For the past month, Wu Xianyao had been tirelessly searching for new students, but most people treated him as if he were foolish.

Martial Dao? What Martial Dao? Everyone knew it had long ceased to exist.

Despite his efforts, the academy’s roster remained unchanged with only the original three members. However, there was some good news.

Around twenty days ago, Jiu Xian’er successfully entered the first stage of Qi and Blood Martial Dao, triggering an additional feature within the system.

Once a Martial Dao student reaches the Beginner Stage, they provide ten Preaching Points daily.

In other words, Wu Xianyao now earns thirty Preaching Points per day.

Preaching Points serve two purposes: deducing Cultivation Techniques and maintaining the Immortal Martial Academy’s facilities, including producing Spirit Medicines. Currently, this maintenance requires only one hundred Preaching Points per month.

The space gate was set up about ten days ago, but Wu Xianyao hadn’t yet organized its usage for entering the academy.

Early in the morning, as Wu Xianyao opened the academy gates, he found three figures crouched near the entrance, eating noodles.

“I’ve already reached Qi and Blood like a river, how about you?” Chen Beixuan slurped his noodles from a takeout box, chopsticks in hand.

“Me too, I’m now at least around forty thousand units of strength.” Li Junlin raised an eyebrow, hinting a sense of pride in his achievement.

Jiu Xian’er, seemingly unfazed, had an empty takeout box at her feet and another filled one in hand, “These noodles are delicious! Next time, let’s order more bowls.”

“Arriving so early?” Wu Xianyao was still somewhat surprised.

“Master!”

“Xianyao!” x2

“Come inside first!” Wu Xianyao opened the door wider, allowing them to enter.

Without needing further instruction from Wu Xianyao, they immediately began their training routines.

Wu Xianyao sat cross-legged and activated the system interface.

[Host: Wu Xianyao / Title: Acting Headmaster]

[Age: 17]

[Gender: Male]

[Cultivation Technique: Nine Suns World Illuminating Art (Incomplete)]

[Realm: Initial Blood Ignition Stage]

[Physique: None]

[Preaching Points: 600]

[Current Deduction Time Available: 0 minutes]

[Task 2: Enroll ten students, Reward: 30 minutes of Deduction Time and one faculty member, Time Limit: One year.]

[Task 3: Establish the Immortal Martial Academy and enroll thirty students, Reward: Martial Skill – Heaven Slaying Sword Drawing Technique, two additional faculty members, Time Limit: Two years.]

[Library]

[Nine Suns World Illuminating Art]

[Qi and Blood Martial Dao Manual]

[Blood and Qi Tool Forging Manual]

[Tyrant Blade Step]

[Five Phases Breathing Technique]

One hundred Preaching Points allow for ten minutes of deduction; with six hundred points now, he can deduce for an entire hour.

Wu Xianyao pondered deeply; his best asset would be Martial Skills, as his current Martial Dao Realm was already sufficient for now, with further refinement possible later.

Numerous Martial Skills filled Wu Xianyao’s mind, such as Eighth Level, Hanger, Sword Techniques, Spear Techniques, and more. However, very few formed a comprehensive system suitable for the Body Tempering Realm, which is what Wu Xianyao needed to consider immediately.

Sword Techniques, Spear Techniques, Footwork, and Blade Techniques were his top choices.

After mentally planning, Wu Xianyao entered his room and began writing down the Martial Skills from his thoughts.

The first choice for sword techniques was Sword Twenty-Three, derived from a cultivation drama in his previous life. It required adaptation to fit the current system, taking him about twenty minutes.

Examining the description:

[Martial Skill: Sword Twenty-Three]

Difficulty: ★★★★

Current Mastery Levels: Beginner, Mastery, Completion, Supreme.

Note: Sword Twenty-Three must be self-realized, resulting in unique variations for each individual.

Next came the blade technique, this time entirely based on Wu Xianyao’s imagination. The outcome seemed promising; if not for concerns about insufficient deduction time, he would have also attempted techniques like Zhi Ge Style and Slashing Martial Dao from his memories.

[Martial Skill: Instantaneous]

[Difficulty: ★★★★★]

[Current Realms: Beginner, Mastery, Completion, Supreme.]

[Note: Derived from Sword Draw, this Blade Technique requires continuous fusion with other techniques to enhance its power. It is a growth-oriented Martial Skill.]

Wu Xianyao prepared to continue deducing but suddenly froze – he had run out of time. Yes, all remaining Deduction Time was consumed by Instantaneous due to its high attribute requirements.

Reflecting on it, Wu Xianyao decided it’s fine; at least two Martial Skills were successfully derived, which is still commendable.

He resolved to spend more idle time in future deductions, gradually expanding his Martial Skill repertoire.

Today, Wu Xianyao planned to open the academy’s space gate.

Remaining outside indefinitely wasn’t practical.

At noon, the trio stood side by side as a luminous golden gate materialized before them, adorned with vivid depictions of various mythical beasts swirling around it.

As the space gate appeared, additional information surfaced in Wu Xianyao’s mind:

The space gate can only be seen and entered by students. Students are bound not to disclose any details about the Immortal Martial Academy. Even soul searches cannot reveal the existence of the academy.

Additionally, the academy implements an age-based system:

Those uninitiated enter preschool, while those in the Body Tempering Realm start in first grade.

The academy was divided into grades: Blood Ignition Realm for second year, Spirit Gathering Realm for third year, with sixth grade marking the end of elementary school. The high school and university divisions would open subsequently.

“This is the entrance to our academy,” Wu Xianyao said solemnly. “Once inside, you must address me as Headmaster.”

Certain formalities had to be maintained, while others could be set aside. As both disciples and friends, they understood this implicitly.

Upon entering the academy gates, one encountered a thousand-step staircase, serving as a test. Wu Xianyao referred to it as the Path of Self-Reflection, akin to ascending heavenly stairs.

Without explicitly stating it, Wu Xianyao expressed his confidence in their abilities.

As expected, the trio navigated the path effortlessly.

Passing the Path of Self-Reflection meant that subsequent traversals during grade promotions should pose no significant challenges. In other words, their next encounter with this path would be when transitioning from elementary to middle school.

Wu Xianyao led the three students through the academy grounds.

As they entered, additional information became available:

The academy’s Library opened, comprising sections for Cultivation Techniques, Martial Skills, Miscellaneous Studies, and others remained unchanged from before.

Their school badges were automatically generated, featuring crossed blades with the inscription “Immortal Martial Academy” above them.

Wu Xianyao began introducing various aspects of the academy and assigned them to their dormitories.

“Alright, that’s all for now. More features will be gradually introduced over time, and you’ll learn about them as they become available.” Wu Xianyao explained meticulously, with the trio listening attentively.

“For now, focus primarily on your cultivation. I need to recruit some additional staff, Beixuan, given your steadiness, I’m entrusting the supervision of the academy to you.”

Wu Xianyao had been frequently out during this period, having already completed his visits to the Ninth Settlement District. Next, he planned to check on the Eighth Settlement District.

The settlement districts were vast, yet the houses within were small. Each district housed approximately one million people, making them quite crowded.

Driving Li Junlin’s car, Wu Xianyao entered the Eighth Settlement District.

Compared to the Ninth Settlement District, the Eighth wasn’t much better off.

However, life was still manageable here. Recalling an old classmate who lived in the Eighth Settlement District – she was a girl named Lan Yuecai – Wu Xianyao initiated a call.

“Hello, Wu Xianyao?” A clear and pleasant voice answered.

“Lan Yuecai, I’m in the Eighth Settlement District. Would you like to meet up?”

“Sure! Send me your location.” The excitement was evident in Lan Yuecai’s voice.

Wu Xianyao ended the call and sent her his coordinates.

Noticing a nearby bubble tea shop, Wu Xianyao decided to wait there while enjoying a drink.
