This Novel will be a very short one with only about 42 chaprters in total. Still translating will be a bit slow since I'm only shoving it into any available schedule I have. For some reason, even when I said I wanted to take a break, when one novel finished I still stalk the NU forums for novel pick-up updates.

Author’s Note: Just an ordinary sweet romance writer.

After Fang Baijing saw clearly what clothes Fu Feng was holding, his face alternated between red and white.

He reacted violently, resisting: “Fu Feng! Are you a pervert?!”

Fu Feng held up the school uniform, making it more visible in front of Fang Baijing. He lowered his eyes and said, “I want to see it.”

This time, Fang Baijing looked determined to fight to the end: “Like hell, you will! Go dream about it!”

He quietly glanced down at the uniform, catching sight of the school number and name on the chest. He was immediately flooded with memories of his youthful days wearing it. Beyond that, indescribable suggestive thoughts flashed through Fang Baijing’s mind, and the more he thought, the worse it got, showing subtle signs of distress.

He shouted, his face beet red, “I’m telling you, don’t even think about it! If you want to wear it, you wear it yourself!” A fleeting image of Fu Feng in a school uniform crossed his mind, and Fang Baijing found that weird too. He quickly changed his mind: “You don’t wear it either!”

Fang Baijing turned his head and met Fu Feng’s deep gaze. His scalp tingled. He stuck his neck out and continued, “You’re twenty-four, and I’m twenty-one. We’ve been away from high school for a thousand years! Why would we wear a school uniform?!”

Men always understand men best. Noticing Fu Feng’s gaze growing darker, Fang Baijing’s internal alarm bells rang loudly. He performed a quick sit-up and prepared to bolt.

Before he could run off the bed, Fu Feng wrapped his arms around his waist. He was pulled down forcibly and landed on Fu Feng’s lap. Fu Feng’s hand rested on his waist and asked, “What are you running for?”

“…” The difference in strength was too vast. Fang Baijing tried to break free from Fu Feng’s embrace several times but couldn’t escape. He was forcibly switched to a new position on the bed by Fu Feng. Fu Feng could restrain the struggling him with just one hand.

The moment he saw Fu Feng reach for the uniform, he knew he was going to use force. Fang Baijing kicked Fu Feng a few times in a fit of powerless rage. He knew he couldn’t escape this today; either way, the outcome would be the same.

He gave up struggling, weakly wiggled his fingers, and said through gritted teeth, “I’ll put it on myself!”

Fang Baijing was slightly taller than he was in high school, but only by a few centimeters. When ordering the uniform, he had intentionally ordered one size up for comfort. He reached out and put on the school jacket.

Fang Baijing suddenly realized something. He sniffed his nose keenly, looked up, and glared at Fu Feng: “Tell me, why does this smell like laundry detergent?” Fang Baijing pounced on Fu Feng, clawing and snapping, biting his shoulder, and demanding, “How long have you been planning this?!”

The uniform had been stored in the closet for so long; it should have smelled of mothballs, but this jacket didn’t. Instead, it had the fresh, clean scent of laundry detergent. Fang Baijing immediately recognized the smell—it was the scent of his usual clothes. This meant Fu Feng had been scheming for who knew how long!

Fu Feng caught the pouncing Fang Baijing. He knew Fang Baijing wouldn’t bite hard, and he let him slobber all over his shoulder, leaving a small tooth mark.

Fang Baijing’s gaze shifted to Fu Feng’s Adam’s apple. It was very prominent, especially when looking only at his neck connected to his shoulder, creating a unique sex appeal.

Fang Baijing, who knows what he was thinking, suddenly leaned over and bit Fu Feng’s Adam’s apple.

He heard Fu Feng’s breathing suddenly deepen. Fu Feng grabbed the back of his neck and pulled him away. “Don’t bite just anywhere.” Fu Feng’s voice held a slight warning.

When he said that, Fang Baijing became unhappy. He squinted his eyes, poked Fu Feng with his finger, and stated matter-of-factly, “Is there any part of you I can’t bite?”

Fu Feng narrowed his eyes and stared at him.

Fang Baijing was already wearing the school uniform. His habit of wearing the uniform hadn’t changed; it was the same now as it was then. He never zipped up the jacket. Perhaps he did it before to show off the clothes he wore underneath, and now perhaps because he felt embarrassed to zip it up. But the effect was the same.

After all these years, Fang Baijing had been protected so well by his family and Fu Feng that his eyes still held the purity of a young man. His features also leaned toward the boyish side. After all these years, Fang Baijing seemed not to have changed at all. Fang Baijing was still the teenager who would skip his lunch break to play the piano or tease stray cats downstairs. He hadn’t changed in the slightest. Fang Baijing had never learned how to scheme. He always possessed the enthusiasm and honesty of a young man, which was the thing Fu Feng loved most about him.

He lowered his head and kissed Fang Baijing’s nose. Fu Feng asked, “Do you still remember what you told me before?”

Fang Baijing blinked, his expression genuinely confused and not guilty: “What did I say?”

“You used to say,” Fu Feng paused, shortening the words Fang Baijing had spoken, “that if you thought my piano playing was nice, just come over if you wanted to listen; I’d always be there.” He gently pushed the dazed Fang Baijing onto the bed and kissed him tenderly: “I remember.”

Fang Baijing briefly recalled the memory. When he suddenly came to his senses, he realized his top had been lifted by Fu Feng at some point, leaving his chest cold, but the school uniform was still properly worn. This feeling was too… strange. He tried to treat the school uniform like a normal sports jacket, but his eyes kept inadvertently catching the name on the chest.

Fang Baijing raised his hand, attempting to cover his face, but before he could, Fu Feng pulled it away. Fu Feng’s kisses landed on his thin eyelids, then briefly touched his perky nose, and finally, he kissed him fiercely. Fang Baijing tightly shut his eyes, his face an unnatural red. He hooked his arms around Fu Feng’s shoulders, seemingly hanging his entire body weight on Fu Feng.

The blue and white school uniform was half on, half off his body the whole time. Fu Feng initially helped pull the jacket back onto his shoulder when it slipped, but later, perhaps because his hands were busy, or perhaps he didn’t want to, he just watched the uniform slide down Fang Baijing’s body, finally stopping halfway at his bent arms, the bottom hem hanging naturally.

Fang Baijing eventually cried. He was always prone to crying.

Fang Baijing still had one day to rest before his audition.

That day, he wore a sulky face and made Fu Feng help him cover the love bites on his neck.

Fu Feng learned quickly. After watching a video tutorial, he could apply concealer evenly and smoothly. He reached out to adjust Fang Baijing’s collar, then kissed Fang Baijing’s lips and said, “Call me when you’re done, and I’ll pick you up.”

“No need,” Fang Baijing raised his hand and rubbed his neck, getting powder on his hand. “I’ll just have Ji Weile send me back.”

Fu Feng insisted, “I’ll pick you up.”

Fang Baijing hadn’t quite adjusted to this change in roles yet. He was about to blurt out a refusal, but suddenly remembered he was now enjoying dating Fu Feng. He nodded demurely and said, “Fine, but remember to bring me a box of watermelon when you pick me up. Could you pick out the seeds for me? Seedless watermelon isn’t as sweet as the seeded kind.”

“Mm.” Fu Feng would always agree to Fang Baijing’s unreasonable demands.

The audition today was for a movie about school violence. Fang Baijing really liked the script. The role he wanted to try out for was the male lead, a very complex character. Due to various reasons, he was subjected to a lot of unfair treatment, even physical abuse. The male lead was inherently timid. After getting used to this treatment, the thing he was best at became enduring it. But then the female lead appeared. She was clean and beautiful, and her white shirt was always the cleanest. The female lead was a transfer student, and the male lead first experienced kindness from her. She handed the male lead a handkerchief. The male lead quietly started to like the female lead, often secretly watching her. The male lead originally thought things between them would always be this way—he standing in the unseen corner, secretly watching the female lead, and the female lead forever standing in the bright light, unable to see him. But because the female lead rejected a boy’s confession, she fell to the same plight as him. The male lead learned to discard his timidity and fought back for the female lead for the first time.

Overall, this was a role completely opposite to Fang Baijing, whether in personality or family background; nothing about it matched Fang Baijing. Fang Baijing hesitated for a long time when selecting the script. His previous roles received good reviews because they subtly mirrored him. He finally decided to give it a try. Fang Baijing was an actor; they should be able to portray roles completely unlike themselves vividly, as if those characters truly lived.

Fang Baijing was very nervous during the audition. He got into character quickly, as always, but Fang Baijing knew he was still missing something when playing this role.

After it was over, he called Fu Feng. Hearing the discouragement in his tone, Fu Feng asked, “Wasn’t it very smooth?”

“Sort of.”

Fu Feng said calmly, “Don’t be sad. If you like the role, I can make sure it’s yours.”

“Fu Feng!” Fang Baijing always disliked this kind of behavior. “That’s not fair.”

Fu Feng paused before saying, “Got it.”

Fu Feng arrived quickly.

The first thing Fang Baijing saw when he got into the car was a box of watermelon in his hand. Watermelon in October was not usually very sweet, but Fang Baijing just wanted to eat it. The watermelon Fu Feng bought was cut into cubes, and all the seeds had been picked out. He used a toothpick to stab a piece and brought it to Fang Baijing’s mouth.

Fang Baijing chewed for a long time with puffed cheeks. After the flavor subsided, he swallowed it.

“Is it good?”

Fang Baijing didn’t answer his question. Instead, he stared intently at him for a long time. As if he suddenly remembered something, he called out softly, “Fu Feng.”

“What is it?”

Fang Baijing’s voice was even softer, so light it could be carried away by the wind. His ears were as red as the watermelon: “You haven’t called me Yangyang in a long time, have you?” The moment he said it, Fang Baijing regretted it again. “I didn’t mean I want to hear it!” Fang Baijing insisted, “I just asked casually! Just casually!”
