Fissure: Riot Light—One of Xiao Bei’s two Rampage Skills. Upon activation, it ignites its own life force as the price, triggering its berserk heart, and pushing both its movement speed and attack speed to their absolute limits.

Movement Speed +400%

Attack Speed +100%

Duration: 20 seconds

Cooldown: 60 seconds

Consumes 5% of HP upon activation, and drains 1% HP per second while active.

The details of Xiao Bei’s new skill surfaced in Ye Tian Xie’s mind. Even amidst this battlefield, where absolute composure was necessary, he couldn’t help but feel immense shock. A 400% increase in movement speed and a 100% increase in attack speed—such an absurdly powerful support skill existed in this world?

Typically, buffs only granted small percentage boosts. Even Berserk Battle Intent, which increased attack by 30%, required HP to drop below 20% before it could be activated. Yet, Xiao Bei’s skill amplified stats by multiples, not percentages! Five times the movement speed. Double the attack speed. And the cooldown was absurdly short. Even the downside was just the usual HP drain, something all of Xiao Bei’s abilities already had.

In the next second, Ye Tian Xie understood the true power of Riot Light…

Xiao Bei’s base movement speed was 150. Under Riot Light, it skyrocketed to 750… What did a 750 movement speed mean? If converted into real-world units, this speed was nearly half the speed of sound!

Xiao Bei moved.

Its body shot forward like a white lightning bolt, flashing past everyone’s vision at speeds too fast for any reaction, too fast for anyone to follow.

Shhh! Shhh! Shhh! Shhh!

The white blur streaked through the air, tearing through space with a whistling sound akin to a sonic boom.

A Shield Guardian barely registered a flash of white in front of him before it vanished. Stunned, he had no idea what had just happened. Only when Xiao Bei’s claws struck another target did four red damage numbers float above him—his wounds registering long after the attack had already passed.

The berserk white shadow zigzagged through the Shield Guardian regiment, its movement erratic and utterly unpredictable. Its speed was so impossibly high that no one could clearly see what was happening. Slowly, they started seeing not just one, but an entire swarm of white blurs streaking across the battlefield. Snow-white phantoms tore through the ranks, leaving behind a trail of cascading red damage numbers.

Xiao Bei’s base attack speed was 150. With Riot Light, it surged to 300, meaning it could attack three times per second. Paired with its terrifyingly high movement speed, this meant that every second, three players were struck by its Meow-Meow Punch.

Once it locked onto a target, there was no escape.

Those struck by its Meow-Meow Punch were instantly eliminated—yet none of them even saw what hit them. More than half of them died without even knowing how.

Xiao Bei’s base attack power was 780. A full four-hit combo of Meow-Meow Punch could take away more than half of Ye Tian Xie’s HP if it hit him. In all of China, there was almost no player who could survive being hit by Xiao Bei.

Xiao Bei’s movements were simply too fast. Even though it was just a single creature, it left behind an intricate web of white afterimages. Amidst these flashes, strings of red damage numbers constantly popped up. In the blink of an eye, the Shield Guards that had originally surrounded Xiao Bei had already collapsed in droves.

Facing such a Xiao Bei, the Shield Guards of the Shield Guard Regiment could only stare in shock. The continuous white flashes in their vision left them dizzy and disoriented. The longer they tried to focus, the more their heads spun, making it utterly impossible to lock onto Xiao Bei’s position. They were completely unable to strike… And then, all they saw was a streak of white light passing by, and in an instant, four damage numbers wiped out their life force.

Watching Xiao Bei go completely berserk—slashing through enemies like a hot knife through butter—Ye Tian Xie was stunned for a full five seconds… This wasn’t just one Xiao Bei, it was as if there were an entire swarm of Xiao Beis unleashing a dazzling assault! Seeing damage numbers rising not just one by one, but in entire clusters, who could believe this was the work of a single crazy cat?

“Yao Yao, protect Xiao Bei!!”

Noticing Xiao Bei’s rapidly decreasing health, Ye Tian Xie snapped back to reality and called out urgently to Yao Yao.

Xiao Bei’s health wasn’t dropping because it was getting hit. With its current attack speed, landing a hit on it was nearly impossible, and even if it was hit, it would have to be a lucky strike. No, its health depletion came entirely from itself. Each Meow-Meow Punch consumed 3% of its life force. At three strikes per second, that was a 9% health drop per second. On top of that, during the duration of Riotous Light, an additional 1% of its health was lost per second. Right now, despite Xiao Bei’s overwhelming power, it was losing 10% of its life per second. Meaning, even if it wasn’t hit a single time, it wouldn’t last ten seconds before collapsing.

The moment Ye Tian Xie’s voice rang out, Yao Yao had already cast Mystic Spirit Healing, instantly restoring Xiao Bei’s health to full. Xiao Bei was strong, but its glaring flaw was that its skills drained its own life force. However, with Yao Yao around, this flaw was practically meaningless. Xiao Bei could unleash its strongest, most brutal attacks without restraint.

Xiao Bei and Yao Yao—one with extreme offense, the other with extreme healing—were a perfect combination.

“This… What the hell is happening? Why is Xie Tian helping us? H-he’s a complete monster… And that fox… and that cat…” The vice leader of the Red Leaf Alliance stood in stunned disbelief, swallowing hard. Even after more than ten minutes, he had yet to recover from the shock brought by Xie Tian’s overwhelming presence.

Ever since Xie Tian had arrived, the Wings That Obstruct the Heavens had not advanced a single step. Their once well-ordered formation had been thrown into complete chaos by his repeated charges, leaving their ranks in complete disarray. The sheer number of damage numbers rising in waves and the bodies collapsing in droves made his eyes nearly pop out of his skull.

At this point, Wings That Obstruct the Heavens had even stopped bothering with the Red Leaf Alliance entirely. They had redirected all their efforts toward attacking Xie Tian alone. This battle for territory had, from the moment Xie Tian joined, completely transformed into a spectacle of his sheer dominance.

“How the hell should I know?! I’ve met this Xie Tian several times before… The first time, we were actually the ones who wanted to cripple him… Our brains must have been jammed in a doorway back then… Damn it! Why the hell are you guys still standing there like idiots?! This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! Everyone, charge! Push Wings That Obstruct the Heavens out completely!!”

“ROAAARRR!!”

The Red Leaf Alliance, who had previously been beaten into retreat, suddenly erupted with an intense battle spirit. Like wild beasts, they lunged at the very people who had previously crushed them, turning their shame and frustration into a relentless counterattack.

Meanwhile, under the relentless slaughter of Ye Tian Xie and Xiao Bei—two death incarnates wielding their scythes of destruction—the members of Wings That Obstruct the Heavens fell one after another… Their bodies trembled, their hearts quaked.

Thousands of people couldn’t deal with a single person, and instead, they were ravaged like a storm. This crushing disparity tore apart their psychological defenses with ease, devouring what little morale they had left.

The Red Leaf Alliance no longer retreated; instead, their momentum surged like a rainbow, pressing forward in full force against the ranks of the Wings That Obstruct the Heavens. Each attack they unleashed was fiercer than the last, their strikes fueled by the reckless excitement of a battle they refused to lose. The Wings That Obstruct the Heavens were far superior in overall gear and equipment compared to the Red Leaf Alliance… But that pitch-black blade of Xie Tian and the white afterimage of that monstrous cat beside him made them feel as if two reapers—one black, one white—were constantly closing in on them, ready to deliver the fatal strike at any moment. Caught between these threats, they became hesitant and timid in their fight against the Red Leaf Alliance, frequently glancing backward in fear… They were actually being forced into retreat.

A battle that had initially been overwhelmingly one-sided was now, with Ye Tian Xie’s arrival, slowly but surely reversing.

The effect of Riotous Light finally ended, and Xiao Bei ceased its attacks, landing lightly on the ground. Around it, corpses of players from various classes were piled in thick layers. It licked its paws in satisfaction, as if the slaughter wasn’t quite enough to satisfy it. Though it had stopped, the sheer terror of those past twenty seconds lingered in the hearts of the Wings That Obstruct the Heavens players. Not a single one dared to step forward and attack it.

Too fast to be seen clearly, let alone dodged or countered, and capable of instant kills with every strike—who would be willing to face such a nightmare of an enemy?

While Ye Tian Xie had just finished wreaking havoc on the archer squad, he now charged straight into the ranks of the mages. The fragile spellcasters, who wouldn’t even last a second against him, were thrown into sheer panic. Not willing to sit and wait for death, they scrambled backward in retreat, turning their formation into complete chaos. Ye Tian Xie maximized his speed and positioning, leaving behind a trail of relentless attacks. Destiny’s Hour, moving at high velocity, mercilessly carved through everything in its path…

Seeing the Wings That Obstruct the Heavens formation already in disarray, now starting to show clear signs of collapse under the Red Leaf Alliance’s counteroffensive, the guild leader Cobra erupted in fury from the rear lines, his voice filled with rage.

“Useless… A bunch of useless fools!! What the hell are you all doing?! Stop panicking! He’s just one person… just ONE PERSON!! Focus all fire on him first! Archers, aim everything at him and fire! Mages, no one is allowed to retreat! Keep casting your spells! Even if his attacks hit you in the face, do not stop your magic! Blast him to death—BLAST HIM TO DEATH!!”

Cobra’s emotions had completely lost control… But under such overwhelming pressure, who could remain calm?

Xiao Bei didn’t follow Ye Tian Xie and Yao Yao into the mage formation. Instead, its gem-like emerald-green eyes locked onto a target at the rear of the enemy ranks. Then, with a swift lunge, its body shot forward toward its next prey…

Swish, swish, swish, swish!

Wherever Xiao Bei passed, damage numbers floated up like falling snow. By the time the surrounding players reacted and tried to attack it, it had already vanished. Moments later, it continued sprinting at high speed, slipping through the Wings That Obstruct the Heavens formation like a blur, before dashing straight toward the backline…

Toward the overall commander of the Wings That Obstruct the Heavens siege team—Cobra.

Seeing that terrifying monster of a cat, the one that could instantly kill anything it laid eyes on, suddenly rushing toward them, Lone Sword Without Scars instinctively turned and ran. But Cobra’s expression darkened, and instead of retreating, he rushed forward to meet it, stabbing down with his silver blade in a fierce counterattack.

What he struck was only Xiao Bei’s afterimage.

Appearing behind him in an instant with Meow-Meow Step, Xiao Bei lashed out with its claws. Meow-Meow Punch struck him in rapid succession.

-735!

-741!

-732!

-733!

As an Assassin, Cobra was a class with high agility and attack power but low health and defense. Any one of those hits was enough to kill him instantly, let alone four in a row. Before he could even recover from his failed attack, a death notification rang in his ears:

“You have died.”
