Chapter 140: Good News

Yuan Shiyuan had assumed Bo Jin was already asleep.

He glanced at the time—it was past midnight. He was surprised he’d stayed at someone else’s dormitory so late, but even more curious… Why hadn’t Bo Jin messaged him much at all tonight?

In the past, if Yuan Shiyuan didn’t return to the dormitory, Bo Jin would have bombarded him with messages and voice calls.

Why was he being so uncharacteristically quiet tonight?

Clutching the pheromones left by the other Alphas as he neared his dormitory, Yuan Shiyuan noticed the motion-sensor light by the entrance remained illuminated.

He soon realized the illuminated area wasn’t due to the motion-sensor light, but because the dormitory door was wide open, bathed in the interior light!

Yuan Shiyuan froze, his innate sensitivity alerting him to danger.

Bo Jin’s uncharacteristic behavior and the unsettling sight before him made him turn to flee without hesitation.

But he crashed into a tall, looming shadow that had been waiting for him.

“Where do you think you’re going?”

The Alpha’s searing body heat pressed against him as a large hand clamped firmly around his waist.

Bo Jin leaned in, his gaze sweeping across Yuan Shiyuan’s face, inhaling his scent like a suspicious husband checking his beautiful wife for traces of other men.

Having reached a conclusion, he gently pressed his palm against Yuan Shiyuan’s slightly swollen belly. “You’ve eaten quite a bit.”

Yuan Shiyuan bristled at Bo Jin’s touch, his skin crawling. “It’s the middle of the night! Why aren’t you in the dormitory sleeping? What are you doing out here?”

“Waiting for my wife to come home,” Bo Jin said, his voice laced with a hint of clenched teeth. “Waiting for my wife to get tired of playing with other Alphas and finally come home.”

He inhaled deeply, savoring the lingering scent of other Alphas on Yuan Shiyuan’s body, his possessive instincts stirring in his bones. Yet, seeing Yuan Shiyuan nestle obediently against him, he couldn’t bring himself to be angry.

Play is play, but Yuan Shiyuan still came home tonight, didn’t he?

Bo Jin had even braced himself for the worst—that Yuan Shiyuan might spend the night elsewhere. But Yuan Shiyuan, full and satisfied, having sampled the pheromones of two Alphas in turn, had still remembered to return to their dormitory.

This proved beyond doubt that his place in Yuan Shiyuan’s heart was, after all, unique.

Bo Jin felt a smug satisfaction.

He didn’t let it show, however. Instead, he lifted Yuan Shiyuan into a face-to-face embrace, his tone enigmatic. “So you still know how to come home.”

Yuan Shiyuan remained on edge throughout the journey, sensing a storm brewing within Bo Jin.

Only after returning to their dormitory and being laid on their familiar bed, with Bo Jin showing no unusual behavior, did Yuan Shiyuan slowly relax his guard, lazily burying his face against the Alpha’s broad shoulder.

Bo Jin suddenly asked, “Did they treat your wounds?”

Treat my wounds? Yuan Shiyuan scoffed, “No need. It was just two guys.”

Bo Jin narrowed his eyes, watching Yuan Shiyuan’s nonchalant demeanor. A low chuckle escaped him as he casually lifted his arm and lightly patted Yuan Shiyuan’s smooth, full skin.

A crisp smack echoed clearly in the dormitory.

“How many more guys do you want?” the Alpha teased.

Yuan Shiyuan tensed at the slap, his entire body rigid, and a blush of shame rose on his cheeks.

Finally, he snapped, “Brother Bo Jin! I’m not a child anymore! Don’t you think this is a little… inappropriate?”

In the past, Yuan Shiyuan would have rather been stabbed with a knife than betrayed by a brother. Now, his standards had sunk lower and lower; he found that even being betrayed by a brother was preferable to being treated like a child and slapped like a pigudrum.

“Then answer one question, and I’ll stop hitting you,” Bo Jin said, soothingly rubbing the reddened skin. “What exactly… did you guys do just now? I want every detail. Every. Single. Detail.”

Yuan Shiyuan stared at him with a peculiar expression. “Are you serious? You want to hear those details again? Brother Bo Jin, sometimes you really are like a pervert.”

What could possibly be so fascinating about those details? Bo Jin might as well install a surveillance camera on him.

“You’re having so much fun with other men, why shouldn’t I get to join in more?” Bo Jin asked, his tone entirely self-righteous.

“Hearing the details counts as ‘sharing’?” Yuan Shiyuan scoffed, nearly laughing in exasperation. “What, listening to the details makes you feel like you’re the one doing it with me?”

Bo Jin drawled slowly, “Not a bad suggestion.”

“Don’t even think about it.”

Yuan Shiyuan leaned against Bo Jin, inhaling the Alpha’s pheromones. Thankfully, after a few rounds, he could manage to keep his composure.

Bo Jin nuzzled Yuan Shiyuan’s hair, sniffing it. “Did you shower?”

“Mhm,” Yuan Shiyuan mumbled, stifling a yawn. “Just a quick rinse to keep my pheromones from leaking out.”

He curled deeper into Bo Jin’s embrace, the Alpha’s scent intensifying beneath the blankets.

Suddenly, Yuan Shiyuan tilted his flushed face upward, his voice slightly nasal. “Brother Bo Jin, my stomach feels a little cold…”

He phrased it subtly, but Bo Jin cut right to the chase. “What? You want me to warm up your reproductive cavity?”

Before Yuan Shiyuan could even react to this blatant suggestion, Bo Jin gripped his chin. “Exactly how many times did you do it to get a cold stomach? And there’s still the smell of alcohol… all three of you together?”

“How many times did you do it with each of them? I want all the details.”

Yuan Shiyuan couldn’t help but roll his eyes. Here we go again.

“With the captain, maybe four times? Jiang Heng a bit less, twice, I think.”

“You remember it all so clearly.”

In truth, Yuan Shiyuan was just making up numbers. He’d been too busy enjoying himself to keep track.

Bo Jin slipped his hand into Yuan Shiyuan’s waistband, grabbing a silk scarf but not immediately pulling it out. Instead, he traced slow circles around the scarf, his voice deepening: “After feasting on so many Alphas’ pheromones, do you still have room for mine?”

He knew the answer better than anyone: Yuan Shiyuan definitely had room. The boy’s appetite was insatiable now. Even if more Alphas joined the fray, Yuan Shiyuan could easily devour them all.

“Of course I do,” Yuan Shiyuan replied decisively, then yawned, the corners of his eyes glistening with drowsiness. “But I’m so sleepy… I want to sleep… but I also want your pheromones.”

He lifted his damp eyes to the Alpha, making a request, “Big Brother, can I sleep while you do your thing? Would that be okay?”

Bo Jin’s face flashed with surprise, which quickly hardened into a deeper, darker expression.

“Fine, then. Hold it yourself.”

Bo Jin wrapped his arms around Yuan Shiyuan from behind, tearing off the bothersome silk scarf. Taking Yuan Shiyuan’s hand, he guided him closer. “Decide for yourself how much you want.”

Bo Jin knew Yuan Shiyuan had always been a little afraid of him.

And it wasn’t Yuan Shiyuan’s fault. His Omega traits had developed late, leaving his receptive orifice naturally narrow and delicate. Moreover, he was mixed-blood… With Bo Jin’s advantages, prying open that fragile, pitiful receptive orifice would be child’s play.

If it were anyone else, Yuan Shiyuan wouldn’t bother making the effort himself. But facing Bo Jin, he had to be cautious.

Dispelling some of his drowsiness, Yuan Shiyuan circled his arms around Bo Jin and slowly began to experiment. Thanks to the residual pheromones from the two previous Alphas, the initial progress was easy enough.

But around the one-third mark, Yuan Shiyuan clearly felt the strain. He froze, released his grip, and said, “That’s enough for now.”

“About a third, right?” he asked. “Brother Bo Jin, at this depth, I trust you can provide your pheromones.”

Bo Jin raised an eyebrow, his grip tightening on Yuan Shiyuan’s jaw. “Other Alphas could go all the way in, but with me, it’s only a third?”

Yuan Shiyuan remained silent, carefully turning over in Bo Jin’s arms to face him directly. He buried his face against the Alpha’s chest, his voice muffled and nasal as he whispered, “Big Brother… May I?”

Bo Jin couldn’t possibly refuse. He tightened his grip on Yuan Shiyuan and moved slightly. His gaze drifted downward, noticing how the once-sunken area had become swollen. Leaning down, he nipped at it and then looked up. “Honey, feed me.”

Terrified, Yuan Shiyuan quickly covered Bo Jin’s mouth, his entire body tensing at the shameful endearment.

But this couldn’t stop Bo Jin from speaking. His Alpha voice still slipped through the gaps between Yuan Shiyuan’s fingers, laced with amusement. “Honey, you feed me yourself. If you cover my mouth, I won’t call you that.”

Yuan Shiyuan removed his hand, feigning ferocity, but slapping the exposed two-thirds of Bo Jin’s member with no real force. “Wouldn’t it be quicker to just hit you?”

“Fine, no feeding then.”

Bo Jin didn’t mind the slap, instead raising an eyebrow and smiling. Even as he greedily devoured what was offered, he made sure to gently pat Yuan Shiyuan’s plump skin whenever the younger man hummed and fidgeted.

Knowing Yuan Shiyuan would be humiliated by this, Bo Jin deliberately slowed his movements, occasionally creating soft splashes of water.

It didn’t hurt, of course. But for an adult, this kind of treatment was far more humiliating than physical pain.

Yuan Shiyuan wasn’t a child. The more humiliated he felt, the more he trembled and clung tightly to the Alpha, his fingers curling into the Alpha’s shoulders, leaving several vivid red claw marks, as if warning Bo Jin to stop striking his “pigudrum.”

But this only fueled the Alpha’s arousal. Finally, at his wit’s end, Yuan Shiyuan tilted his tear-streaked face upward, his amber eyes shimmering with a watery sheen under the lamplight.

Seeming utterly humiliated, he whispered, “Husband… please stop hitting me…”

Bo Jin froze instantly, but Yuan Shiyuan’s eyes widened in horror. He’d thought that using this endearment would achieve its purpose… and it did, in a way. Bo Jin stopped hitting him.

But Yuan Shiyuan could clearly feel the curve of his belly, now filled with pheromones, becoming even more pronounced.

The Alpha had become even more aroused by the term of endearment, his arousal swelling to an alarming degree.

Yuan Shiyuan wanted to run, but as soon as he shifted slightly, Bo Jin grabbed him by the backs of his knees and lifted him into his arms. Previously, Yuan Shiyuan had refused to let other Alphas hold him like this, fearing it would be too intimate.

Yet here he was, experiencing it fully, with the very Alpha he feared most—Bo Jin!

The dormitory air swirled with the potent scent of Bluebell pheromones, intertwined with Bo Jin’s scorching, dominant pheromones. The rapid exchange of pheromones left the corners of Yuan Shiyuan’s eyes glistening.

Held tightly against Bo Jin’s chest, Yuan Shiyuan was suspended above the ground, the Alpha’s body his only support.

To avoid falling, he had no choice but to wrap his legs tightly around Bo Jin’s lean waist, his heels pressing against the Alpha’s lower back, his rounded toes curling helplessly.

In the end… it was finally 1/1.

Yuan Shiyuan stared in disbelief, then collapsed limply against Bo Jin’s shoulder.

He gasped for breath through parted lips, each soft pant audible in the Alpha’s ear.

“Yuan Shiyuan,” Bo Jin murmured.

Hearing Yuan Shiyuan’s response, Bo Jin, knowing he was performing well, repeated the name again and again in a low, insistent voice.

Most of the time, Yuan Shiyuan would ignore him, completely immersed in the experience, not even bothering to spare him a glance. But occasionally, when in a good mood, Yuan Shiyuan would let out a lazy, questioning hum through his nose.

“Hmm?”

“Yuan Shiyuan,” Bo Jin called again, then turned his head to kiss Yuan Shiyuan’s lips, murmuring hoarsely, “My wife.”

Though Yuan Shiyuan had heard this term countless times, his body still tensed involuntarily for a moment each time he heard it.

Encouraged, Bo Jin quickly captured Yuan Shiyuan’s lips, his rough tongue plunging deep into the soft, crimson depths of his mouth, leaving no corner unexplored.

The way he held Yuan Shiyuan pressed against him deepened the kiss further. As the Alpha deliberately quickened the pace, Yuan Shiyuan’s legs began to thrash uncontrollably, overwhelmed by the intense pleasure.

Yuan Shiyuan’s mouth hung slack, saliva trickling from the corner of his lips, his expression utterly undone. Seeing Yuan Shiyuan trembling violently, Bo Jin knew he was nearly fully open.

It was time.

As Yuan Shiyuan clamped down on him, desperately trying to resist, Bo Jin flooded him with his pheromones.

“Ugh—ah!”

The scalding-fresh pheromones surged into Yuan Shiyuan’s skin without warning. He shuddered uncontrollably, as if his entire body were melting from the heat, and his lower abdomen cramped violently.

After delivering his pheromones, Bo Jin instinctively nudged against Yuan Shiyuan’s receptive orifice, a reflex hardwired into his Alpha genes to ensure the pheromones reached the core of the receptive orifice without obstruction.

He held Yuan Shiyuan tightly, his large hand stroking down his sweat-drenched back. He lingered at the hollow of his waist, his thumb caressing the small mole that had deepened to a vivid crimson under his touch.

“Wife,” Bo Jin murmured, tilting his head to kiss away the tears at the corner of Yuan Shiyuan’s eye. “The pheromones have reached your receptive orifice… Is your stomach still cold?”

Yuan Shiyuan remained dazed. His pink hair, damp with sweat, clung to his flushed cheeks and temples. His body trembled uncontrollably from the clash of hot and cold pheromones, as if undergoing a baptism of conflicting sensations.

Seeing Yuan Shiyuan still disoriented, Bo Jin deliberately teased him. He withdrew slightly, paused for a moment, then swiftly returned. He deliberately made sure Yuan Shiyuan heard the crisp pop, like uncorking a bottle of red wine.

As expected, Yuan Shiyuan’s ears twitched, and he couldn’t resist nudging Bo Jin’s shoulder with his fist.

“Not cold anymore,” Yuan Shiyuan mumbled, his voice thick with exhaustion and post-coital huskiness.

He leaned heavily against Bo Jin, completely relaxed and sated. “Why do you keep… I really can’t anymore. So tired. I want to sleep.”

“If you want to keep going, go ahead. I’m going to sleep.”

“I’m done.”

After all, Yuan Shiyuan had already eaten his fill, and Bo Jin’s mission was perfectly accomplished. Though he hadn’t quite had his fill, Yuan Shiyuan’s needs came first.

He lowered his head, nuzzling the damp side of Yuan Shiyuan’s neck with the tip of his nose. “Then bite me and mark me.”

Seizing the opportunity, Bo Jin finally voiced the desire that had long lingered in his heart. He even pressed Yuan Shiyuan’s head against his shoulder, near his gland, deliberately releasing pheromones to tempt him.

Yuan Shiyuan lifted his eyelids for a fleeting glance, snorted coldly, and turned his face away, his lips pressed tightly together.

He held grudges.

He hadn’t forgotten the pigudrum beating or the being hugged like hay earlier.

Seeing Yuan Shiyuan stubbornly refusing to speak, like his little emperor refusing to cooperate, Bo Jin knew his attempt at a temporary mark had failed.

He wasn’t discouraged. After all, there was plenty of time ahead.

Bo Jin’s bed was soaked through and unusable.

He wiped Yuan Shiyuan clean with a warm towel, then laid several layers of absorbent pads on Yuan Shiyuan’s bed before carefully cradling the limp Yuan Shiyuan and collapsing onto the bed together.

Yuan Shiyuan closed his eyes, focusing on regulating his breathing, when he suddenly felt a flutter beneath his belly, realizing something was amiss.

He opened his eyes suspiciously. “Brother Bo Jin, are you really planning to just… sleep like this?”

“What’s wrong with that?” Bo Jin pressed closer, pulling him even tighter into his embrace. “This way, I can keep you plugged up.”

“Wouldn’t want any waste or leakage.”

Yuan Shiyuan’s face was a mask of astonishment. Fortunately, after their extended session just now, he had fully adjusted to the sensation of being filled and felt no discomfort.

Oh well, if Bo Jin wants to stay, let him. Consider it free soil tilling.

Yuan Shiyuan closed his eyes, adjusted himself into a comfortable position, and buried his cheek against Bo Jin’s chest.

He could clearly feel the Alpha’s scorching body heat, a large hand rhythmically patting his back, as if silently coaxing him to sleep.

After a few minutes, Yuan Shiyuan suddenly opened his eyes. “Big Brother?”

Bo Jin’s gaze softened as he looked down at him.

What’s gotten into Yuan Shiyuan today? He’s unusually clingy. Bo Jin thought with a stirring in his chest. Seems he relies on me more than I realized.

Bo Jin’s voice carried a hint of anticipation. “Do you like me holding you while you sleep?”

“Not really,” Yuan Shiyuan replied, shaking his head. He ventured a compromise. “Can I sleep alone tonight?”

Bo Jin’s expression instantly froze.

“You’re so hot,” Yuan Shiyuan explained. “I can’t sleep when you’re burning up.”

When you were greedily devouring my pheromones and clinging to me, you didn’t complain about the heat then, did you?

You drained my pheromones, used me up, and then tossed me aside? Not even letting me cuddle in your arms to sleep?

Bo Jin ignored the accusation, lowered the air conditioner temperature by two degrees, and said without a trace of emotion, “The temperature was set too high earlier. Is it cooler now?”

The biggest source of heat, of course, was right beside him.

Yuan Shiyuan frowned slightly. As the cool air gradually filled the room, the heat radiating from his body subsided, replaced by a faint chill.

He finally hummed in acknowledgment, then twisted his waist to press closer against Bo Jin, seeking more warmth.

The next morning, Yuan Shiyuan found himself unusually free from scheduled appearances, enjoying a rare leisurely day off.

Yet he didn’t fully relax. He spent his time either in the music room practicing the piano or in the dance studio rehearsing his choreography. In between, he photographed every detail of the afternoon tea he had with his staff, documenting each moment.

Later, Yuan Shiyuan updated his social media with a nine-grid collage. The photos included shots of him focused on his work, as well as glimpses into his daily life.

One photo, taken during afternoon tea, didn’t show his face. It only captured a hand giving a thumbs-up over a lavish spread of pastries, the pose casual yet brimming with genuine warmth.

The moment the post went live, fans swarmed in with likes and comments.

Seeing how much everyone seemed to enjoy his daily life updates, Yuan Shiyuan pondered for a moment, then scrolled through his photo album, selecting a few snapshots from last night’s gathering to share.

There was a group photo of him and his teammates, radiating warmth and camaraderie. Another showed him holding a wine glass. And then there was a solo selfie: his head tilted, palm partially obscuring his face, leaving only a single, smiling eye visible through the slender gap between his fingers, gazing directly into the camera.

Under the soft, hazy lighting, that single amber eye seemed exceptionally bright and clear. Many netizens began replicating the pose, posting their own similar photos.

Just as Yuan Shiyuan put his phone away, Ying Mingche appeared, his expression sour and his tone dripping with resentment. “Is Su Luochen sick or something? You post a nine-grid photo dump, and he immediately follows suit. You post a picture of yourself drinking wine, holding a glass, and he posts a similar one right after?”

“And that selfie of yours… hilarious! You cover half your face and only show one eye, and he changes the angle slightly, but still only reveals one eye, just like you.”

“What’s his deal? Is he addicted to copying you?”

Yuan Shiyuan didn’t think Su Luochen was deliberately imitating him.

The photos he posted, the angles he used, and the poses he struck were all fairly common.

“Just a coincidence,” Yuan Shiyuan said dismissively.

“How many coincidences can there be?” Ying Mingche swiped furiously through his phone. “One post could be a coincidence, but five or six in a row? Oh, look, he just posted another one—same photo layout as yours!”

“Shameless copycat!”

Yuan Shiyuan couldn’t help but laugh every time Ying Mingche got worked up like this.

Catching his amusement, Ying Mingche immediately leaned in, his tone pitiful and aggrieved.

“Why don’t you ever come looking for me?” Ying Mingche whined. “Didn’t I make you feel good before? Fine, I admit I was a bit rough back then… but that’s only because it felt too good, I couldn’t control myself.”

Yuan Shiyuan shot him a sidelong glance. “Too good, so it’s my fault?”

“How could you even think that?” Ying Mingche vehemently denied. “Of course it’s my fault! I lacked self-control… Little Princess, please give me another chance. I’ll behave properly this time.”

“And stop sneaking off to hang out with my brother and the others without me. Take me along too,” he added, his gaze darkening with resentment as he glared at the other Alphas nearby.

Ying Mingche’s expression was priceless.

He looked like a dog that had been repeatedly neglected but dared not show its resentment to its master, only daring to curse the other dogs that stole its master’s affection in dark corners—pitiful yet hilarious.

Yuan Shiyuan barely managed to suppress a laugh. “I’ll definitely call you next time,” he said casually.

“Really?” Ying Mingche’s face lit up for a moment, then he cautiously probed, “Do you mean… just me alone, or me… with everyone else?”

Yuan Shiyuan gave no definitive answer. “It depends on my mood.”

Even that was enough to send Ying Mingche into a frenzy of excitement. Just the chance was all he needed.

Overwhelmed by anticipation, like a large dog whose tail wagged uncontrollably, he suddenly pounced on Yuan Shiyuan, pinning him to the sofa. He leaned down and planted a loud, wet kiss on his cheek, leaving a crisp smack sound.

In the lounge, the other Alphas’ faces darkened. Zhuang He, who had just opened the door, caught the scene mid-action, his eyelid twitching and his blood pressure spiking.

“I understand what’s going on between you two, but show some restraint, people!” Zhuang He coughed heavily, then issued a stern warning to Ying Mingche: “Especially you! Stop dragging our Shiyuan’er into your nonsense. He’s still young!”

Ying Mingche pointed incredulously at himself. “Me? You’re talking about me?!”

He’d only played with Yuan Shiyuan once—and it was with everyone! He’d barely eaten anything, yet he got scolded the most. Talk about injustice!

But remembering Yuan Shiyuan’s promise from just now, he immediately brightened up. This little grievance suddenly seemed trivial.

“We’ve received word from Director Chen,” Zhuang He announced, settling into his seat with a refreshed demeanor. He pulled out two contracts, his voice brimming with undisguised delight. “Director Chen will be at the company shortly to sign the physical contracts… but we’ve already received the electronic versions.”

“Congratulations! Both male leads for the sequel are indeed Scepter’s!”

He deliberately paused, heightening the tension.

The atmosphere in the break room froze. The Alphas simultaneously straightened up, holding their breath and waiting intently for the answer.

Zhuang He scanned the tense faces slowly, holding the documents. Just as he was about to speak, he abruptly handed them to Yuan Shiyuan.

“Shiyuan’er,” he said with a warm smile, “why don’t you announce this good news yourself?”

The Alphas nearly choked on their held breaths, their anxious gazes snapping back to Yuan Shiyuan.

Yuan Shiyuan took the document and saw his two teammates’ names listed as the second male lead.

His gaze continued downward, scanning the full cast list. When he saw the remaining three members of Scepter listed in the “Significant Supporting Roles” section, the corners of his lips finally curved upward slightly.

This was excellent news. Not only were both second male leads from their Scepter, but the remaining three members had also secured excellent roles.

However, as Yuan Shiyuan’s gaze reached the bottom of the list and landed on one particular name, his expression froze. A flicker of disbelief crossed his eyes.

How… is Su Luochen from the Necro Boy Group also on the supporting cast list?
