"And there you have it, folks! Another chapter conquered...or at least, not completely butchered. Please forgive any egregious errors; I blame the coffee (or lack thereof).

It was the first time Lu Mingqiu had ever seen an expression on a sheep’s face. The shock, panic, and bewilderment flashed vividly across the face with few expressive muscles.

Although it was inappropriate, it was really funny.

“She’s dead, you should be back to normal.”

Lu Mingqiu stood up and reached out to touch the other party’s back. The soft, smooth white fleece slid through her palm, the feel was incredible.

This wasn’t some kind of illusion, it was real, a person had turned into a sheep.

Yan Xianchuan almost jumped straight up from the ground. She stomped her feet on the spot, staring at her legs covered in white fleece, the light brown hooves, her brain was almost about to crash.

But when Lu Mingqiu walked over, she “happily” discovered that she was looking at the ground with her head down, how could she see what was happening on her back?

Yan Xianchuan shook her head, she blinked her eyes in confusion, she suddenly realized that her vision had become so wide, except for the back of her head, she could clearly see the picture from other angles.

It was as if she had a panoramic camera with her.

She hadn’t lived for a long time, but she had seen more of the world than an eighty-year-old. But this was the first time she had seen this.

Yan Xianchuan ran towards the bathroom in disbelief, she wanted to look in the mirror, but she had only taken two steps when her four legs started to fight uncoordinatedly, her two front legs tripped, and she flew headfirst towards the ground, her two short horns made a hole in the door.

“Don’t move, don’t move.” Lu Mingqiu, as if she had telepathic powers, quickly came around and hugged her head, which was flailing wildly, “I’ll help you, you want to look in the mirror, right?”

She pulled Yan Xianchuan’s head out of the crack in the door, then she reached out and wrapped her arms around her entire body, one hand supporting her chest, the other hand supporting her fat, furry butt, she picked up the little sheep, Yan Xianchuan, in her arms.

As soon as she touched her, the little sheep in her arms calmed down.

Lu Mingqiu kicked open the door with her foot, she walked into the bathroom, she used her elbow to press the light switch, the dim light poured down from above, clearly illuminating Yan Xianchuan’s current appearance—a little mountain sheep with smooth white fleece.

The whole sheep was clean, except for her head, which was covered in blood, it had soaked the white fleece, she also had two little horns, about the length of a little finger, they were quite straight, the grooves on them were also covered in blood, her brown-yellow eyes had black pupils in the shape of a line, they were staring blankly at the mirror, her short little tail was still wagging.

Lu Mingqiu: Cute.

But she only said it in her heart, “After I put you down, don’t rush, get used to it, don’t fall again.”

The white mountain sheep was carefully placed on the ground by her, it bleated, it was listless, its ears were also drooping.

“I’ll find a towel to wipe your face.” Lu Mingqiu said, she took down the light beige towel from the hook, she wet it with water, then wrung it out until it was semi-dry, she squatted down in front of Yan Xianchuan and gently wiped the blood off her head.

“Don’t worry, you’ll be back to normal.” she said as she wiped, “A person’s awakened psionic ability is inseparable from their own experiences, there are no psionic abilities that are completely unrelated.”

“Her psionic ability is also very strange, it doesn’t seem like a spell-type, before in the hallway, she also said that she saw our flames of life, she guessed the number of people on this floor.”

“You can’t communicate like this, I’ll use a mental link to talk to you, see if it works.” Lu Mingqiu held the sheep’s chin with one hand, she wiped all the blood off the other party’s head, then she couldn’t help but pinch her ear.

“Cough, try saying something in your mind.”

Yan Xianchuan stared at her, she blinked twice, the person and the sheep looked at each other for a while.

Lu Mingqiu: “I didn’t hear anything.”

Yan Xianchuan stomped the floor twice, she bleated resentfully.

But no matter how she bleated, it was a sheep’s bleat, it sounded sweet to human ears.

Lu Mingqiu: It’s really a little cute.

She held back her laughter and tried to say seriously, “Try walking.”

Yan Xianchuan couldn’t describe what it felt like to be a sheep, it was different from being human, it wasn’t the feeling of crawling on the ground with your hands and feet, it was just, there was an extra organ, especially since she also had a tail, it seemed to have a mind of its own, it wouldn’t listen to Yan Xianchuan at all, it would either wag or stop, it wouldn’t listen to her at all.

She could actually walk a couple of steps, but she would get flustered easily.

Yan Xianchuan calmed down, shook her ears, first left leg, right leg, left hind leg, right hind leg… step by step, she slowly figured out the pattern and got used to her current perspective.

She even found it quite novel.

During this time, Lu Mingqiu kept staring at her with a super-gentle gaze, watching her bounce around in the bathroom, she suddenly understood why so many people liked to keep pets, and why they always couldn’t help but nibble on their cat’s head. It turned out that when you were attacked by cuteness, you really would feel a strong urge to destroy. She now really wanted to hug this lively mountain sheep tightly and then bite its ear.

Yan Xianchuan looked up: “Baa.”

Then she was the first to walk out of the bathroom, she came to Meni’s corpse and stepped on her palm without hesitation.

Lu Mingqiu followed behind her, she didn’t turn on the lights in the living room, she used the light from the floating screen to illuminate her vision, she squatted down and searched through the other party’s clothes for anything.

The bathroom light wouldn’t shine through the curtains even if it was on. If she turned on the lights in the living room, it would be too conspicuous.

Yan Xianchuan had no hands, so she could only watch from the side.

Lu Mingqiu touched around for a while, she found a plastic card in the inner pocket of her shirt, it was purple with gold patterns, it said—High-Level Witch Certificate.

This looked like a child’s toy, but thinking back to Meni’s psionic ability, she could release small fireballs, she could also use spells, and she could mentally seduce people. It seemed reasonable to say that she was a witch.

So her psionic ability made her into a witch?

Lu Mingqiu was no longer surprised by the strangeness of psionic abilities, there was one in the organization that was similar, she could summon a unicorn.

It had white fur that glowed, a rainbow horn, and wings, only women could approach it, men who got close would only be met with its merciless hooves.

It could even talk.

“She wouldn’t have suddenly liked witch culture, we can go to her house and look for clues, maybe we can find out the reason, and we can find out why you haven’t changed back.” Lu Mingqiu reached out and rubbed the little sheep’s head.

She couldn’t help but touch it, Yan Xianchuan, who was being rubbed, didn’t dodge or avoid, she even closed her eyes in enjoyment. Seeing this, Lu Mingqiu couldn’t help but scratch her chin.

How could something be so comfortable!

Yan Xianchuan was amazed, she tilted her head and took two steps forward, she pressed her head against the other party’s chest.

The smooth and soft feel was simply irresistible to Lu Mingqiu, after a while, she still managed to let go of her hand with her strong self-control.

It wasn’t that the sheep wasn’t good to touch, but the sheep was essentially still a person!

“Let’s go.” Lu Mingqiu said as calmly as she could.

Yan Xianchuan, of course, didn’t know what embarrassment was. On the contrary, she was quite happy, it seemed that turning into a sheep wasn’t all bad, although she couldn’t speak, she got a lot of intimate contact.

She jumped up and down happily, she was completely controlled by the instincts of her current body.

When Lu Mingqiu opened the door, she happily walked ahead, bouncing down the stairs.

After such a commotion, the other resident on the second floor didn’t even come out to take a look, it was as if he didn’t exist.

The door on the first floor was open, Yan Xianchuan had just walked out when she saw a pile of rat corpses on the side of the road.

Her current state was also strange, although she had turned into a sheep, her physical fitness hadn’t changed. Sheep are almost blind at night, but she could still see things clearly, judging from the fact that she had easily broken through the door, her strength was still there.

Psionic abilities were really unpredictable.

Yan Xianchuan had just taken two steps forward when she stopped, she looked to the right of the street, a person was standing there, he also stopped.

She stomped her hoof, she made a small hole in the concrete floor, she kicked out a piece of gravel, then she kicked it again, the stone instantly flew out.

A whooshing sound.

The stone flew past the person’s head, it went straight into the old car on the side of the road, it made a hole in the trunk.

This was a blatant warning.

The other party was also sensible, he backed away from them, those who were still alive weren’t fools, they wouldn’t think that there was really a simple live sheep walking on the street, they wanted to catch it and eat it.

It wasn’t until he turned away from the intersection that Yan Xianchuan retracted her gaze.

It couldn’t be said that way, after all, even if she didn’t turn her head, she could still see this person, she turned her head to show him, to convey a message—I noticed you.

This almost 360-degree perspective was really convenient after seeing it for a long time, it was much more comfortable than the human eye’s 180 degrees.

She bit Lu Mingqiu’s clothes, signaling her to follow her.

Meni had come out of the building across the street, the door to the hallway on the first floor was also wide open, this floor also had three households, one of the doors was open.

Yan Xianchuan went in and took a look, a person who looked like a corpse was lying in the living room.

She retreated, she had just gone up to the second floor when a person was lying on the stairs, the corpse was also dry and shriveled, its skin was wrinkled and stuck to its bones, its mouth was wide open, as if all the moisture had disappeared.

No one lived on the second floor.

There were two doors open on the third floor, the residents inside had the same fate.

One person died on the fourth floor.

Finally, the two of them reached the fifth floor, two doors were open, one wasn’t a corpse, but it was broken into hundreds of pieces, the entire living room was filled with blood and flesh, the fishy smell was stronger than the seafood market.

Yan Xianchuan walked into the other room, there was no corpse, the layout of the room was similar to the one they had been in before, a huge black cat poster was stuck in the middle of the living room, this must have been Meni’s home.

There was a book on the coffee table, it had a black cover with a golden magic circle printed on it, there were several large characters on it—Witch’s Rules.

Lu Mingqiu picked it up and gently flipped it open, she said softly, “This book specifically teaches a witch the social rules and basic knowledge that she should follow. Written by Mary Joger.”

“This is an author.” she said, “I’ve read her novels, only one, it was fantasy.”

She flipped another page, “This should also be a novel.”

But it wasn’t a story with a beginning, middle, and end, written in the third person, it was like a user manual, the entire book was narrated in the second person, it told a witch about all sorts of things in modern society.

For example, “What’s flying in the sky is an airship, it’s not a dragon or a pegasus, there’s no need to panic.”

“It’s forbidden to use the forgetting spell on humans, unless you can guarantee that you won’t be discovered by others.”

“Never use a cauldron for making potions to cook.”

Lu Mingqiu flipped through a few pages, then she went back to the front to check the table of contents, she found an entry: Precautions for Forbidden Spells—Page 153.

The forbidden spells in the book were varied, like Dark Descent, Demon Summoning, Soul-Sucking…

Soul-Sucking could eat the other party’s soul, it could extend one’s own lifespan and strengthen one’s own soul. The stronger a witch’s soul, the stronger her magic, the person whose soul was sucked out would become a corpse. Although souls are very delicious, it’s important to note that after eating one soul, you must completely digest it before eating a second one, otherwise, an excess of souls will make the witch lose her intelligent brain.

Meni had eaten all the people in this building, she was so confident that she came to them and wanted to eat them too.

Lu Mingqiu continued to look down, Butterfly Parasitism, Flying Mosquito Spell… Transform into a Sheep!

She stared at it and read, “Transform into a Sheep is a witch’s favorite spell, it can turn people into bleating sheep, eating their meat can make a witch radiant. But it’s important to note that the Transform into a Sheep spell has a side effect, it’s time-limited, if the witch doesn’t deal with the sheep within twelve hours, it will turn back into a human. So, witches must remember, if you eat, you must eat fresh.”

“Twelve hours.” She curled her lips, “You’ll be back to normal.”

The little sheep by her legs bleated twice, she didn’t understand a word.
