Chapter 93: Secret Satisfaction

Yuan Shize?!

What was he doing here so suddenly?

Yuan Shiyuan never locked his door, a reflection of the family’s mutual respect for privacy—they would never barge into each other’s rooms uninvited.

He had just received a message from his father saying he was out, so he had never imagined a third person might barge into his bedroom!

Yuan Shize’s sudden appearance made Yuan Shiyuan’s pupils dilate sharply. Realizing he was being watched by someone—even his own brother—overwhelming shame tightened every muscle in his body, and he couldn’t help but burst into another torrent of tears.

Caught completely off guard, Jiang Heng choked violently as a flood of liquid poured into his mouth and nose, coughing like a drowning man. Droplets streamed down his hair and jaw, leaving him utterly disheveled.

“What are you doing to my brother?!” Yuan Shize roared, yanking Jiang Heng away violently. He could clearly see crystalline tears trickling from the corner of Yuan Shiyuan’s eye, some even splashing onto his own clothes.

This sight ignited a blaze of anger in Yuan Shize, but when he saw his brother’s expression, the nameless fury abruptly shifted, transforming into a secret, burning desire.

Yuan Shize didn’t know whether to be angry first or to check his brother’s expression. He stared blankly at Yuan Shiyuan, utterly unable to look away.

He had never seen Yuan Shiyuan like this, not even in his wildest dreams.

Yuan Shiyuan was clearly still dazed, his tongue darting out wet and glistening as saliva trickled from the corner of his lips, dampening his chin and collarbones. He leaned against Yuan Shize, his right hand clutching the fabric of his brother’s shirt over his chest as if grasping at the only piece of driftwood in a raging sea.

With each shallow breath, the Alpha beside him could clearly smell the rich, alluring scent emanating from Yuan Shiyuan.

The scene before his eyes was so shocking that Yuan Shize hadn’t had time to think at first. Now, pressed close together, he noticed something was amiss.

How could there be… Omega pheromones?

There were only three Alphas in the room, and all three were known to be Alphas. Yet an unmistakable Omega pheromone lingered in the air!

Yuan Shize had even braced himself for the possibility that his brother was secretly dating an Omega. Instead, his palm brushed against something wet.

He froze, instinctively lifting his hand to sniff it. The scent was overwhelmingly strong…

That scent… it’s coming from my brother!

Yuan Shize felt like he’d been struck by lightning, his gaze snapping to Yuan Shiyuan, who wore a bewildered expression.

Though Yuan Shiyuan struggled to stay conscious, another Alpha was quietly approaching.

“Give him to me,” Jiang Heng demanded, his dark hair plastered to his forehead with sweat. He didn’t even bother wiping the dampness from his face as he reached out to reclaim Yuan Shiyuan.

“You dare touch my brother again?!”

This scene completely enraged Yuan Shize. His fury twisted into a manic grin as he swung a powerful backhanded punch, smashing it into Jiang Heng’s face.

“Don’t fight…” Yuan Shiyuan gasped, desperately trying to regain his composure and intervene. “He… he’s a guest…”

“A guest?!” Yuan Shize couldn’t believe what he was hearing. “Brother, what nonsense are you spouting?”

“No…” Yuan Shiyuan barely lifted his head before his younger brother’s coat was draped around him, pulling him into a tight embrace. He struggled to find the right words. “Jiang Heng is a guest invited by Mom and Dad. How could you hit him?”

He glanced at Jiang Heng, whose lip was split and bleeding, and asked hesitantly, “Are you alright?”

Both Alphas stared at him, falling into an unsettling silence.

Yuan Shiyuan sat demurely in the corner of the bed, his pajamas soaked halfway through with sweat, knees pressed tightly together. He was completely enveloped in an oversized jacket, his tear-streaked face still damp and glistening. Even though he hadn’t caught his breath yet, he was already fretting over the other Alpha’s injuries—it was truly…

Jiang Heng’s ears burned. He wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth and said reassuringly, “It’s nothing.”

But when he glanced at Yuan Shize, his expression turned icy cold. If the other man hadn’t been Yuan Shiyuan’s younger brother, he certainly wouldn’t have let this go.

But since he was Yuan Shiyuan’s brother, he’d just have to take the punch. He couldn’t let such a trivial matter make things awkward for Yuan Shiyuan.

“I’m sorry about that,” Yuan Shiyuan said, frowning at the obvious bruise on Jiang Heng’s cheekbone. “Could you step outside for a moment? I want to talk to my brother.”

Jiang Heng immediately rose to his feet. “Of course. I’ll wait outside for you.”

He paused, his voice dropping to a low murmur. “Could I use the restroom outside first?”

“Absolutely.”

Jiang Heng gathered his clothes and thoughtfully closed the door behind him, his considerate demeanor a stark contrast to Yuan Shize’s furious outburst.

The moment the door closed, Yuan Shiyuan grabbed Yuan Shize by the collar. “What were you doing just now? How could you hit someone? If Mom and Dad find out, they’ll beat you to a pulp!”

Even worse, what about the bruise on Jiang Heng’s face? They had team schedules coming up—could makeup even cover it? If it couldn’t, the media would go wild with speculation, fueling rumors of internal strife within the group all over again.

Yuan Shize stumbled backward, his feet unsteady as his brother yanked him by the collar. He stared dumbly into Yuan Shiyuan’s eyes—wet, misty, and with lingering redness at the corners—each glance tugging at his nerves.

His Adam’s apple bobbed. He lowered his voice and muttered, “But he was harassing you. He was just burying his face in…”

“Enough! I don’t want to hear any more details,” Yuan Shiyuan snapped, feigning sternness. “Kids shouldn’t see such things.”

“And why didn’t you knock before barging into my room?”

“I thought you weren’t home. I just wanted to grab a few of your clothes—the ones at the base are in the wash…” Yuan Shize paused, then grumbled defiantly, “I’m an adult now.”

“Adult or not, you’re still my little brother.”

“I’m barely a year younger than you!” Yuan Shize pressed his lips together, his tone stubbornly defiant.

Yuan Shiyuan finally caught on to the shift in tone. He frowned and looked up. “What are you implying? Do you think I’m not good enough to be your brother anymore?”

“Of course not! That’s not what I meant. I just think…”

Yuan Shize had once basked in the privilege of being his younger brother, relishing the special treatment that came with it. No matter how clingy he was, his brother would unconditionally indulge him.

But as he grew older, this sibling identity had become an invisible shackle, stifling all his unspeakable desires.

“Do you think I’m being bullied? No, don’t overthink it,” Yuan Shiyuan interrupted his thoughts. He cleared his throat awkwardly and trotted out the same old excuse: “We were just practicing. You know how it is in the entertainment industry—you have to sacrifice for your art.”

“Practicing? Do you guys practice like this even in private?” Yuan Shize wasn’t stupid. “Besides, does practice really require going this far? He clearly had ulterior motives—”

“Yuan Shize,” Yuan Shiyuan’s voice suddenly deepened, laced with obvious displeasure. A single sharp glance silenced Yuan Shize, choking off his words as if he’d been grabbed by the throat.

No matter how jealous or furious Yuan Shize felt at that moment, he had to suppress his emotions, daring not to argue back.

He wrapped his arms around his brother’s waist, subtly releasing pheromones to mask the other Alpha’s scent. His voice was muffled against Yuan Shiyuan’s back. “I didn’t, Gege. I was being good… really.”

“You’re only being good now?” Yuan Shiyuan’s tone softened slightly.

“I was wrong. I’m sorry.”

Seeing Yuan Shize finally calm down, Yuan Shiyuan’s expression relaxed as well. Ignoring that he still hadn’t pulled up his pants, he reached out to cup his brother’s face, his fingertips gently stroking his cheek with soothing strokes.

“Jiang Heng is my good friend. You struck him just now, so you must apologize to him.” His words were gentle, but his tone brooked no refusal.

“Apologize to him?” Yuan Shize’s voice rose sharply, but under Yuan Shiyuan’s steady gaze, he forced it back down. “You’re right, Gege. I was being impulsive.”

Yuan Shiyuan’s pinkish-white complexion was a sight this internet-addicted boy had never witnessed before. Unable to control the heat rising in his nose, Yuan Shize buried his face in the crook of his brother’s neck, his voice thick with grievance. “But Gege, we’re both Alphas. I could tell he had ulterior motives just now… I know you were just practicing, but I don’t believe he was only practicing.”

“He’s definitely doing it for his own selfish desires, to satisfy his twisted fantasies. He pretends to practice with you, but he’s probably already getting off like crazy.”

Yuan Shiyuan was utterly baffled.

But the thing was, he was getting off too?

Jiang Heng was doing it for his own selfish desires? Yuan Shiyuan couldn’t wrap his head around it. What was Jiang Heng getting out of it? Pleasure for his mouth?

On the contrary, Jiang Heng’s mouth had taken complete care of him, serving him intimately and thoroughly. If anything, it seemed more like Jiang Heng was satisfying his selfish desires.

“Let’s drop this topic,” Yuan Shiyuan said, waving his hand to end the topic. “Besides, we’re both Alphas, so no one’s really losing out.”

“But, Ge…” Yuan Shize hesitated for a long time before finally asking tentatively, “Why… why do you smell entirely like Omega pheromones?”

“Because I am an Omega.”

Yuan Shize digested this revelation slowly, then said shamefaced, “I’m sorry, Ge. I’m too dense to understand.”

Seeing his younger brother’s cluelessly apologetic expression, Yuan Shiyuan couldn’t help but smile. He explained the situation again, concisely: “I was always supposed to be an Omega. It was a pseudo-differentiation before. Now that my body’s getting enough nutrients, my Omega characteristics are finally developing…”

Yuan Shize understood immediately. “So that’s why your hormone levels have been unstable all these years.”

Yuan Shiyuan had been diagnosed with underdeveloped glands since childhood, but all hospital tests showed unstable hormone levels. Though worried, Yuan Xing and her husband were relieved that it didn’t seem to affect Yuan Shiyuan’s life.

Thanks to his parents’ meticulous care, he had finally gained some weight. However, his physique wasn’t as robust as that of a typical S-rank Alpha; instead, he was lean and slender, with a build somewhere between a fully grown Alpha and an adolescent—muscular, yet delicately framed.

“Yeah, yeah,” Yuan Shiyuan said. “I wanted to tell you earlier, but I was too busy and forgot.”

He added worriedly, “Mom and Dad will definitely worry when they find out…”

“We absolutely have to tell them,” Yuan Shize insisted. “You can’t shoulder everything alone, Shi-ge. You said it yourself, we’re family.”

Yuan Shize pressed his thin lips into a firm line, his eyes still filled with worry.

Only after Yuan Shiyuan showed him multiple medical reports and chat logs with his doctor did he reluctantly relax a little.

“I know. I wasn’t planning on keeping it a secret,” Yuan Shiyuan said, taken aback. He chuckled and looped an arm around his brother’s neck. “What are you thinking? You think I’m like you, keeping everything bottled up like some little kid?”

Yuan Shize’s soft body pressed against his, his heart pounding faster as wisps of sweet fragrance drifted into his nostrils. He swallowed hard, his throat bobbing, and muttered in protest, “I’m not little.”

Then, in a low, curious voice, he asked, “Brother, do you… do you like it?”

“Like what?”

“You know… when he kisses you like that. How does it feel? Does it feel good?” Yuan Shize pressed. “Do you like him kissing you like that?”

This was an adult conversation, but fortunately, both brothers were of age. Yuan Shiyuan answered bluntly, “Yeah, it feels great. I like it a lot. What’s wrong?”

Yuan Shize’s face suddenly flushed crimson.

He often dreamed of Yuan Shiyuan, but dreams were fleeting illusions, and he could never truly know his brother’s genuine feelings. Now, hearing Yuan Shiyuan say “I like it” with his own ears, a fierce, twisted sense of satisfaction washed over him.

It was as if Yuan Shiyuan were responding to his fantasy, telling him—even indulging him—that he liked what he was doing…

“Then what if it were me…”

Yuan Shiyuan slapped his younger brother on the back of the head, scolding with a smile, “What are you thinking? I’m your ge!”

“He can, but I can’t? We’re both Alphas… and I’ve grown up with you since we were kids. I could definitely do it better than him,” Yuan Shize protested, his voice tinged with his characteristic stubbornness and hidden longing.

“Jiang Heng has also grown up with me since we were kids,” Yuan Shiyuan said dismissively, unwilling to elaborate further. “Go grab me a new pair of pants and some disposable underwear. I don’t know where I put them.”

Yuan Shize glumly went to fetch them.

While his brother wasn’t looking, he surreptitiously rifled through the small backpack. His brow furrowed as he found it completely empty of disposable underwear.

How long has it even been? Has Shiyuan already used up all the disposable underwear I packed for him?!

Yuan Shize’s expression darkened, but he pretended nothing was amiss, silently stuffing several more pairs of disposable underwear into the backpack.

Then, as if nothing had happened, he nonchalantly returned to Yuan Shiyuan’s side, knelt on one knee, and gently grasped that slender ankle. He picked up a damp towel and, with practiced tenderness, began wiping away the lingering traces from his brother’s body.

Only when he had meticulously cleaned every inch, inside and out, did he slowly slide a fresh disposable pair of underwear up Yuan Shiyuan’s slightly trembling legs.

Yuan Shize’s gaze lingered on Yuan Shiyuan’s defenselessly exposed skin—flushed crimson with sweat—for a moment longer than necessary.

His Adam’s apple bobbed silently.

Throughout the entire process, Yuan Shiyuan remained lifted off the ground, like a large-scale collectible doll. Later, sensing his younger brother’s growing unease, he instinctively pressed his face against Yuan Shize’s chest.

What’s wrong? Is he getting anxious again?

“Ge, you’re so swollen,” Yuan Shize murmured, inhaling his brother’s unique scent. His high, straight nose brushed against Yuan Shiyuan’s soft, swollen lips, their color deepening to a flushed crimson. “Did he do this all by himself?” he asked sullenly.

“Oh, no, not all of it,” Yuan Shiyuan replied, not wanting to falsely accuse Jiang Heng.

Yuan Shize’s expression twisted violently. “So… he did this side, and the other side was some other Alpha? From your group?”

“Ge, are you really in a boy group? Or is it just… an organized debauchery?”

Yuan Shiyuan gently nudged his younger brother’s shoulder with his fist. “What do you think of me? I work hard every day, you know?”

Do these miners even need this work?

The revelation that Yuan Shiyuan was an Omega struck Yuan Shize like a thunderbolt. Excitement and terror twisted together, leaving him deeply unsettled.

Even as an Alpha, his brother had been wildly popular, attracting hordes of Alpha suitors like ravenous dogs. If others learned he had differentiated into an Omega… Yuan Shize couldn’t imagine the frenzy those Alphas would descend into.

Will my brother still like me? Will he still be this close to me?

And what about his S-rank Alpha Boy Group…

Yuan Shize desperately wanted to say, Brother, why don’t you just quit? Those S-rank Alphas are truly repulsive, especially now that you’re an Omega… But he knew his brother wouldn’t listen, and that he had no right to interfere.

He silently buried his worries deep within, his eyes swirling with intense unease. While helping his brother dress, he couldn’t restrain himself any longer. He lowered his head, burying his face against the soft skin, nuzzling gently.

His high, straight nose pressed against the tender, flushed tip, tilting it sideways.

“I want it too…” Yuan Shize murmured pleadingly. “Brother.”

“Dream on.”

Undeterred by the rejection, Yuan Shize silently lowered his head and took a bite.

“Hiss—”

Yuan Shize immediately looked up, his gaze locked on his brother’s face. He saw Yuan Shiyuan’s brows furrow slightly and his body tense for a moment, yet he didn’t push him away.

He knew better than anyone that this was a sign of indulgence!

Without hesitation, Yuan Shize, like a wolf cub starved for too long, buried his face and devoured with unrestrained hunger.

Yuan Shiyuan had initially intended to push away his thoughtless brother, but when he saw the intense anxiety and panic in Yuan Shize’s eyes, his heart softened. Now that his brother had quieted down and was focused on eating, his manners were surprisingly decent…

He simply withdrew his hand and let his brother do as he pleased.

Yuan Shiyuan understood this brother of his all too well, including his strange habit of putting things in his mouth.

Once, when he had stubbornly refused, Yuan Shize had secretly resorted to sucking on his hair in suppressed frustration. Ever since that incident, Yuan Shiyuan had been too terrified to deny his brother his fingers, fearing he might start putting all sorts of unspeakable things in his mouth.

If he didn’t let Yuan Shize eat his fill now, who knew what bizarre objects the boy might stuff into his mouth once he returned to the base?

Yuan Shiyuan sighed, feeling like a brother whose heart was constantly tormented by worry.

Oh well, let him eat.

Jiang Heng ate from the right side, while the brother ate from the left. A perfectly symmetrical arrangement.

When Yuan Shize came to apologize to Jiang Heng, his sincerity seemed genuine.

“I’m sorry, Jiang-ge. I misunderstood you. I shouldn’t have acted so impulsively.” Yuan Shize paused, then shifted his tone, his words carrying a pointed undertone. “But I still think friends need to respect boundaries. Just because someone’s easygoing doesn’t mean you can take advantage of them. Don’t you agree?”

Jiang Heng glanced coldly at the Alpha.

Yuan Shize’s thin lips glistened wetly, unnaturally flushed red, like a rat caught with its mouth smeared with grease. His smug, self-satisfied expression practically screamed, “Look what I just did!”

“I could say the same to you,” Jiang Heng replied with a cold sneer.

The moment Yuan Xing and her husband returned home, they learned about Yuan Shiyuan’s differentiation into an Omega.

They had barely sat down when they jumped up again. “Why didn’t you tell us sooner? Let’s go, now!”

“Huh?” Yuan Shiyuan blinked, confused.

“To the hospital!”

Despite Yuan Shiyuan’s repeated assurances that he was fine, his elders insisted he undergo a thorough medical examination at the hospital.

The diagnostic report confirmed Yuan Shiyuan’s earlier claim.

“See? I told you it was just a minor issue. I’m perfectly healthy,” Yuan Shiyuan reassured them.

Yuan Xing pondered the doctor’s words. “The doctor said you’re deficient in S-rank Alpha pheromones? Isn’t Xiao Ze an S-rank Alpha?”

Yuan Shiyuan, who was drinking water, choked and coughed violently. “Absolutely not! Xiao Ze is utterly unsuitable.”

“Why not?” Yuan Shize demanded.

“Just… no!”

Father Yuan glanced at Jiang Heng, suddenly realizing something. “Little Heng, aren’t you also an S-rank Alpha?”

Jiang Heng replied politely and proactively, “Yes, I am. If Little Yuan ever needs me, I’ll be there instantly. I’ll come whenever he calls.”

This earnest attitude made the elders’ already high opinion of him skyrocket.

With Jiang Heng’s assurance, the couple finally felt a bit more at ease. Yuan Xing still fretted, “But all the members in your boy group are S-rank Alphas… Isn’t Little Yuan in constant danger?”

“What danger? They’re the ones in danger,” Yuan Shiyuan retorted dismissively.

“You’ve always thought of yourself as an Alpha, but you’re an Omega now… things aren’t as simple as you imagine.” Yuan Xing grew increasingly worried as she watched Yuan Shiyuan’s carefree demeanor. “No matter what, biologically speaking, you’re the one at a disadvantage.”

Yuan Shiyuan’s gaze drifted evasively. He was too embarrassed to admit how many times he’d secretly taken advantage of his teammates. Not only had he claimed their temporary marks, but he’d even made them feed him Silent Night…

He rubbed the tip of his nose, feigning obedience with a docile nod.

That night, Jiang Heng had dinner at Yuan Shiyuan’s home.

While washing dishes, he noticed Yuan Shiyuan sitting on a small stool nearby, fidgeting slightly as if uncomfortable.

“Are you in pain?” Jiang Heng set down the bowl, wiped his hands dry, and crouched beside Yuan Shiyuan, asking softly, his voice hushed with concern and self-reproach.

In truth, Yuan Shiyuan was just annoyed by the stool’s rough pattern digging into his backside. “……”

He was engrossed in a game and shot a bewildered glance at the Alpha.

Jiang Heng misinterpreted this look. “I’m sorry, this is my first time,” he said. “I’ve never licked anyone else before.”

“……”

Yuan Shiyuan mumbled two perfunctory “oh”s, adding, “I’m fine, it’s nothing.”

Only now did Jiang Heng truly grasp the stark contrast between Yuan Shiyuan on the bed and off it. On the bed, when Yuan Shiyuan couldn’t take the kisses anymore, he’d whimper softly, sometimes even responding actively, a world away from his current cold, distant demeanor.

“But you were crying so hard just now.” Jiang Heng, convinced he’d performed poorly, stubbornly pressed, “Are you really okay?”

Is this going to drag on forever?

“Alright, stop asking.” Yuan Shiyuan quit the game, the tips of his flushed ears twitching slightly. His face remained impassive as he said coldly, “I’m really fine. Your kissing skills are average, and your licking is just as mediocre. I felt nothing remarkable the whole time, just… so-so.”

“You need a lot more practice.”

This merciless critique left Jiang Heng speechless.

“I’ll practice diligently,” he said, his voice hurt, before adding in a low murmur, “So… can I come back to practice with you later?”

“Mm-hmm, we’ll see.”

That’s not a problem, Yuan Shiyuan thought. Being licked is actually pretty nice. “It depends on when I feel like it,” he said.

If he ever felt like it, he could just call Jiang Heng over for a lick.

Early the next morning, Yuan Shiyuan arrived at the company.

It was still early, and only a few employees had arrived. Seeing Yuan Shiyuan, Xiao Huang cried out as if seeing a savior: “Help me! Save me!”

“You’re here just in time!”

From afar, Yuan Shiyuan spotted Xiao Huang rushing over in a panic: “Shiyuan-bao, save me! There’s a little brat here!”

A little brat?

Just as Yuan Shiyuan was about to ask for details, a little boy in striped overalls suddenly popped out from behind a corner. He was clearly dressed up, his hair even styled like his father’s, slicked back.

Seeing Yuan Shiyuan looking his way, Gu Weiyuan immediately pulled a rose from his pocket and pounced on Yuan Shiyuan.

“Mommy, I’ve come to play with you!”

Yuan Shiyuan instinctively caught the boy and realized he was wearing cologne—a strong, elite men’s scent that he’d clearly swiped from his father.

“How did you get here?” Yuan Shiyuan bent down to pick Gu Weiyuan up, curling his finger to brush away the cookie crumbs at the corner of the boy’s mouth. “Did you sneak out by yourself?”

“Yeah, I’m pretty awesome, right?” Gu Weiyuan said, sounding a little proud of himself. “Anyway, nobody watches me at home, so I just slipped out.”

“Mommy, do you think I have a good memory?”

Yuan Shiyuan patted the little boy’s head. “Such a good memory! You’re such a good boy.”

He turned to Xiao Huang. “Have you called CEO Yu and the others yet?”

“I only have the company number, but it seems they haven’t started work yet—the call didn’t go through. I don’t have any other numbers…”

“I remember Yu Ming gave Brother Zhuang CEO Yu’s business card,” Yuan Shiyuan recalled. “I’ll ask Brother Zhuang about it later.”

Getting in touch with Yu Sijing directly would be ideal.

“Mm-hmm,” Xiao Huang said. “What’s going to happen to him now?”

Gu Weiyuan, realizing he’d made a big mistake, lowered his head and said meekly, “I’m a good boy. I won’t cause any trouble, really… I just missed you. I wanted to see you…”

Teary beads welled up in his eyes, threatening to spill over.

Yuan Shiyuan carried the little boy to the cool break room and sat him on the sofa, gently patting his back.

“You wanted to see me, didn’t you? Here I am. Don’t cry.” Yuan Shiyuan gently patted the little boy’s stomach. It was indeed flat. He murmured, “Are you hungry? Did you skip breakfast?”

Gu Weiyuan looked up at Yuan Shiyuan through tear-filled eyes and nodded vigorously.

At this age, children still need regular meals to grow properly. Just as Yuan Shiyuan was about to order takeout, the break room door swung open, and a tall Alpha strode in, carrying freshly made breakfast.

Bo Jin’s face was pale and drawn, a consequence of his sudden susceptible period. Spotting Yuan Shiyuan, he immediately sat down on the sofa beside him and pulled him into a side hug.

He rested his chin in the crook of Yuan Shiyuan’s neck, taking a deep, greedy breath. The pheromones that had been clamoring and surging seemed to instantly calm, achieving a brief moment of tranquility.

It was as if another, more powerful force had compelled them into submission, daring not to stir again…

Yuan Shiyuan, still holding the little boy on his lap, was caught off guard by Bo Jin’s embrace. His expression flickered with confusion, but he didn’t push away. He could feel the Alpha’s unusually feverish body and his ragged breathing.

“How’s your susceptible period going? Are you feeling any better?”

Bo Jin had made his susceptible period sound so severe. It had only been a short time since then. Had he really weathered it safely in such a short time?

Bo Jin was still suffering intensely, but he had work today. Despite the medical team’s stern warnings and urgent pleas, he chose to ignore the lingering side effects of forceful suppression, insisting on injecting massive doses of high-concentration Inhibitors and Sexual Suppressants.

Noticing Yuan Shiyuan’s concern, Bo Jin tilted his head to inhale the scent of Yuan Shiyuan’s hair, his palm gently kneading the back of Yuan Shiyuan’s neck in reassurance.

“I’m fine,” he rasped, his voice rough from lack of rest. “You had a day off yesterday. Did you have fun?”

“Yes,” Yuan Shiyuan nodded. Seeing Bo Jin’s pale complexion, he pressed again, “Are you really okay?”

“Really, I’m fine.”

Bo Jin found himself inexplicably enjoying Yuan Shiyuan’s concern. A faint smile tugged at the corner of his lips, and suddenly his susceptible period didn’t seem so unbearable after all. He repeated, “Really, I’m fine.”

“Have you had breakfast? I bought an extra portion just in case.”

“I’ve eaten, but the little one hasn’t.”

Yuan Shiyuan sought the child’s consent. “May I give it to him?”

“What’s yours is yours. Give it to whomever you please,” Bo Jin said without even glancing at the little boy.

Bo Jin had no interest in the kid; in fact, he found the child’s persistent clinginess to Yuan Shiyuan irritating.

As Yuan Shiyuan leaned slightly to open the sealed snack bag, strands of his long, pink hair slipped over his shoulder and cascaded naturally downward. His hair had grown considerably longer, a requirement for his upcoming role, so he hadn’t cut it recently.

The ends of his hair swayed gently with his movements, like light, dancing pink notes.

Bo Jin’s gaze followed the swaying pink strands. Suddenly, he reached out, lifted a stray lock, and pulled a pale pink silk scarf from his pocket.

Cupping the soft hair in his broad palm, he skillfully wrapped the scarf around it, tying a neat, elegant bow at the end.

Xiao Huang: ??? O_o ???

What’s happening?

What is Bo Jin doing? Tying Yuan Shiyuan’s hair? Making a bow with the scarf?

Could Bo Jin, that big-A chauvinist straight-man, really be doing this?

But what shocked Xiao Huang even more was what came next. Bo Jin, who had always been terrified of As and vehemently resisted same-sex contact, casually reached out and pinched Yuan Shiyuan’s cheek.

“You’ve gained weight,” Bo Jin remarked.

Yuan Shiyuan was speechless. “This is just morning puffiness from waking up. My weight hasn’t changed.”

He had been meticulously managing his physique lately. For Bo Jin to say he’d gained weight was essentially implying his efforts were ineffective.

Xiao Huang couldn’t stand it any longer. “Puffiness? This is just youth and abundant facial collagen, making his cheeks soft and comfortable to touch.” He glared at Bo Jin. “Gained weight? If you don’t know, don’t spout nonsense.”

Yuan Shiyuan chuckled. “You’re right. But what can you expect? Brother Bo Jin’s a straight-A. He just doesn’t understand.”

Bo Jin neither confirmed nor denied this. Instead, he helped Yuan Shiyuan continue opening the sealed food packages.

“Do you want soy milk? Mung bean soup? I bought both,” he asked.

“I’d like chilled mung bean soup,” Yuan Shiyuan said after a moment’s thought.

Both the soy milk and mung bean soup were at room temperature. Bo Jin reached out and gently stroked the back of Yuan Shiyuan’s neck, coaxing, “Drinking something too cold in the morning isn’t good for you. Have the room-temperature one first, and I’ll buy you a chilled one later. Okay?”

Yuan Shiyuan’s brow furrowed slightly, looking a little unhappy.

He reluctantly agreed, “Alright. But I might not want mung bean soup later.”

“I’ll buy you whatever you want,” Bo Jin chuckled softly, finding Yuan Shiyuan’s hesitation endearing. “What’s a little thing like that?”

With practiced ease, Bo Jin inserted the straw into the cup and guided it to Yuan Shiyuan’s lips.

Xiao Huang stared in wide-eyed astonishment, while Gu Weiyuan glanced around, his small face furrowed in thought.

Gu Weiyuan, who had been observing them intently from the shadows, suddenly reached out and tugged at Yuan Shiyuan’s sleeve.

“Mommy,” he said earnestly, tilting his chubby face upward to gaze at the Alpha beside them. “Is this the new daddy you found for me?”

The air froze instantly.

Bo Jin’s hand, holding the mung bean soup, paused almost imperceptibly. For the first time, he truly looked at the little boy he had previously ignored. His usually cold, pale face softened slightly, a hint of smug satisfaction flickering across his features.

Bo Jin, who had previously found the little brat incredibly annoying, suddenly felt… He’s actually not half-bad.
