Luo Ning pinched Mu Chengfeng’s face, pulling it into a funny shape, and said sourly, “You seem quite popular. People can see you can’t walk anymore.”

Mu Chengfeng removed his hand, took it to his mouth, and kissed it. Once he realized what he had done, a smile appeared on his thin lips. His sharp brows softened slightly, and he said in a slightly hoarse voice, “Baby, you’re not jealous, are you? Why does it smell so sour?”

“Little vinegar jar!”

Luo Ning frowned. He felt flustered and annoyed by the teasing, his ears turning red. “Your attitude isn’t serious at all. You’re still teasing me. I am jealous. If it kills me, you’ll be happy.”

Seeing Luo Ning getting so angry, Mu Chengfeng stopped teasing. His eyes were filled with smiles, but he pretended to be wronged. “Baby, that fly came buzzing over by itself. It’s not my fault.”

“I was disturbed by him, so I need my baby’s comfort.”

Luo Ning’s eyes moved around. “How should I comfort you?”

Mu Chengfeng’s voice was low and hoarse. “With lots and lots of kisses.”

He leaned closer, his deep eyes seemingly able to draw someone’s heart in. Luo Ning wrapped his arms around Mu Chengfeng’s neck, wanting to take the opportunity to bite him, but he was caught at the back of his head, their breaths mingling.

Luo Ning found it hard to breathe, his whole body going soft, his long eyelashes fluttering slightly. It wasn’t until a round ball nudged against his abdomen that he reacted.

Flower Pig, having jumped around for a bit, was now tired and curled up in its familiar spot with its eyes closed.

Mu Chengfeng’s expression darkened. He had just been enjoying the kiss and holding his baby comfortably when this stupid dog came to steal attention. How could such a foolish dog exist? Why hadn’t lightning struck this dog? It was ugly and fat, and on top of that completely tactless. This dog will never find a wife in the future.

Filled with resentment, Mu Chengfeng pinched the dog’s neck, preparing to throw it away and continue the kiss. But when he met the dog’s eyes, he couldn’t help but get angry. The husky had grown a bit, and its pure silly husky eyes were now filled with disdain, giving a look of superiority.

Mu Chengfeng felt he was being looked down upon. He took a deep breath and was ready to toss the foolish dog aside, but Flower Pig seemed unhappy with him too. Its little paws kept flapping and scratching at Mu Chengfeng’s hand, its ears perked up, revealing its tiny teeth as it howled.

Suddenly, Flower Pig coughed and spat out a little flame. The flame was so weak that it extinguished as soon as it touched Mu Chengfeng’s hand. Flower Pig stared innocently with its devilish eyes, a bit confused.

The flame was tiny but undeniably real.

Mu Chengfeng was somewhat surprised, and Luo Ning’s eyes widened.

“What, what’s going on? Flower Pig can actually breathe fire?”

Mu Chengfeng thought for a moment. “It seems it has awakened its powers and has become a superpowered beast.”

Superpowered beasts were exceedingly rare, and very few could become close to humans. This foolish and dull-witted dog was quite lucky to be able to breathe fire. Even if it got lost in the future, it wouldn’t be caught and stewed.

Luo Ning carefully examined Flower Pig’s mouth and was very happy. He pulled Flower Pig closer and patted it affectionately. He had always liked Flower Pig, but now he cherished it even more. He had actually picked up a superpowered beast. Once Flower Pig grew up, it could breathe fire everywhere. How cool!

The attention of his little boyfriend was now entirely taken away. Mu Chengfeng felt helpless. He couldn’t do anything to that foolish dog. Watching it wag its tail in a fawning manner made him despise it even more, hoping it would grow uglier.

When Chen Li learned about this, he nearly cried. He wished he could punch the ground. Everyone here had abilities, even dogs did, but his ability was the most useless. He couldn’t even compete with a dog, bah!
