Tears shimmered in Ye Duo’s eyes as she looked pitifully at Yuan Lang.

The tribe members looked at one another before returning to their fires and resuming the celebration.

That half-beast was dragged away by his father and mother, each tugging on an ear.

Wu Yue glanced at Yuan Lang, who was sitting comfortably by the fire roasting meat, and took several silent steps back.

This male was terrifying. He was a true slayer of females.

Suddenly, a line from an advertisement came to mind.

Wu Yue’s eyes lit up. “Of course I’m going. I want to see if I can find more herbs.”

“You are not allowed to go to the gathering tomorrow.” A sweet but hostile voice rang out behind the three.

Wu Yue and her companions frowned and turned around. Somehow, Aya and Ye Duo had appeared behind them without being noticed.

Both of their eyes were red, and their gazes toward Wu Yue were particularly vicious.

Wu Yue stood up. Although her build was much smaller than the two females, she showed no trace of fear. “You do not get to decide who goes gathering.”

Ye Duo sneered. “What a coincidence. The leader of tomorrow’s foraging team happens to be my mother. If I say you cannot go, then you cannot go.”

Wu Yue looked at her calmly. “You are hostile toward me.”

Her tone was firm, confirming what she had suspected.

Ye Duo’s expression instantly twisted. “Hostile?”

She stepped closer and closer to Wu Yue. “You were the one who told Yuan Lang about me and the half-beast!”
