This Novel will be a very short one with only about 42 chaprters in total. Still translating will be a bit slow since I'm only shoving it into any available schedule I have. For some reason, even when I said I wanted to take a break, when one novel finished I still stalk the NU forums for novel pick-up updates.

Fang Baijing pursed his lips slightly, his expression one of unprecedented solemnity and seriousness. He had secretly practiced many times at home, and his playing technique showed no sign of rustiness. When the piece ended, the applause below the stage roared like a sea tide.

Fang Baijing’s height was a little greater than before, but his features were as clear and handsome as they had been years ago. He walked to the center of the stage, his figure in the white formal suit perfectly matching his past self. Standing under the spotlight, he finished his final bow, then couldn’t help but look up at the second floor again—Fu Feng was still there.

Fang Baijing’s lips curved up. When he smiled, he had a strong youthful charm, much like a little sun, just as his name suggests.

Amidst the clamoring crowd, his and Fu Feng’s gazes met once more, wordlessly sharing a secret that belonged only to the two of them.

After finishing his performance, Fang Baijing returned to his seat.

Xiao Jing slapped him on the shoulder: “Not bad, Fang Baijing! You’ve still got the flair you had back then! I remember after you played, so many girls would ask for your contact information, and they gave you that cheesy nickname ‘Piano Prince.’ Looks like you haven’t lost your dazzling charm, eh?” He stared at Fang Baijing’s face and suddenly grew agitated: “How come you look like you haven’t changed much?!”

“Are you sick?” Fang Baijing frowned. “I’m twenty-one this year, not thirty-one. I won’t age that badly yet.”

“Well, I’m only twenty-one too!” What he meant was not that Fang Baijing’s appearance hadn’t changed, but a feeling—it was mystical, but Xiao Jing just felt that the pure, youthful spirit in Fang Baijing hadn’t diminished at all.

Fang Baijing’s phone suddenly vibrated. He lowered his head and glanced at it.

[Fu Feng: Come to the classroom where you used to play the piano often. ]

He guiltily covered his phone, looking around as if trying to plug his ears. Then he suddenly stood up.

Fang Baijing patted Xiao Jing on the head and offered a casual excuse: “I’m going to the restroom.”

Despite saying he was going to the restroom, Fang Baijing’s steps instead led him out of the auditorium.

He hadn’t been back to school in a long time, but he was still very familiar with the school’s layout. Fang Baijing took a shortcut and walked into the Science Lab building. The lights weren’t on inside the Lab building; it was pitch black, with only the green safety exit signs blinking in the stairwell. Walking in was initially a bit eerie.

Fang Baijing involuntarily softened his steps as he walked up the stairs. On the second floor, only one classroom was lit up conspicuously. Without even thinking, he pushed the door open and walked in.

The moment his toe crossed the threshold, he was suddenly swept into an embrace by Fu Feng. Fu Feng was standing in the corner, leaning against the wall, and reached out to hug Fang Baijing from behind.

Fu Feng asked near his ear, “When did you prepare this?”

Their current spot was likely a blind spot for surveillance cameras. Before Fang Baijing could answer Fu Feng’s question, Fu Feng began to kiss his lips again, covering his mouth. It was a mix of kissing and nibbling.

Fang Baijing’s lips, unlike his personality, were soft and addictive. The familiar numbness spread across his lips again. Fang Baijing only dared to firmly grasp Fu Feng’s sleeve. He didn’t dare to move recklessly, afraid of being exposed on camera. Because of this situation, Fang Baijing was exceptionally compliant.

Fu Feng told him to open his mouth, and he did. Fu Feng told him to use his tongue, and he did. He kissed Fang Baijing for as long as he said.

Fang Baijing lost track of time; he could only smell Fu Feng’s scent. He was being kissed by Fu Feng in his arms. A bead of sweat rolled from Fang Baijing’s nose and brushed against Fu Feng’s nose tip. Fu Feng reached out and hugged the somewhat weak-kneed Fang Baijing.

Fu Feng called out intimately, “Yangyang, will you play it for me again when we get home, alright?” His voice was deep and hypnotic as he spoke to Fang Baijing: “Play it only for me. Don’t let anyone else hear it.”

Fang Baijing was dazed from the kiss. He leaned against Fu Feng’s chest and replied with a sleepy hum.

He was led by Fu Feng out of the Lab building.

The cold wind rushing into his collar snapped Fang Baijing back to reality. Fang Baijing was still wearing Fu Feng’s jacket. He instinctively pulled out his phone and glanced at it. An hour had passed since he came out. That is to say, he and Fu Feng had done nothing but kiss, stopping and starting, for an hour.

… No wonder his legs felt a little numb from standing.

Xiao Jing had also sent him a barrage of messages, like a maniac.

Fang Baijing’s eye twitched, and he clicked to read them.

[Xiao Jing: The auditorium doesn’t have a restroom?]

[Xiao Jing: Why the heck are you walking outside?!]

[Xiao Jing: Ten minutes passed, aren’t you coming back?]

[Xiao Jing: Twenty minutes now.]

[Xiao Jing: Thirty minutes!]

[Xiao Jing: Did you and Fu Feng go to do it…?]

[Xiao Jing: You guys… took a long time. Fu Feng must be quite the man.]

Fang Baijing’s eye twitched even harder after reading the string of messages, and his ears instantly flushed bright red.

He stopped and glared at Fu Feng: “Why did you kiss me for so long?!”

“I wanted to,” Fu Feng’s Adam’s apple bobbed. “I couldn’t help it.”

“What’s so great about kissing?!”

“Didn’t you like it?” Fu Feng’s expression seemed puzzled. He bent down slightly and gently reminded Fang Baijing near his ear, “You had a reaction just now.”

Fang Baijing was like a cat whose tail had been stepped on. He angrily slapped away the hand holding his: “Go away! Your reaction was much bigger just now! You kept pressing against me! It made me so uncomfortable!”

Fu Feng pulled his hand back, gave a simple “Mhm,” and began tracing circles on Fang Baijing’s palm: “Tonight.”

He only said two words, and the rest was understood.

Fang Baijing stammered for a long moment before finally blushing and saying, “Oh.”

A shadow suddenly darted out in front of them from the grass, startling Fang Baijing a few steps backward. He then made out the long tail standing upright in the darkness.

Fang Baijing smiled in surprise. He crouched down and saw it was a calico cat. He called out, “Little Flower (Xiao Hua).” It was the same cat that had been around the school for years. He hadn’t expected Xiao Hua to still be here, and it even looked a few pounds fatter than before. Fang Baijing had fed it throughout his three years of high school.

Xiao Hua stared blankly at him from a distance for a long time. As if recognizing him, it slowly walked over to Fang Baijing with a cat-like stride and rubbed its head against his leg. It wasn’t afraid of people.

Fang Baijing reached out and, just like he used to, gently squeezed Xiao Hua’s soft toe beans. He shook Xiao Hua’s paw, then tilted his head, looked at Fu Feng just like the cat did, smiled at the corner of his lips, and mimicked a cat’s sound: “Meow.”
