She Is Seriously Ill - Chapter 32
Chapter 32
Be my sugar baby. (Flashback Chapter)
The phone on the cabinet finally quieted down, falling silent as the footsteps outside the door gradually faded away.
Yet within the room, certain things were slowly spiraling out of control.
With her last shred of rationality, Jiang Chen pressed down the hand attempting to slip beneath her clothes, letting out a soft murmur as she forcefully turned her head away.
Her breathing was uneven, panting heavily as she shot Chen Guo a sharp glance. …Enough!
Chen Guo slightly lowered her head, the undisguised desire and madness in her eyes startling.
After only a moment’s hesitation, she reached out to grip Jiang Chen’s chin, turning her face back before pressing another insistent kiss against her lips, nibbling and grinding.
…Mmph.
Jiang Chen was kissed until her whole body went soft, her chin tilting upward uncontrollably as the hand restraining Chen Guo unconsciously loosened its grip.
Chen Guo easily withdrew her hand from beneath Jiang Chen’s, but didn’t let it wander further.
Instead, she interlaced their fingers, slowly slipping her own between Jiang Chen’s until they were palm to palm.
After what felt like an eternity, when Jiang Chen was nearly breathless from the kissing, Chen Guo finally released her.
But the heated atmosphere in the room lingered long after.
Chen Guo buried her face in the crook of Jiang Chen’s neck, her breathing gradually steadying.
She gently squeezed Jiang Chen’s fingers. Be my sugar baby.
Jiang Chen froze for a moment before opening her eyes to stare at the ceiling, blinking slowly. You’re so young—can’t you have some ambition?
Chen Guo replied flatly, It’s precisely because I’m young that I have advantages.
Chen Guo lifted her head to look at Jiang Chen’s face. Anyway, I’m always using your money.
Jiang Chen met her gaze for nearly ten seconds before saying abruptly, I asked our homeroom teacher for your final exam results. You did well in math.
Even with her lie exposed so bluntly, Chen Guo showed no trace of guilt or embarrassment.
She gently pressed a finger to Jiang Chen’s lips, her gaze following the motion. Mm, can’t you tell I’ve been trying to reel you in all along?
Jiang Chen’s throat moved as she averted her eyes. Get off. You’re crushing me.
After a glance, Chen Guo slowly rolled off, curling up slightly like a baby as she nestled against Jiang Chen’s side.
I know I can’t compare to her, so I don’t expect you to like me. Just let me stay by your side—let me talk with you when you’re bored…
Chen Guo wanted to list more of her advantages but suddenly stopped. It seemed all she could do was serve as a distraction.
Fortunately, Jiang Chen didn’t mock her this time, only turning to look at her as if giving a warning. I can’t give you anything.
Chen Guo remained silent. Jiang Chen slowly turned her head back to gaze at the ceiling, speaking softly, My sister lost her leg because she went looking for me after I ran off after school. It’s my fault. I won’t do anything that would make her unhappy.
Jiang Chen’s tone was calm, summarizing everything in just a few casual sentences, but Chen Guo knew that what Jiang Chen had endured over the years was far more than what her detached words suggested.
Chen Guo sat up and kissed the corner of Jiang Chen’s mouth, as if comforting her. I won’t pressure you.
Jiang Chen’s eyelashes seemed to tremble. Noticing this, Chen Guo leaned in to kiss her eyes.
… Jiang Chen found herself unable to refuse, closing her eyes in despair as the last remnants of reason struggled within her. What we’re doing is wrong.
Chen Guo paid no mind, directly silencing her with a kiss. Jiang Chen, you have no idea how much I like you.
This was the first time Chen Guo hadn’t called her aunt, addressing her by name instead.
Jiang Chen’s heart trembled inexplicably, her voice shaking. This… isn’t right.
Chen Guo didn’t respond, instead tentatively licking at the seam of her lips, voice hoarse. Teach me one more time.
Jiang Chen glanced at Chen Guo, feeling as if she were being seduced, and slowly parted her lips.
They lost count of how many times they kissed that night. In moments of surrender, Jiang Chen’s mind alternated between clarity and willful denial.
Ultimately, she truly wasn’t some principled good person, nor a responsible elder.
A responsible elder shouldn’t succumb to temptation and become entangled with a child.
Nor should she, in such moments, catch sight of Chen Guo’s face, remember her identity, and genuinely feel an indescribable thrill.
Finally growing impatient, Jiang Chen pushed Chen Guo’s head away. Haven’t you had enough?
Chen Guo blinked. Uncomfortable?
Mm. Jiang Chen closed her eyes and responded softly.
Chen Guo lowered her head, quietly burying her face in Jiang Chen’s neck. Sorry, it’s my first kiss. I got too excited.
Jiang Chen’s eyelid twitched, her throat suddenly dry. You’ve never kissed anyone else?
No. Chen Guo lay against Jiang Chen, breathing heavily before falling silent for a few seconds. Have you… done it with others?
Jiang Chen’s expression froze, taking several seconds to process the question.
She slowly turned her face, eyes fixed on Chen Guo with profound calmness.
After a pause, she suddenly laughed, deliberately flippant. What? Feeling shortchanged?
Chen Guo shook her head, nuzzling deeper into Jiang Chen’s neck like a child begging for candy. Can you stop seeing her from now on?
Aside from work requirements, Jiang Chen privately didn’t want unnecessary meetings with Lu Tong either. But for some reason, she didn’t want to say this in front of Chen Guo.
Saying it would feel like making some sort of promise, and she disliked anything that created entanglement.
They remained silent for half a minute before Chen Guo slowly lowered her eyes, voice tinged with loneliness. Online rumors say you only like older women.
Jiang Chen chuckled. You believe that?
Chen Guo didn’t respond.
Stop reading those tabloid leaks. Jiang Chen closed her eyes. They’d been crazy enough tonight, and now she felt utterly exhausted. She pushed at Chen Guo’s arm. Go back to sleep.
Chen Guo didn’t move. I’m sleeping here.
To take care of you.
