Pretending to Be an Alpha in an All-Alpha Boy Band - Chapter 91
Chapter 91: Traces
The kiss was utterly naive.
Rain pattered softly against the window. Listening to the natural rhythm of the rain, Jiang Heng slowly captured Yuan Shiyuan’s slightly parted lips. He began with gentle, patient licks along their soft outline, moistening them until they glistened. Only then did he tentatively probe the seam of Yuan Shiyuan’s lips with the tip of his tongue.
Neither closed their eyes, instead locking gazes, drinking in each other’s expressions.
Jiang Heng could clearly see a misty haze gathering in Yuan Shiyuan’s amber eyes at an almost visible rate. His breathing, previously calm, grew rapid, his brows furrowing tightly. A flush bloomed swiftly across his cheeks and the corners of his eyes, accompanied by a soft, nasal hum.
“Mmm…”
Jiang Heng froze, as if struck by lightning. He abruptly released Yuan Shiyuan, turned his head away in disarray, and gasped for air.
The soundproof glass muffled the rain into a low, indistinct murmur, which now became the sole backdrop to the scene. Aside from the faint patter, he could only hear the deafening thunder of his own racing heartbeat.
Startled by the sudden interruption, Yuan Shiyuan was momentarily disoriented. His damp, reddened tongue lingered outside his slightly parted lips, a glistening strand of saliva tracing a luminous trail down his chin.
His eyes unfocused, his expression blank with confusion, he looked up at the Alpha, bewildered.
“Hmm?”
Yuan Shiyuan’s hands remained loosely draped around the Alpha’s neck as they sank together into the soft cushions of the bay window.
Clearly still basking in the afterglow of their kiss, he craved more. His toes unconsciously brushed against the edge of the blanket, then slowly stretched out.
“Aren’t we going to continue?”
Jiang Heng froze, then carefully lowered his head. “May I?”
“If you want to, go ahead,” Yuan Shiyuan said casually, even shifting his position slightly. “What’s the big deal?”
His tone was nonchalant as he leaned against the Alpha, turning his head to gaze at the rainy scene outside.
The old neighborhood was lush with greenery, offering no view of skyscrapers but revealing a refreshing expanse of verdant trees. Rain-soaked branches swayed, droplets cascading from glistening leaves, lifting his spirits.
The bay window, remodeled and seamlessly connected to the bed, had created a bright, spacious area where Yuan Shiyuan could roll around freely.
Positioned close to the window, the room maximized natural light. Even during power outages, it wouldn’t plunge into darkness.
Yuan Shiyuan adored his room, this little world that was uniquely his.
Now, enveloped by the Alpha’s presence, he felt an even deeper sense of comfortable ease.
Yuan Shiyuan’s indulgence and permission stirred something in Jiang Heng’s heart. He couldn’t resist cupping Yuan Shiyuan’s face and excitedly nuzzling the soft flesh of his cheek.
Yuan Shiyuan continued, “Don’t you think the atmosphere’s perfect right now? Ideal for practicing getting into character? I feel the same way,” he added, his tone understanding. “I remember a scene in the script where the leads make love in front of a floor-to-ceiling window.”
“It must be similar to our current setting, right?”
Jiang Heng fell silent.
He hadn’t even thought about the script. Seeing how serious Yuan Shiyuan was, and how obediently he nestled in his arms, clutching his shirt, Jiang Heng couldn’t resist stroking the back of Yuan Shiyuan’s head.
“You have an amazing memory,” he murmured, his voice low and coaxing.
“Of course,” Yuan Shiyuan replied, clearly pleased, a hint of smugness in his tone. “My memory has always been excellent.”
As he spoke, he gently hooked a slender white finger around the Alpha’s collar. “Otherwise, how could I have remembered you all these years?”
The bitterness in Jiang Heng’s heart blossomed into warmth.
He lowered his head and kissed Yuan Shiyuan’s forehead. “Were you thinking about the script the whole time?” he asked, his heart clenching. “Even from the moment I kissed you? Is that why you didn’t push me away?”
“Huh?” Yuan Shiyuan blinked, taken aback. He answered truthfully, “No, I wasn’t thinking about it at first.”
Yuan Shiyuan wasn’t so dedicated that he’d be thinking about work even during his breaks.
When he’d seen Jiang Heng approaching, though confused and surprised, his mind had gone blank, unable to react.
It wasn’t until Jiang Heng tentatively pecked and licked at his lips that he felt comfortable enough to relax and even respond.
Only afterward did he realize Jiang Heng might have gotten carried away, truly feeling the moment and losing control, hence the kiss.
“What about you?” Yuan Shiyuan countered, “What were you thinking at the time?”
They volleyed questions back and forth, dissecting their feelings from that moment.
Jiang Heng: “I can’t really say. My mind was just filled with wanting to kiss you.”
Yuan Shiyuan couldn’t help but chuckle. “That’s normal. Lots of people say I have nice lips. Back when I lived in the dorms, my roommate used to joke about wanting to kiss me every day…”
Jiang Heng’s tone dropped sharply. “Did you let him?”
“Absolutely not!” Yuan Shiyuan replied without hesitation. “How could roommates kiss? Besides, we’re all Alphas—kissing would be ridiculous!”
Jiang Heng, however, had seized on a crucial detail. Suppressing his elation, he cautiously asked, “So your roommate couldn’t, but I could?”
“Of course! You’re my best bro. A true bro would take a bullet for me. What’s a little kiss between bros?”
“Okay then,” Jiang Heng replied.
Yuan Shiyuan couldn’t understand why Jiang Heng seemed so disappointed.
But he had to admit, his own bottom line kept lowering. First, he had to overcome his initial aversion for the sake of filming. Then, he genuinely needed the help of an S-rank alpha…
After a few times, practice made perfect. Plus, the experience was surprisingly enjoyable, with each session bringing unexpected pleasure. He’d even realized he no longer felt any real aversion to physical intimacy with alphas.
Of course, it had to be with alphas he knew well. If some random stranger or mere acquaintance alpha tried, even if they were S-rank, he wouldn’t be willing.
That’s why Yuan Shiyuan hoped his teammate would ace the audition. He had no desire to act out intimate scenes with some stranger.
While his mind wandered aimlessly, his body honestly reveled in the comfort of being held by an alpha. The alpha’s broad frame enveloped him completely, creating a warm, secure cocoon.
In this state, a kiss didn’t seem like such a big deal. After all, he was already getting off on it.
Yuan Shiyuan sighed inwardly. No wonder my friends used to ask for help with their studies. Getting help from others feels completely different than doing things yourself.
At that moment, Jiang Heng, his voice betraying a barely perceptible nervousness, asked softly, “So… what did you think of kissing me?”
After saying this, Jiang Heng’s palm clenched into a sweaty fist. He seemed to have mentally steeled himself before finally working up the courage to ask the question.
“It was okay,” Yuan Shiyuan replied dismissively.
“How does it compare to last time?” Jiang Heng still remembered Yuan Shiyuan’s previous comment about his kissing skills being average.
“Forgot,” Yuan Shiyuan brushed him off.
“……”
“Alright, fine, it was about the same,” Yuan Shiyuan said offhandedly. “Nothing special.”
“I’ve been practicing,” Jiang Heng protested.
“Mmm-hmm.”
Looking utterly defeated, Jiang Heng pressed on stubbornly, “How does it compare to kissing other people?”
“Er…” Yuan Shiyuan tilted his head thoughtfully. “Do you want the honest truth?”
“The honest truth.”
“You’re probably second-to-last, at the very bottom.”
Jiang Heng fell silent.
With his extensive kissing experience, Yuan Shiyuan had come to the profound realization that kissing required talent—and was, in fact, a technical skill.
Despite sharing their first kiss, the Alphas’ performances varied wildly. Some took to it immediately, quickly mastering the technique, while others seemed utterly clueless, clumsily mashing and sucking, leaving a trail of saliva everywhere.
If forced to rank them, it would probably go: Ying Mingxi first, Pei Yanbing second, Jiang Heng third, and Ying Mingche dead last.
Wait, I almost forgot about Bo Jin! Yuan Shiyuan thought. But that’s understandable; I haven’t kissed him yet, so I can’t really judge.
Yuan Shiyuan pondered this, and the realization struck him like a thunderbolt. They were roommates, sharing so much time together every night, yet they’d actually done the least!
So far, they’d only engaged in a brief role-play scenario—a campus equipment room scene?
Just as I thought, Bo Jin is a safe, reliable Alpha.
Straightforward and utterly trustworthy.
Seeing Jiang Heng’s dejected silence, Yuan Shiyuan patted the Alpha’s shoulder consolingly, like encouraging a hardworking but underperforming student. “Don’t worry, the audition hasn’t even started yet! You still have plenty of time to practice. I really want to act with you.”
“You can come to me anytime you need…”
“I need you right now.”
Alpha’s sudden movement startled Yuan Shiyuan into instinctively taking a half-step back.
His back pressed against the cold glass window, the chill seeping through his thin pajamas and making him involuntarily shiver.
Yet the thick tongue that forced its way between his lips was scorching hot. It swirled gently in his mouth, producing soft, wet sounds that mingled with his forced, intermittent whimpers.
“Ugh… mmh… ah…”
Yuan Shiyuan couldn’t pinpoint where Jiang Heng was kissing him, but it sent a tingling, electric thrill across his scalp. Clad in pale cream pajamas, his body gradually went limp, his arms hooking around the Alpha’s neck as he let out frantic, disjointed cries.
He melted into the Alpha’s embrace like warm cream, softening under the heat.
Observing Yuan Shiyuan’s expression, Jiang Heng thought he must be doing a good job this time.
Yuan Shiyuan’s eyes were half-closed, his pupils slightly unfocused. Tears streamed uncontrollably from the corners of his eyes, leaving glistening trails down his flushed cheeks.
Jiang Heng captured Yuan Shiyuan’s lips, hooking his warm, wet tongue and sucking deeply, creating a loud, wet sound.
Goo-chuk… mmm…
Overwhelmed by the kiss’s excessive pleasure, Yuan Shiyuan instinctively tried to bring his knees together, but the Alpha forcefully pried them apart with his leg.
Jiang Heng knelt beside Yuan Shiyuan, one leg wedged between Yuan Shiyuan’s knees. Through the thin fabric of his pajama pants, his knee repeatedly rubbed against Yuan Shiyuan’s vulnerable gland.
As the kiss deepened, Jiang Heng seemed to find Yuan Shiyuan’s most sensitive spot, relentlessly probing it with his tongue. Intense jolts of electricity coursed through Yuan Shiyuan’s nerves in a relentless onslaught.
The exchange of saliva grew more frenzied, the wet, smacking sounds echoing sharply in the silent room, even drowning out the torrential rain pounding against the window.
Yuan Shiyuan trembled uncontrollably from the intensity of the kiss. He tried to turn his head away from the overwhelming intensity, but the Alpha’s knee pressed firmly against him, trapping him in the corner, sealing off any escape.
Pinned between the icy glass window and the burning heat of the Alpha’s chest, Yuan Shiyuan was forced to tilt his head back and endure the kiss. His legs unconsciously rubbed and kicked against the soft cushion of the bay window, ultimately betraying him as his knees locked tightly together.
Unexpectedly, this brought his gland close to the Alpha’s knee, leaving it vulnerable to the Alpha’s repeated grinding pressure.
The Cabernet Sauvignon pheromone hung thick in the air, leaving Yuan Shiyuan feeling vaguely intoxicated. The pleasure of the deep, invasive kiss nearly stripped him of his ability to think.
How could he… improve so quickly?!
Are all S-rank alphas’ learning abilities this terrifying?
Yuan Shiyuan thought dazedly, his toes curling violently from the kiss. He clutched at the soft cushions on the bay window, a helpless sob escaping his lips.
“Mmm…”
But what Yuan Shiyuan found even more unbearable than the kiss that threatened to suffocate him was the gland’s reaction. After the relentless stimulation, it was ravenous once more, craving another injection of the S-rank pheromone.
This time, it keenly sensed that this was a completely new, unexplored pheromone.
The gland throbbed with excitement, burning and itching, while a deep ache simmered in his lower abdomen, both clamoring for the S-rank pheromone’s presence.
His hands, which had been weakly wrapped around the alpha’s neck, slid down to rest against the alpha’s chest. Yuan Shiyuan seemed to want to create distance, but his scattered consciousness made his attempt to push away backfire, causing him to slide further down instead.
Jiang Heng tightened his grip, his large hand firmly supporting Yuan Shiyuan’s buttocks, cradling him face-to-face like a child.
Yet his palm was abruptly soaked by an unexpected surge of wetness.
Jiang Heng froze momentarily, reluctantly pulling his tongue from Yuan Shiyuan’s drenched mouth with a thick, slurping sound.
He saw Yuan Shiyuan’s face flushed crimson, his breath coming in ragged gasps, a small, rosy tongue tip protruding from his parted lips, trembling weakly in the air as it exhaled hot, moist breath.
Outside, the rain continued to fall, drumming against the glass window behind Yuan Shiyuan, water streaks snaking downward like tear tracks.
At this moment, Yuan Shiyuan seemed utterly drenched by the rain, soaked through both inside and out.
It took Jiang Heng a long moment to tear his gaze away.
He tilted his head, staring thoughtfully at the puddle of clear liquid in his palm.
How could this be…?
What is this?
“Why is your body… like this?” Jiang Heng hesitated, searching for the right words, when Yuan Shiyuan’s wet eyelashes fluttered upward.
Yuan Shiyuan’s amber eyes, drenched in tears, blurred into a hazy, shimmering expanse.
A faint blush bloomed across his cheeks and neck, deepening below his collarbones.
The sight stole Jiang Heng’s words, leaving him momentarily captivated, almost dazed.
His canines continued to itch, and his breathing grew ragged. He lowered his head to kiss Yuan Shiyuan’s lips, but Yuan Shiyuan pressed his lips tightly together and turned his head away.
The slight furrow between his brows made it clear he wasn’t going to be kissed.
Jiang Heng chuckled softly, stroking the back of Yuan Shiyuan’s head with a dry hand. “Can’t I kiss you anymore?”
“W-wait… just wait a moment…”
Yuan Shiyuan spoke between breaths, his hands gripping Jiang Heng’s collar. His tear-drenched eyes, like a silent accusation, glanced up briefly. “You kissed me for too long. I need to breathe too.”
His voice sounded like it had been soaked in water, hoarse and damp.
Jiang Heng took this as an endearment. “Hmm,” he murmured, pulling Yuan Shiyuan closer, letting him rest his head against his shoulder to catch his breath.
Jiang Heng’s large palm patted Yuan Shiyuan’s back intermittently, as if soothing a frightened little animal, helping him regain his breath.
Once Yuan Shiyuan had calmed down slightly and straightened up, the already loose collar of his Alpha pajamas snagged on a clasp.
With a sharp rip, the collar tore open further.
From Jiang Heng’s overhead vantage point, illuminated by the natural light streaming through the window, the exposed view within the collar was unmistakable. Jiang Heng’s gaze plunged directly into its depths.
Jiang Heng froze in stunned silence. He reached out and lifted the hem of Yuan Shiyuan’s shirt. Yuan Shiyuan instinctively bit down on the offered fabric.
Both men lowered their heads together, the scene now laid bare before them in even starker detail.
Across expanses of snow-white skin, a strange constellation of crimson marks marred the landscape. Tooth-marked, deep red patches lay exposed to the air, their bruised intensity contrasting sharply with the pale pink indentation of the flesh.
The bedroom fell silent, broken only by the monotonous patter of rain outside.
“Why… are there finger marks and bite marks here?”
After a moment of silence, Jiang Heng slowly raised his gaze to meet Yuan Shiyuan’s eyes, each word squeezed out as if through gritted teeth. “Who did this?”
