed upon it. Only by unlocking these restrictions can you unleash its true power.”

“However, use this sword sparingly, unless absolutely necessary!”

Liu Shunyi nodded in understanding.

“Oh, I assume you entered the Treasure Pavilion seeking a Foundation Establishment Item, right?”

Liu Shunyi scratched his head.

“Senior Sister, how do you know everything?!”

Ji Suying chuckled softly.

“Don’t be cheeky, follow me!”

Liu Shunyi complied with a nod.

Shortly after,

Ji Suying guided Liu Shunyi to the area designated for Foundation Establishment Items.

As they walked, Ji Suying began introducing them:

“This is Heavenly Oneness True Water. Using this treasure for Foundation Establishment grants innate affinity with water, even allowing control over water flows as weapons during combat.”

“And here’s Xuan Metal!”

“With this item, one gains exceptional offensive power, typically favored by sword cultivators.”

“Additionally, there’s Celestial Heavenly Estrangement Wood, Golden Crow Fire, Life Transformation Earth…”

Each Foundation Establishment Item here was extraordinary, capable of limitless growth potential.

It was clear that Liu Shunyi desired all of them.

However, upon checking their prices, he realized he couldn’t afford any.

Even the cheapest Foundation Establishment Item started at a staggering five hundred thousand merit points.

Suddenly, Liu Shunyi spotted a bead, his eyes lighting up instantly.

“A Primordial Bead!”

Ji Suying smiled.

“This Foundation Establishment Item is quite mysterious, as no one has successfully used it without fatal consequences. Those who attempted it usually met untimely deaths.”

“As for its actual effects post-Foundation Establishment, I’m not entirely sure myself!”
