Li Junlin, Wu Xianyao, and Pan Xiaopang remained silent; their families’ worries were understandable.

Everyone knew that failing to address the Alien Race threat would lead to the nation’s downfall and loss of homes.

If they could defeat the enemy during their generation, future generations would live in peace. Although the chance was slim, it wasn’t entirely impossible, right?

Lan Yuecai also returned home today. Upon entering her room, she paced back and forth, as if reminiscing about past memories within its walls.

In truth, Lan Yuecai had deceived Wu Xianyao by mentioning her parents. It was merely a longing thought; both her parents had actually perished in battle.

Opening her communicator, Lan Yuecai saw a message from her brother and replied, “Brother, I’m home now.”

At Jiu Xian’er’s house, she sat with a large bowl of food, smiling as she said, “Daddy, every day Jiu’er eats well just like you asked. You promised to come back if I ate properly. But don’t worry, Daddy, Jiu’er will find you. I’ve prepared lots of food – all for you, Daddy.”

Each family had their own concerns, much like at the academy where Xiao Lin continuously crafted weapons, and Pan Xiaopang studied the World Culinary Compendium.

In the supermarket, Old An scrutinized a chess strategy book, while Zhang Shi held Sword 23 in one hand and debated between it and the Vanquishing Evil Style.

“Grandpa An, which is better, Sword 23 or Vanquishing Evil Style?”

Grandpa An raised his eyebrows and smiled, “Which one did you pick up second?”

Zhang Shi lifted the Vanquishing Evil Style book from his right hand, “It’s this one, Vanquishing Evil Style.”

Grandpa An nodded, “Then that’s your choice!”

Confused, Zhang Shi asked, “Why is that?”

With a cheerful smile, Grandpa An replied, “If you were truly satisfied with Sword 23, you wouldn’t have hesitated over Vanquishing Evil Style.

Clearly, you’re quite content with Vanquishing Evil Style. Don’t waver in your decision; deep down, you already knew the answer, didn’t you? You just needed someone to bolster your confidence.”

Sword 23 in Zhang Shi’s hand dissolved into specks of light and disappeared, while Vanquishing Evil Style opened before him.

In the alchemy room, Xia Yi and Mao Mao were busy at work. Mao Mao eagerly sniffed the Spirit Medicine before reluctantly tossing it into the pill furnace.

“Have you gone through the academy’s Alchemy Manual?” Xia Yi asked absentmindedly.

“Yes, the requirements are quite high. Currently, I can only refine 3rd Rank medicinal pills. For 4th Rank, I’ll need some more time, but don’t worry. Before the beast tide, I’ll definitely master 4th Rank pills. Then, every student in our academy will have a space ring stocked with them, practically treating them as everyday food,” Mao Mao said proudly.

“That sounds great! Your assurance puts my mind at ease. Is the princess still practicing her cultivation?” Xia Yi inquired.

“The Frost Prison True Scripture has a steep learning curve; the princess is likely still practicing in her dormitory.” Mao Mao tossed another piece of Spirit Medicine into the pill-concocting furnace.

“Be cautious around the Technology Building lately. The Alien Race closely monitors our technological advancements. If infiltrated by them, once any breakthroughs occur here, you’ll undoubtedly become their prime assassination target.”

Mao Mao had a keen understanding of the situation. Technological weaponry was always one of Great Xia’s trump cards, and if discovered by the Alien Race, the Technology Building could easily be reduced to rubble.

Don’t underestimate the Alien Race; they would not hesitate to take extreme measures.

“Hmm, I will keep an eye on it. When the Headmaster left, he gave me blueprints for a detector device. Xiao Lin is currently working on this project. Once completed, identifying members of the Alien Race will be effortless,” Xia Yi stated firmly.

“Can these detectors be mass-produced? The front lines need them even more than we do.”

Mao Mao was no novice; anyone serving alongside the princess had proven themselves capable. When serious, each possessed exceptional skills.

“With ample magnetic resonance stones, it’s possible. However, as you know, magnetic resonance stones are rare high-end materials. Great Xia only produces about ten to twenty pounds per year. Obtaining this material required significant influence from the Eldest Imperial Uncle. Otherwise, there’s no way we could have acquired them,” Xia Yi explained with evident frustration.

Xia Yi spoke with evident frustration; many crucial materials were now controlled by the Alien Race. If Great Xia still held its power from a thousand years ago, securing not just tens but hundreds of thousands of pounds would have been effortless.

The Alien Race had continuously attempted to sway Great Xia’s top talents to their side, but only a few were willing to defect. As a result, the Aliens adopted a new strategy: assassination. They targeted these skilled individuals directly, aiming to eliminate them until Great Xia lacked such talent altogether.

“There’s nothing we can do about it,” Mao Mao sighed. “Let’s send one set to the Headmaster first and distribute the rest to major military districts under the guise of procurement. We must ensure the Alien spies don’t discover this.” With preparations complete, Mao Mao ignited the fire for alchemy.

On another grueling day, under the scorching sun, parents bid farewell to their young warriors as they headed off to battle.

With tear-filled eyes, mothers and fathers entrusted their children, praying fervently for their safe return. The youthful soldiers waved enthusiastically, filled with determination as they said goodbye to their parents.

They spoke boldly of becoming great generals, vowing to slay countless aliens and rewrite their family histories – typical dreams of ambitious youth, brimming with pride and audacity.

Today, Chen Beixuan walked to the gathering point alone. His family offered to accompany him, but he gently declined. Aware that his journey could lead to life or death, he preferred leaving without their watchful gaze, allowing them a shred of uncertainty and hope for his return.

At least if he truly perished, they would have something to hold onto and remember him by.

Lan Yuecai arrived perfectly on time, dressed casually in black attire with her high ponytail, exuding a vibrant energy.

Jiu Xian’er also wore similar black casual clothes, munching on a meat bun as she approached.

Li Junlin, Li Feng, and Chen Qing were brought by Li Jie, all clad in matching black leisure outfits.

Observing himself in blue-white clothing, Chen Beixuan smiled, tapped his chest, and transformed his outfit into the same black leisure wear as the others, aligning their styles with Wu Xianyao’s preference.

The group of six didn’t head directly to the academy; instead, several individuals stood at the entrance, waving them goodbye. The six turned, waving farewell in unison, capturing this moment forever.

The battleship roared to life, ascending towards the front lines. At that instant, some parents could no longer contain their emotions, breaking down in tears or kneeling, praying fervently for divine protection.

Wu Xianyao’s wings fluttered as he observed the massive battleship emerging from the Space Gate, aware that war was imminent.

Seeing the six figures in their black casual attire, a smile graced his lips, hoping each one would return safely.

However, noticing his casual black attire amidst the scene, Wu Xianyao patted his chest, and a sleek black trench coat materialized around him. As the Headmaster, he couldn’t blend in with the crowd; this was his subtle display of pride.

After disembarking, the group began searching for their academy’s designated area. The academies’ bases were clustered together, allowing easy access to resources and authorization within these zones.

Upon entering their base, they first obtained military permissions from the administrative department, accessed some necessary information, and then proceeded outward.

Chen Beixuan activated a holographic projection, “There’s a ranking among the academies based on points. Every xenobeast we defeat will contribute to our academy’s score.”

Li Junlin also opened a projection, locating Immortal Martial Academy’s rank, “Our academy is currently at position three thousand, which is dead last.

Oh right, I forgot to ask you guys – since you were previously part of the military, how do your points count now?”

At this, everyone turned towards Linyue and Linyang.

“After joining the academy, our military status remains preserved,” Linyang explained. “Currently, we are students, but upon graduation, we’ll assume roles within the military. Meanwhile, the military covers all our expenses during our time at the academy.” However, Linyang didn’t mention one crucial detail: after graduation, both Linyang and Linyue would be required to serve five years in the military.

In truth, these conditions were acceptable to both Linyue and Linyang.
