This Novel will be a very short one with only about 42 chaprters in total. Still translating will be a bit slow since I'm only shoving it into any available schedule I have. For some reason, even when I said I wanted to take a break, when one novel finished I still stalk the NU forums for novel pick-up updates.

Fang Baijing slept restlessly. It was only six in the morning when he was violently startled awake from his dream.

He blamed this on having dreamed of Fu Feng last night, and now he was being held by Fu Feng around the waist, forced to curl up in his arms.

Fang Baijing’s breathing was uneven, rising and falling with the movement of his body. Half a year had passed, but Fang Baijing still had a fresh memory of that time.

He remembered being dizzy with anger. His previously favorable impression of Fu Feng instantly vanished, and he turned, slammed the door, and walked out.

But the moment he stepped out the door, as if sensing a vague premonition, Fang Baijing stopped and turned his head.

Fu Feng was still sitting in his original spot. His expression showed no ripple of change, but Fang Baijing felt so scrutinized that he backed up two steps, hands and feet turning cold—Fu Feng gave him the feeling of the king of the forest in a desolate jungle.

Fang Baijing’s sixth sense had always been accurate.

He was not quite sure how he had provoked Fu Feng, but the one thing he was certain of was that he seemed to have really run into trouble.

Fang Baijing appeared calm on the surface, but inwardly he was already a panicked mess. He secretly gripped the door frame tightly.

He tried hard to straighten his back, not wanting Fu Feng to see his weakness, and stubbornly cursed again to save face: “Disgusting!”

Leaving aside what happened later, the result was this: whether Fang Baijing wanted it or not, he still had to sleep next to Fu Feng.

Thinking of this, Fang Baijing ground his back teeth. However, he was not as afraid of Fu Feng anymore.

He had not gotten enough sleep and had been woken by a nightmare, so why did Fu Feng get to sleep so soundly?

Fang Baijing was not polite; he elbowed backward with a heavy thud and said irritably: “Stop sleeping!”

Fu Feng was a light sleeper to begin with. He had been woken the moment Fang Baijing first stirred, and he had assumed Fang Baijing would go back to sleep, so he had not moved.

Now, having been inexplicably hit, Fu Feng was not angry.

He turned Fang Baijing’s body, which was facing away from him, back around. The central air conditioning was set to twenty-six degrees, keeping the room neither cold nor hot.

The blanket was silk, and it slid down easily with the slightest movement.

Fu Feng tucked the corner of the blanket back around him and asked: “Who made you angry?”

Fang Baijing bit his lip, becoming even angrier, but he could not just say, I dreamed about you last night and it scared me awake.

He glared at Fu Feng: “No one made me angry!” Fang Baijing nonsensically lifted his foot and kicked Fu Feng, saying with a displeased look: “Go sleep on the floor!” He pulled the blanket, stealing Fu Feng’s share too. “I can’t sleep with you.”

Fu Feng stated calmly: “You slept very soundly last night.”

Fang Baijing stiffened his neck and shamelessly continued: “I’m uncomfortable sleeping now!”

There was a wall clock hanging there. Fu Feng looked up—it was not yet six fifteen.

Fu Feng asked again: “Can’t sleep?”

“Yes!” Fang Baijing nodded decisively. “Can’t sleep. Go sleep down below.”

The moment he finished speaking, he was pulled over by Fu Feng, blanket and all. The silk blanket wrapped around him like a silkworm cocoon. Fang Baijing instinctively grabbed the corner of the blanket.

Fang Baijing vaguely knew what was coming next, because the look in Fu Feng’s eyes was exceptionally familiar—the meaning of which any man would understand.

His face changed drastically. He tore the blanket off and took off running, but unfortunately he tripped over the blanket, which was binding him like a restraint.

This left him like a lamb that had fallen into the wolf’s mouth.

Fu Feng hugged his waist and lowered his eyes to take off Fang Baijing’s clothes. Fang Baijing struggled violently, unconsciously trembling a little unconsciously: “I… don’t want to! You were just the day before yesterday…!”

He could not finish the rest of the sentence. His lips were blocked by Fu Feng, and no matter how unwilling he was, his clothes were peeled off again.

After half a year, Fu Feng knew his body well. They were actually very compatible in this regard. Aside from being insatiable, Fu Feng actually cared a lot about his feelings. At the very least, he made Fang Baijing comfortable.

Fang Baijing heard the familiar sound of a drawer being pulled open again. With Fu Feng’s movements, his body trembled more and more violently. His nails, which had not been trimmed yet, scratched Fu Feng’s shoulder.

Unconsciously, Fang Baijing left a few red marks on the broad shoulder, like he had been scratched by a cat.

His initially arrogant voice diminished, finally turning into a soft sob.

Fang Baijing was so tired he could not even lift a finger. Fu Feng, accustomed to it, picked him up and took him to the bathroom for a shower.

The broad shoulders and back of Fu Feng were covered with fresh teeth marks, all bitten by Fang Baijing just now.

He disliked making sounds and liked to bite his own wrist. Fu Feng would then grab his wrist and make him bite his shoulder instead.

After the shower, Fu Feng carried Fang Baijing back to the bed again, like carrying a doll.

Fu Feng enjoyed taking care of Fang Baijing.

Although Fang Baijing felt awkward, he was too lazy to struggle and let Fu Feng choose a new set of pajamas for him.

He was lazily thinking of going back to sleep when he saw Fu Feng walk over with a necktie.

Fu Feng had some strange obsession. Ever since they got together, Fu Feng required Fang Baijing to tie his tie every day.

Fang Baijing was reluctant at first, thinking it was too effeminate. So the first time Fu Feng asked him to tie the tie, Fang Baijing deliberately tied a crooked, messy knot.

Fu Feng then patiently postponed his morning work and spent the entire morning in the room teaching Fang Baijing how to tie a knot, starting with the Windsor knot. He held Fang Baijing’s hands, guiding him to tie the tie while speaking the instructions softly into his ear.

Fang Baijing snatched the tie from Fu Feng’s hand. Though he felt lazy, he propped himself up.

With a sour face, he said: “Lower your head.”

After Fu Feng bent down, Fang Baijing roughly looped the tie around his neck, tying a knot without hesitation. While adjusting the height of the knot, Fang Baijing gritted his teeth and whispered into Fu Feng’s ear: “…I’m going to strangle you one of these days!”

Fu Feng knew his outwardly tough but inwardly weak personality perfectly. He said “Mm” lightly, contentedly stroked Fang Baijing’s head, and suggested: “You can try.”

Fu Feng left, leaving Fang Baijing alone to vent his rage by throwing things around the room. He accidentally pulled a muscle in his waist and winced, his features contorted in pain.

Fang Baijing suppressed his fury, lay back down, and simply closed his eyes to sleep again.

Fu Feng was somewhat effective; Fang Baijing slept very soundly during this nap.

But then he dreamed of the person he least wanted to dream about—still Fu Feng.

This time he dreamed that he had just caused trouble and was completely shaken, with only Fu Feng to rely on.

He unconsciously nodded to everything Fu Feng said.

Fang Baijing knew what he had done, and coupled with Fu Feng’s intentional or unintentional fear-mongering, he vaguely felt his life was in danger.

After all, he was only a young man of twenty, and had been overly protected by his family.

With no one familiar around, Fang Baijing instinctively grabbed the corner of Fu Feng’s clothes. His fingers were still trembling like fallen leaves.

Fu Feng’s movements paused, and he clasped Fang Baijing’s hand in return.

He did not initiate a hug; his actions were clumsy, but he slowly pulled Fang Baijing into his arms.

“Don’t be afraid.” Fu Feng’s voice was still cold. He seemed innately incapable of comforting people, but his words were reassuring. “I will protect you.”

In some ways, Fu Feng was actually quite a gentleman.

After Fang Baijing rejected him the previous time, Fu Feng did not appear in front of him. Even after Fang Baijing got drunk, he did nothing.

But Fu Feng’s line, “Be with me,” seemed to be a dividing line.

The first day Fang Baijing agreed, Fu Feng took him to bed. He cried exceptionally miserably that day.

Tears streamed down from his eyes uncontrollably, perhaps from humiliation, or perhaps because it genuinely hurt too much.

Fu Feng’s finger brushed his outer eye corner, and then he suddenly kissed his tears away. He softly coaxed him—“Don’t cry. Don’t be sad. I will treat you very well.”

Fang Baijing was startled awake for the second time today. He touched the corner of his eye. He had empathized too much with his dream self; his eye corner was faintly moist.

He lay in bed alone in silence for a long time.

When he first agreed to be with Fu Feng, Fang Baijing had spent a long time mentally preparing himself.

Because Fang Baijing knew very clearly that he liked girls. No matter how handsome or good-looking Fu Feng was, he was still a man.

Fang Baijing’s chest heaved. He discovered with horror—his body seemed to have accepted Fu Feng even before his will did.

Fang Baijing’s Adam’s apple bobbed. He violently threw off the blanket, got out of bed, and rushed to the adjacent washroom, splashing cold water on his face.

He looked up and saw his slightly red eye corners in the mirror, along with the love bites that could not be hidden by the collar of his pajamas.

Fang Baijing retreated a few steps. He only used to dream of Fu Feng often right after they got together.

Now the long-vanished nightmare suddenly returned, suffocating him, as if vaguely hinting at something.

Fang Baijing felt he needed some time alone. In other words, Fu Feng made him unhappy, and he deeply hated the feeling of weakness he had in front of Fu Feng.

He did not have to film today.

Fang Baijing rummaged through the wardrobe, found a baseball cap to put on, and then looked for a face mask.

The villa was empty. The only thing present was breakfast in a thermal bag on the table. Fang Baijing did not even look at it as he rushed out the door.

The instant he opened the door, the smart butler inside the house emitted a mechanical voice: “Master, may I ask where you are going?”

Fang Baijing’s steps paused. Based on past painful lessons, he hesitantly backed up.

He ran back into Fu Feng’s study, grabbed a pen and paper at random, and wrote down “I’m going to see Grandpa” in a grand flourish.

Fang Baijing ran back to the living room, folded the large A4 paper, and stealthily tucked it under the corner of the table.

Having done all this, Fang Baijing clapped his hands and stood up easily.

If things went south and Fu Feng asked about it, he could just say he left a note, but it must have accidentally been blown away by the wind.
