Without further ado, they each stepped through a different portal.

Liu Shunyi stepped through one of the light portals and found himself inside a cave.

Within it, an elderly man was seated cross-legged.

Initially, his eyes were closed, but sensing someone’s presence, he opened them, looked at Liu Shunyi, and began to smile broadly.

Without hesitation, Liu Shunyi thrust two fingers into the old man’s mouth, tearing it wider apart.

The old man’s eyes widened in shock.

“Ah…”

He jumped up, visibly enraged, pointing at Liu Shunyi with muffled cries.

Although unintelligible, Liu Shunyi could guess they were likely vulgar curses.

Moments later, the old man’s wound healed.

Glaring furiously at Liu Shunyi, he asked, “Young man, do you have some sort of issue?”

Smiling, Liu Shunyi replied, “Apologies, I couldn’t resist when I saw your crooked grin!”

Taking a deep breath, the old man said, “Very well, young man. The fact that you’ve reached this point indicates some skill. However, if you wish to truly enter Giant God City, you must pass my test!”
