Spoiled - Chapter 41
Author’s Note: Save me, how do I cure insomnia?
It was very late when they came out of the Science Lab building. There was nothing left to do, and Fang Baijing couldn’t even be bothered to reply to Xiao Jing’s messages, so he simply went home with Fu Feng.
The moment he stepped into the bedroom, Fang Baijing remembered Fu Feng’s two words, “Tonight.”
His wrist was immediately seized by Fu Feng, whose thumb lightly rubbed his wrist bone. After kissing for an hour that evening, Fang Baijing’s lips were already numb, but Fu Feng relentlessly pressed closer. He pinned Fang Baijing against the door, placing his palm behind Fang Baijing’s head as their lips sealed tightly together.
Fang Baijing’s hands gripped Fu Feng’s tie, his fingers unconsciously twisting it. He was left breathless from the kissing.
Fu Feng’s suit jacket fell to the floor, quickly followed by the white formal wear falling on top of the black suit.
Fang Baijing was wearing a shirt underneath. Fu Feng’s distinctly-jointed fingers touched the fabric, patiently unbuttoning it one by one. He was much rougher when stripping off his own clothes, pulling with such force that he nearly ripped the buttons off his shirt. Fu Feng’s palm traced every inch of Fang Baijing’s skin.
Fang Baijing was very sensitive; he involuntarily curled up, and the skin Fu Feng touched turned pink. Under the intense stimulation, Fang Baijing’s body curled up tighter and tighter, but was simultaneously forced open by Fu Feng.
He choked back tears and whispered, “Fu Feng…”
His mouth was suddenly covered gently by Fu Feng’s hand. Fang Baijing instinctively stuck out his tongue and licked it.
“Mm,” Fu Feng hummed. He held Fang Baijing tightly and coaxed him, “Yangyang, meow again.”
Fang Baijing looked at him incredulously. He felt that Fu Feng’s request was somewhat outrageous, yet it was exactly the kind of thing Fu Feng would demand.
“Yangyang.” Fu Feng pressured him to speak since he wasn’t answering. Their breathing grew heavier.
Fang Baijing hadn’t trimmed his nails recently, and the marks he dug into Fu Feng’s body became increasingly obvious.
Fu Feng’s voice was hoarse. He wiped the fine sweat from Fang Baijing’s forehead: “Just meow once.”
Fang Baijing finally couldn’t hold back. His voice was tearful and seemingly full of shame as he let out a soft “Meow.”
The first meow led to several more. Men, at a time like this, always seemed prone to base instincts. Fu Feng was no exception; he just loved hearing Fang Baijing cry and call out like that.
After taking a shower, Fang Baijing lay exhausted on the bed. Every part of his body ached. He looked down at his collarbone; even it was covered with hickeys.
Fang Baijing’s eyelids were fluttering. He really wanted to sleep, but he vaguely remembered something he needed to tell Fu Feng.
As Fu Feng held him in his arms, Fang Baijing mumbled sleepily, “Fu Feng, I’m joining the crew in a few days.”
“Mm,” Fu Feng stared at Fang Baijing’s long eyelashes. “I know.” How could he not know about Fang Baijing’s affairs?
“The script added a scene.” While talking, Fang Baijing proactively hugged Fu Feng’s waist. He lightly rubbed his head against Fu Feng’s body and whispered, “They added a kiss scene, just kissing the cheek, the kind where you can fake the angle.”
Fu Feng’s eyes narrowed slightly. The hand that was rubbing Fang Baijing’s earlobe paused. He seemed to be fighting a psychological battle. Fang Baijing had already made an obvious concession, and Fu Feng didn’t want to make him unhappy.
After a while, Fu Feng bent down and gave Fang Baijing’s lips a long, lingering kiss, then said menacingly, “If she kisses you once, I’ll kiss you a hundred times.”
When Fang Baijing woke up the next day, he found many missed calls on his phone, all from Xiao Jing. He planned to pretend he hadn’t seen them, but Xiao Jing called again. Fang Baijing’s hand trembled, and he accidentally answered.
His voice was reluctant: “What do you want?”
“I’ve been calling you since 9 PM last night, and you’re only answering now at 12 PM?” Xiao Jing scoffed. “If someone hadn’t seen you get into Fu Feng’s car, I would have thought you were kidnapped.”
“Why would anyone kidnap me? I’m not some rich young master.”
Xiao Jing became expert at being passive-aggressive: “You aren’t, but Fu Feng is. Let him ransom you.”
“Are you insane!” Fang Baijing cursed expressionlessly. “Hanging up.”
Every time Fang Baijing engaged in something intense with Fu Feng, he needed several days to recover and adjust, and this time was no different. He suspected Fu Feng had calculated the dates precisely, because by the time Fang Baijing was due to join the crew, he no longer felt uncomfortable at all.
Cai Jie came to pick him up today.
Fang Baijing bent down and sat inside the car. He rubbed his eyes and asked, “Is Ning Ning finished with her work?”
Ning Ning was the female lead in the drama, and she was from the same school as Fang Baijing; strictly speaking, Ning Ning was Fang Baijing’s junior.
“She’ll join the crew a few days after you. She’ll come over once she’s done.”
Fang Baijing mumbled an “Mm.” He noticed Cai Jie was smiling and couldn’t resist asking impishly, “Sister Cai, you’re in a good mood today?”
Cai Jie chuckled a few times: “Not bad. I picked up a cat a few days ago. It’s especially cute and clingy.”
“…” Hearing the word “cat” made Fang Baijing feel completely uncomfortable.
He shrank back and muttered softly, clearing his throat, “Don’t talk about it. I don’t like cats.”
“You don’t like cats?” Cai Jie’s expression was surprised. “Didn’t you always say you wanted to raise one? Why the sudden change?”
Fang Baijing compressed his lips. He stared expressionlessly at the scenery outside the window and said, “I just don’t like them anymore.”
Fang Baijing joined the crew early, and the first scene he filmed was about school bullying. He took his work seriously and disliked using a stunt double, so he personally performed most of the hitting scenes. The actions in filming had techniques, but he still inevitably suffered some injuries. Fang Baijing had a tendency to scar, so injuries were particularly visible on him. He had several bruises on his body.
Fu Feng’s eyebrows furrowed tightly as he applied medicine. He asked with distress, “Can’t you use a stunt double?”
“I don’t want to,” Fang Baijing’s face was buried in his crossed arms, and he said in a muffled voice, “It’s not a difficult move. I just have to endure it.”
Fu Feng tightened the cap on the ointment. He pursed his lips and said: “But it hurts me.”
Fang Baijing climbed up from the bed and knelt on it, leaning towards Fu Feng. He kissed Fu Feng’s lips and said, “A kiss will make the pain go away.”
Fu Feng’s arm wrapped around Fang Baijing’s waist. Their noses rubbed intimately together. He asked, “How many kisses do you need?” He held Fang Baijing’s face to his shoulder and whispered, “Why don’t you bite me? Bite me as hard as you are hurting.” Fu Feng’s voice was serious, not like he was joking.
Fang Baijing playfully took a bite, but the tooth marks he left were shallow. He laughed and scolded, “Fu Feng, you’re crazy!”
Ning Ning joined the crew shortly after.
The scene changed from Fang Baijing being beaten alone to the two of them being beaten together, though Ning Ning’s hits were smaller and lighter.
They had met before when they were at school together and had even participated in activities, so they naturally became familiar upon meeting on set. Fang Baijing was one year older than Ning Ning, but his nature was more childish than hers. Since the drama was set in a school, most of the actors were young, in their early twenties, and easily mingled together.
They were filming night scenes today, and after they finished, they agreed to go out for BBQ together. The owner of the BBQ joint near the film studio was used to celebrities and didn’t react much upon seeing them. Halfway through the meal, Fang Baijing keenly looked up at the street across the way. He seemed to have seen a flash of light, and he frowned: “Did we get photographed?”
“Who cares!” the second male lead said. “The roles have already been officially announced. It’s nothing even if this gets released.”
“Yeah, yeah, we’re just having a BBQ,” Ning Ning rolled her eyes. “Is the current public opinion so strict that we can’t even eat BBQ?”
“Haha, I doubt it,” someone chimed in. “The photo probably won’t even make it to the top trending topics.”
He must have jinxed it, because the topic did trend, but not about them eating BBQ. Instead, it was a photo of him and Ning Ning.
Fang Baijing saw the hot search while still on set.
In the middle of the day, someone burst into laughter: “What the heck! We were just joking yesterday about not trending, and now it is? Seriously, this paparazzi is really skilled at cropping and creating stories.”
Fang Baijing opened Weibo upon hearing this and saw the pinned message with the title: “Fang Baijing and Junior Ning Ning Develop Feelings On Set, Meet in Private.”
“…” He opened the Weibo topic expressionlessly.
There were photos of him and Ning Ning. First, a production still released by the crew, showing him secretly looking at Ning Ning from the stairs. Then there was the photo taken by the paparazzi last night. They had blurred out everyone else, leaving only Ning Ning and Fang Baijing. Due to the angle, the photo showed Fang Baijing and Ning Ning’s heads close together. It was a GIF too, showing Fang Baijing smiling and seemingly saying something to Ning Ning.
Fang Baijing mentally matched his mouth shape and guessed what he had said. If he wasn’t mistaken, it was likely—”Ning Ning, I think your makeup is caking.”
Fang Baijing just felt speechless. This matter would be easy to clarify, as they still had their group photo from last night. But Fu Feng suddenly called.
“Hello?” As soon as Fang Baijing answered, he immediately explained, “It’s fake. It’s nothing at all.”
Fu Feng’s voice was deep: “I know it’s fake.” He paused, then continued, “I’m outside the gate. Can you come out?”
Fang Baijing was an expert at interpreting Fu Feng’s words. Fu Feng’s message roughly translated to: Yes, I know it’s fake, but I’m still unhappy about it.
Fang Baijing smiled, then suddenly got up and walked out.
“Baijing!” The second male lead called out, puzzled. “Where are you going? We still have a scene to shoot.”
Fang Baijing signaled him to hush. He covered the phone and said, “Something came up. I need to step out briefly. I’ll be right back.”
He had to go placate a big vinegar jar, and if he failed, he was doomed tonight.
Storyteller Valeraverucaviolet's Words
This Novel will be a very short one with only about 42 chaprters in total. Still translating will be a bit slow since I'm only shoving it into any available schedule I have. For some reason, even when I said I wanted to take a break, when one novel finished I still stalk the NU forums for novel pick-up updates.
