Chapter 136: Extra 1.8: Qi Hongyue x Wen Can: “I Am Your Vacation.” (End)

When others frequently brought up the topic of love in her presence, Qi Hongyue had pondered her own views on romance and expectations.

One failure wouldn’t crush her, but it was enough to teach her a hard-earned lesson, using past bloody experiences to sharpen her awareness and vigilance.

Many praised Qi Hongyue for her intelligence, but she never considered her IQ particularly exceptional. What truly set her apart was her ability to avoid repeating the same mistakes.

She analyzed, synthesized, reflected, established rules, and formulated plans.

The unknown was prone to error, but once understood, it could be entirely avoided.

Take the present moment, for example. The same sweet romance lay in her palm, desire burning like a fierce flame, the intimacy of skin against skin sending shivers through her heart, the hormonal surge stimulating dopamine release. She felt joy, excitement, and the conviction that the person beneath her was unique, alluring, irreplaceable… All this, she recognized, was a known trap.

She could let her body revel in pleasure, allow her mind to briefly succumb to ecstasy, but her spirit remained detached, observing with crystalline clarity, pondering, and directing.

She would never fall into this trap again, yet she could skillfully savor its delectable fruits.

Wen Can’s lips and tongue tasted like sweet, soft honey. Qi Hongyue pulled back slightly, her gaze lingering on those dewy, crimson lips, those closed, dark brows and lashes, and the fiery flush on her cheeks. Wen Can’s breath, fragrance, and moans brushed Qi Hongyue’s skin, all hot.

Qi Hongyue admired the sight, but her hands never faltered.

Her palm felt as if it were submerged in hot water—soft, warm, and slick.

Wen Can’s body trembled.

When Qi Hongyue teased her again, a broken whisper finally escaped her lips: “No, I can’t… Stop… just a moment…”

Qi Hongyue ignored her, her hand relentlessly pursuing Wen Can’s shifting body, watching the waves of desire surge upward from below.

Reaching her chest, the frantic heartbeat; reaching her throat, the drawn-out, elegant lines; reaching her lips, an unbearable hum…

Nowhere to hide, nowhere to run. Wen Can’s head pressed against the headrest, her waist arching further.

A palm landed fully, reaching the very core.

“Ah…” Wen Can looked up, falling into Qi Hongyue’s eyes at such close range. Those same eyes, calm as lake water, sparked briefly when a stray ember fell within.

Beneath the surface, they remained coldly indifferent.

Wen Can’s heart raced faster. She murmured, “Little Yue…”

“Hmm?” Qi Hongyue responded gently.

“Don’t you… like… it?” Wen Can struggled to speak coherently amidst the rhythmic swaying.

Qi Hongyue abruptly froze, withdrawing her hand and straightening her posture. Kneeling upright, she towered over Wen Can, who lay limp as a puddle of water.

Wen Can’s long hair lay disheveled, a dark red ribbon loosely tied at its ends. Strands matted with sweat clung to her smooth skin, a few stray locks plastered across her forehead.

A faint shimmer on Wen Can’s skin betrayed her feverish heat.

“Big Sister,” Qi Hongyue said, “I think your suggestion is excellent.”

She reached out, grasped the ribbon, and slowly drew it from Wen Can’s hair.

“We can try it.”

Qi Hongyue wrapped the ribbon around her palm. “Whether you like it or not, whether you’re satisfied or not—you can decide after we’re done.”

Wen Can wanted to say that this wasn’t work, nor was it business; there was no need for such formality.

But Qi Hongyue’s next move silenced her. She lifted her hands and used Wen Can’s ribbon to tie back the hair that had been loose around her collarbones.

With her hair swept up, Qi Hongyue’s clean, stark face was revealed.

The sharp outline of her jawline intensified Qi Hongyue’s icy aura. Wen Can’s heart clenched, a prickling sensation—a primal warning of danger.

Tension coiled in her limbs, anticipating its release, and her body responded with a visceral urgency.

Opening, surging.

Qi Hongyue retreated downward, her palms gripping Wen Can’s legs, stripping her of control.

“This is just the beginning,” Qi Hongyue murmured, her voice muffled in her throat, her breath ghosting across Wen Can’s most tender, sensitive skin.

“Mmm…” Wen Can couldn’t help but moan again, her chest hollow, her heart suspended in mid-air.

The premonition finally crashed down.

Danger and ecstasy, like two sides of a coin flipping endlessly, danced chaotically through her body and heart, intertwining.

She wasn’t some naive, inexperienced fledgling. She possessed ironclad self-control and endurance, yet she couldn’t withstand moments like this.

Moments with Qi Hongyue.

Qi Hongyue was like a machine that had burrowed into her heart, capturing every desire, every yearning, every suppressed urge.

And then, before she could even voice them, she would satisfy them.

Tenfold, a hundredfold.

Wen Can’s mouth hung open, but no sound escaped.

All the sound was elsewhere—powerful, resounding, reverberating through the space around her.

Muscles twitched, her heart convulsed.

The sheets beneath her felt like the sea breeze, salty and damp.

As she was driven to the brink of madness, Wen Can wondered if she had made a mistake.

When the electric current coursed through her body, sending shivers down her spine, and Qi Hongyue’s lips and tongue sealed against hers in a desperate kiss, Wen Can thought again: How much worse could it possibly get?

Maintaining their current relationship was acceptable; developing it further would be equally fine.

Love, when experienced, was sweet. Hatred, even, would be a life experience worth embracing, without regret.

The moon hung high as the ship sailed away from the shore, adrift on the boundless ocean, surrounded by endless expanse.

Qi Hongyue had drained Wen Can of every last ounce of strength. Exhausted, she drifted into unconsciousness during a moment of respite.

Qi Hongyue gazed at the beautiful body in the dim light, lost in thought.

After a long while, she got out of bed, found a wet wipe, and gently cleaned Wen Can.

When Wen Can awoke, the porthole glowed with the golden light of sunrise.

She was alone in the room, the remnants of last night’s frenzy still lingering on the bedsheets.

As Wen Can sat up, a strange sensation surged through her body. She nearly lost her balance, teetering before collapsing back onto the bed.

Her phone lay on the nearby table, the scattered clothes neatly folded and put away.

After a long pause to steady herself, Wen Can slipped into a robe, picked up her phone, and noticed that although they had only been sailing for a short time, a faint signal had already appeared.

There were many new messages, but none from Qi Hongyue.

Wen Can opened WeChat and asked, Where are you?

The message circled twice before sending.

On deck.

Qi Hongyue replied almost immediately.

Wen Can set down her phone and went to wash up first.

She lingered long in the bathroom. Every time her hand brushed the swollen area, she wanted to drag Qi Hongyue in and give her a piece of her mind.

Like a rabid dog—no sense of restraint.

But after the yelling, she’d probably end up kissing her again. She’d want to touch her, get close, repeat everything from last night.

Just thinking about it made her need to wash again.

By the time she emerged from the bathroom and got ready, nearly an hour had passed.

Wen Can texted Qi Hongyue again: Where are you?

Dining hall.

Wen Can went to the dining hall.

Bright sunlight streamed through the windows. Qi Hongyue sat by one, the sea and sky behind her like an oil painting.

Wen Can sat across from her, glanced at the half-eaten meal on the table, and curled her lips into a wry smile. “So you watch the sunrise and eat without me? Your service quality has really dropped since yesterday, hasn’t it?”

“Yesterday was work,” Qi Hongyue said, lifting her gaze, a hint of amusement in her eyes. “Last night and now… this is personal time.”

“So, this is how you treat…” Wen Can hesitated, unwilling to utter the word, and skipped ahead. “That’s a bit scummy, Little Yue.”

“Mm,” Qi Hongyue replied. “Someone told you on the very first day we met that I’m not a good person.”

“I’ll judge that for myself,” Wen Can said. “You don’t need to play the villain just to distance yourself.”

Qi Hongyue smiled but remained silent.

Wen Can raised her hand. “Go get me some food. The ship’s docking soon. I’m the client here, you know. Serve me properly.”

“Okay,” Qi Hongyue agreed without hesitation, rising smoothly to fetch her meal.

She brought her all her favorites, even thoughtfully opening her drink and inserting a straw.

As Wen Can ate and drank, replenishing her energy, she finally looked up at Qi Hongyue and said those two words with renewed vigor:

“If we define our relationship right now as ‘purely casual sex with no work or emotional strings attached,’ could you… adjust your behavior a bit? You know, be a little more considerate and proactive after we’re done? Don’t disappear the moment I open my eyes.”

Wen Can frowned. “It’s like after-sales service, right? Otherwise, this arrangement feels disjointed, a bit unsettling.”

Qi Hongyue gazed at her, her eyes like the calm, pale blue line of the sea beyond the window.

“Are you sure this won’t affect our work?” she asked, deliberately avoiding the word “feelings.”

Wen Can was truly exasperated by this workaholic. She smiled wryly and agreed readily, “Absolutely, absolutely. It’ll only have a positive impact, none negative. If you make me feel good, I’ll just think about you more while I’m working. And if either of us ever gets tired of it, we’ll end it cleanly and without fuss. Work stays work. You should have some faith in me—after all, the way we’re sitting here now, discussing this so rationally and professionally, is exactly what you’d expect.”

Wen Can bit down on her straw. “I know exactly what you’re thinking.”

Qi Hongyue laughed, this time a genuine, relaxed smile. “Yes, Big Sister, you understand me so well.”

Wen Can raised an eyebrow. “Deal?”

Qi Hongyue: “Deal.”

Wen Can: “I prefer one-on-one. Managing more people is too much to handle, and I don’t have the time.”

Qi Hongyue: “Me too.”

Wen Can quickly considered how to explain herself. Qi Hongyue had her hair tied up today, revealing her slender neck and the bare skin at the edge of her shirt.

Wen Can couldn’t help but recall last night, Qi Hongyue’s head buried between her legs.

Swallowing hard, Wen Can continued, “I’m not a bottom forever. I’ll be topping again eventually.”

Qi Hongyue’s lips curved into a slight smile. “Mm.”

Wen Can leaned forward, teasing with wide, innocent eyes. “Willing to let me touch you?”

Qi Hongyue’s voice was dry. “Of course.”

Wen Can settled back contentedly, resuming her meal.

Across from her, Qi Hongyue remained silent, her gaze fixed on Wen Can.

She watched Wen Can finish her drink, watched her take small bites of bread and swallow them slowly.

After a long silence, Qi Hongyue suddenly asked, “Last night… did you enjoy it?”

Wen Can’s throat moved as she swallowed a mouthful of sweet water.

“You still haven’t answered me. I asked you last night,” Wen Can said, not looking at her. “I asked first, so you should answer first…”

“I really liked it,” Qi Hongyue said, her voice ringing out clearly.

Wen Can looked up, meeting Qi Hongyue’s gaze, and heard her add, “I was very happy.”

Wen Can’s heart leaped.

Qi Hongyue never said “I like you” lightly. When she did, it was an unquestionable truth.

Wen Can smiled, a warm blush creeping up her cheeks. “Actually, my work was finished yesterday. No one’s waiting for me in City M. And this route takes much longer to get to the next stop.”

Qi Hongyue’s chest fluttered.

Wen Can’s smile widened, as radiant as the unobstructed sunrise she’d seen over the sea that morning.

“Qi Hongyue,” she said, “give yourself a vacation. I’m your vacation.”
