Wu Xianyao continued to review Xia Yi’s plans, while Xia Yi respectfully stood by his side.

Originally a 5th Rank powerhouse, Xia Yi had willingly relinquished her cultivation, realizing it was the right decision. Just yesterday, she entered the first realm of Body Tempering, achieving Qi and Blood akin to water, with around twenty to thirty thousand units of strength at her disposal.

It is noteworthy that even at the 1st Rank, most gifted individuals rarely surpass seven or eight thousand units of strength, with nine thousand being their absolute limit. Now, with only the first stage of the Qi and Blood Martial Dao, Xia Yi possesses twenty to thirty thousand units of strength, and rumor has it that reaching completion grants a staggering hundred thousand units. With just the first stage of strength from the Martial Dao, one could match the power of a 1st Rank Xenobeast. Only those 1st Rank Xenobeasts with exceptionally pure bloodlines achieve such strength; ordinary 1st Rank Xenobeasts typically max out at fifty thousand units.

Unaware of Xia Yi’s wandering thoughts, Wu Xianyao focused on the documents before him: “Academy Points System,” “Dormitory Management System,” “Academic Regulations and Policies.” Various systems awaited Wu Xianyao’s approval. He meticulously reviewed each document, as they were crucial for the academy’s future. After two hours, Wu Xianyao asked, “How will the task module be implemented within this points system?”

Xia Yi quickly explained, “The academy can initially connect to the Great Xia Military’s mission module. We’ll use this for now as part of the support provided by Great Xia. Once our own academy mission system is established, we can transition away from the military’s module.”

“How will rewards be calculated? Will it conflict with the academy’s point system?” Wu Xianyao continued.

“No, the completed missions will be graded by the military on a scale from one to nine. The more missions accomplished, the greater the resources allocated to us by the military. In turn, we can distribute these resources to students based on earned credits.”

Wu Xianyao nodded, finding the system satisfactory. Simultaneously, the system informed him that the academy badges could serve as records for age and points while incorporating communication capabilities, including long-distance messaging—a truly powerful feature.

“Excellent, let’s proceed with this plan for now. Additionally, we should collect various Martial Dao Secret Arts, even if they seem useless, using the academy’s funds to acquire them.”

Xia Yi hesitated, unsure how to explain that the academy currently had very little money. Their income primarily came from the cafeteria and Refiner Pavilion, leaving only a few tens of thousands in the academy’s account.

“Headmaster, our academy currently has only a few tens of thousands left,” Xia Yi said hesitantly, feeling embarrassed to admit it.

Wu Xianyao understood the situation and produced ten Spirit Medicines. “These are healing Spirit Medicines; auction them off. Use the proceeds as initial funding for the academy. Oh, and once you collect the Martial Dao Secret Arts, place them in my office. Additionally, create large bookshelves in my office. You can also post a task within the academy to gather more Martial Dao Secret Arts, rewarding one credit upon verification, regardless of their usefulness.”

“Understood, I’ll make note of it.” Xia Yi nodded, holding a notepad ready.

“Headmaster, two new students will be joining tomorrow. Will you attend?” Xia Yi asked Wu Xianyao.

Wu Xianyao didn’t notice Xia Yi’s expression, which was filled with anticipation.

“No, from now on, handle admissions yourself. Once we have enough students, establish an Enrollment Office.”

The basic framework of the academy was now set up; the remaining tasks involved continuous refinement and improvement.

—

On the streets of District Eight, Xia Jiufeng held an umbrella, dressed in a vibrant orange skirt with her ponytail secured by a wooden hairpin. Her exquisite features and icy aura created a striking contrast. At first glance, she seemed approachable, but upon closer interaction, one would feel an intensely cold presence around her, almost chilling to the bone.

“Imperial Princess, we’re nearing the industrial area. As per your instructions, all abandoned factories surrounding it have been successfully purchased, covering a total area of 10 square kilometers.”

The princess nodded and turned towards the round-faced girl behind her. “Once inside the academy, keep a low profile; we’re here to learn. Also, as my close friend and alchemist, you’ll be responsible for my medicinal pills from now on.”

“Mao Mao understands, Imperial Princess.” Mao Mao’s small face scrunched up in confusion. Why come here when refining at the royal residence was perfectly fine?

Xia Jiufeng gently pinched Mao Mao’s cheeks. “Call me Jiufeng now, not Imperial Princess.”

“Waaaahh!! Alright, Jiufeng…Mao Mao can’t breathe.”

Relaxing her grip, Xia Jiufeng waved dismissively. “Let’s go! Immortal Martial Academy, here we come.”

Outside the entrance to the Immortal Martial Academy’s Outer Court, Xia Yi stood anxiously, gazing towards the distant plaza. Today, the Ninth Princess and Lord Mao Mao were expected to arrive. With numerous acceptance letters still in hand, Xia Yi considered this as recruiting students rather than abusing her authority for personal gain. Yes, that’s exactly right.

Seeing the two figures under their umbrella, undeterred by the scorching sun, Xia Yi jogged over promptly. “Imperial Princess, Lord Mao Mao, you’ve arrived.”

Xia Jiufeng glanced behind Xia Yi, noting that what was called the academy was merely a repurposed abandoned factory with a hastily hung signboard reading ‘Immortal Martial Academy,’ appearing quite makeshift.

“For now, don’t address me as Imperial Princess; call me Jiufeng. Also, Mao Mao will be a student here too. As the Headmaster’s assistant, prioritize your role within the academy.”

“Yes, Lord Jiufeng.”

Xia Yi led them to the outer office, producing two admission notices. “Please sign these first, otherwise, there are certain things I cannot discuss.” She knew her current predicament well—bound by contract terms, and any questions from Xia Jiufeng would put her in a difficult position.

Trusting Xia Yi, both Xia Jiufeng and Mao Mao briefly glanced at the documents before signing without hesitation. After witnessing two golden flashes enter their minds, Xia Yi let out a sigh of relief.

“Here’s the situation, esteemed guests. What you see now is only the Outer Court. Please follow me to the Inner Court.”

As Xia Yi guided the pair towards the Inner Court, she also outlined some of its regulations. Throughout this tour, neither Xia Jiufeng nor Mao Mao interrupted, demonstrating their excellent upbringing.

Once they were settled into their dormitory rooms, Xia Jiufeng turned to her guard captain. “Why is your cultivation base gone? And what exactly do you mean by this ‘Martial Dao’?”

“Sister Xia Yi, what happened? How did you become an ordinary person just from stepping out?” Mao Mao asked, frowning with concern. Internally, both felt anger simmering; if not for Xia Yi appearing perfectly fine, they might have caused quite a commotion right there.

“Please don’t worry, my lords. I’ve chosen the path of the Martial Dao; look!” Xia Yi extended her palm, revealing Qi and Blood Energy. “This is Qi and Blood Energy. Currently, I’m at the ‘Qi and Blood like Water’ realm, but my strength is around thirty thousand. I decided to undergo re-cultivation.”
